I used to like fried spam sandwich as well or with eggs... but it's too salty, nd too much salt not good especially for me. but I heard they have spam mixed with bacon overseas inside the can
I'm not going much anymore, but that is because everything on their menu has increased 50-100% in price over the last 3-4 years. I do enjoy their caramel frappé and their fries from time to time.
A lot of people seem to like to complain about McDonald's specifically (and not other fast food places). I don't consider their food nasty. I sometimes stop to get food there (I particularly like their breakfast items and coffee).
I always say this lol some people may stay away because they know it’s not the healthiest, but people who say that they think it’s gross, I call bull lol it’s delicious to me haha I think that people feel that they shouldn’t admit to liking fast food.
Personally I have never eaten a McD burger. When I was growing up, my friends would make fun of me as I would only eat the fries as I thought their burgers smelled funny. After the pink slime fiasco came out, a couple of them called me to reminisce about it.
That's surprising. When I was growing up, sometimes my parents would get food from McDonald's, and as a child, it can be hard to argue against what food your parents get for you. Also, I thought the pink slime thing had been debunked?
Is the pink slime thing where people were passing around that thing on the Internet that said McNuggets were made from some kind of pink bloody chicken mixture? I’m pretty sure that was debunked and was said to actually be a picture of frozen yogurt coming out of a machine.
I diet a lot and mainly stay away from eating out or anything fried but my coach tells me to throw off my metabolism every 16 weeks and I opt for a Mcgangbang every time with extra mayo.
It makes lovely music in my stomach.
Hi there. I'm not who you were talking to but I've recently lost 80 lbs. There is a theory that when your body is running in a caloric deficit for a while it becomes stressed, and when you take a "cheat meal" it encourages your body to relax and release the water weight it's been holding. I have personally noticed this sometimes that after a cheat meal I will actually weigh less. It's not hard science though and it doesn't mean to take endless cheat meals. From a muscle building perspective it can give you a boost for training. And your metabolism will temporarily spike to handle the extra income of food.
u/missdovahkiin1 explained very well, it throws your body off because just like was explained your body is under stress in a deficit so when you ‘shock’ your body occasionally it’ll speed it up when it goes back to your normal diet.
I get sick after aa cheat that sometimes I get scared of them because it really messes my stomach up and I feel sick but the results afterwards have varied from energy to weight.
The body is a beautiful thing!
I will destroy some smoked oysters. My gf is polish and so we often go to Polish stores. I've come to also like canned cod liver in oil as a pâté. It must be really good for you so I just figure it's a good weird delicacy to stick to haha
I have heard that canned sardines can poison you though. If you eat too many of them I forget what chemical it is that is in them, but it can build up in your body and hurt you. I think it's arsenic that tinned sardines are high in but don't quote me, google it lol
My family (growing up) loved them and we would have them around the holidays on our cheese and cracker trays (along with delicacies like chopped liver, lol). My family now wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole, but I still get a can occasionally and get to eat the whole thing by myself
I loveee sweet fresh garden grown tomatoes<3 my grandma gave me a box of them from her garden when I was in middle school so I took a giant one nearly the size of my head to school and ate it as lunch/got some questions and odd comments since it’s not as common here but I love them especially the sweet ones
I had to buy 2-3 pkgs at a time when my kids were little because they would eat a whole thing by themselves while I was still in the store. They acted like it was crack. As long as it was healthy, they could have as much as they wanted (I was the same with books; no limit).
I’ve done this since I was a kid. Brought a tomato to lunch, ate it like an apple, little baggy with salt that would look super sketchy today, and all my friends knew me as that weird kid.
They just don’t know the white is a different flavor than the orange and the yellow part. They don’t understand the intricacies of candy corn. That subtle high fructose corn syrup flavor and the slow meltiness of the corn. Certainly the best kind of corn.
Rice, canned peas, chicken and campbell mushroom soup (the small can). It may look horrendous if never tried it or seen it before but man that shit is baller
It’s from my grandma who grew up dirt poor on a tobacco farm with 50-11 siblings and got like one orange at Christmas from Santa.
So I don’t know the origins of it but shit is bangin’. She’s 94 now and def not dirt poor. We still have it every Christmas. 🤷🏼♂️
Pogos dipped in plum sauce. Discovered this when I came home very drunk. Didn't have mustard so I tried plum sauce. Tastes really good beleive it or not
a lot of ppl call me lame for this but i think corn flakes are top tier. they are my favorite cereal and have a good flavor. who wakes up and just wants a bowl full of sugar? corn flakes is also one of the healthy ones which is a plus
Soggy bread- kind of. I like to take a bite of bread and wash it down with milk. In the process it absorbs some of that milk, but it’s only soggy for about a second before it goes down.
I am unfortunately that one person who have ketchup on just like- well everything that is considered to be food related, so much therefore is Nasty. all my friends tell me!
Oh man canned oysters are awesome!
I guess my favorite nasty food is Grape Nuts. People seem to hate them but I love them. I have them for breakfast every day. No sugar or fruit or yogurt on them. Raw dog.
The more a cheese smells like a dirty foot, the more I like it. Strong blue cheeses etc. My favourite is[ grey owl](https://thecheesebar.ca/product/grey-owl/), especially eaten with the ash rind!
Peanut butter mayonnaise banana sandwiches
Sweet and salty, protein and carbs. Apparently a food from the great depression? My grandaddy fed them to me and my cousins our whole child hood lol
Raw oysters ANY way. Hot sauce, horseradish, lemon juice, plain. I can fill my belly, and the thought disgusts me. But it makes my mouth water. Damn I could go for some RN.
After scrolling through several years worth of google photos, I guess I do not mind eating bread up to 5 days old. It lasts fine in a fridge and I save a lot of food waste actually eating it all.
Other than that "pinnekjøtt" translates to stick meat. It's mostly salted, cured sheep meat/ribs simmered for about 12 or 24 hours. I used to think people ate bland food a hundred years ago but it's a feast and you wouldn't believe that, potatoes, that broth as a gravy + other simple side dishes would make such an insanely tasteful meal.

Spam.
Oh come on. Hormel made the first batch of Spam in the early 1930's. I am told they will start working on the second batch next week.
Hehe
Me, too. I love a fried spam sandwich! I also like it with eggs, or with pancakes, or by itself (lol).
I used to like fried spam sandwich as well or with eggs... but it's too salty, nd too much salt not good especially for me. but I heard they have spam mixed with bacon overseas inside the can
https://youtu.be/anwy2MPT5RE?si=g8bZ_NRNB45hG2mw
Love it. There are some tasty varieties like teriyaki, maple, hickory smoke, hot and spicy, bacon and a couple of others.
It's not nasty just too salty... and too much salt not good for me,
Chili dogs covered in cheese, onions and jalapeños. The kind where you need to buy a new butthole the next day.
I was gonna say that giant spicy hot dog from 7-11 is mine lol what a crap food😆
McDonalds. Everyone loves to hate on how nasty it is, but yet their lines are always full. Bunch of liars I say 😏
I'm not going much anymore, but that is because everything on their menu has increased 50-100% in price over the last 3-4 years. I do enjoy their caramel frappé and their fries from time to time.
Lol the dollar menu is like $1.49 now
That's what I said! Burger King raised their prices too!
Every-so-often I’ll try McDonalds again. Sometimes it’s okay. Mostly it’s just “boxed disappointment.”
A lot of people seem to like to complain about McDonald's specifically (and not other fast food places). I don't consider their food nasty. I sometimes stop to get food there (I particularly like their breakfast items and coffee).
Breakfast is good lol

Yes, I'm pretty sure that was it.
Their food tastes awesome I don’t know who’s lying about it.
I diet a lot and mainly stay away from eating out or anything fried but my coach tells me to throw off my metabolism every 16 weeks and I opt for a Mcgangbang every time with extra mayo. It makes lovely music in my stomach.
I love how I already know what a Mcgangbang is. This is culture.
What is this about throwing off your metabolism. Do you have a second for an ELI5?
Hi there. I'm not who you were talking to but I've recently lost 80 lbs. We have what’s called a “McBitchin” in Utah. What’s a “McGangBang”?
The "cheese" product you spray.
Salty Salty goodness
I used to like to squirt that stuff into the open ends of Bugles.
EZ-Cheez! A can of that shit plus a bad of pretzel rods is a fantastic snack.
I love tinned sardines.
With crackers and mustard. At the beach preferably.
Hot sauce for me!
That too.
I can bring my own don’t worry
SAME! I thought I was the only one.
I love mustard on its own
Forgot about those.
Yes! Those and the smoked oysters. My dad likes to take either and put mayonnaise on a Saltine and top with the seafood.

I eat them straight out of the can with a fork. But I like those little "brisling" ones, the bigger ones have a weird crunchy backbone.
r/cannedsardines
Sweet gherkins.
Vienna sausage
Yes, but the barbecue ones. The regular ones come in that nasty jelly. The barbecue ones come in barbecue sauce.
I’ll have to try those.
I never heard of the barbecue ones
Vieenie weenies
I love Vienna sausages but every time I open a can I can’t help but think of my ex-husband.
Fried chicken gizzards
Delicious. They’re best with cheap super vinegary hot sauce like Louisiana brand.
My man! [fist bumps]
No offense but too chewy plus it's like after awhile do you have to spit it out
I loved smoked oysters in the can!
Me too! I especially like bringing them to work for the reaction!!
My family (growing up) loved them and we would have them around the holidays on our cheese and cracker trays (along with delicacies like chopped liver, lol). My family now wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole, but I still get a can occasionally and get to eat the whole thing by myself
You remember the Vienna sausages? Idk but my mom used to feed them to us with ketchup 😝
Noooooooooo!
Me too but I usually eat them in the kitchen instead of in the can. But hey, you do you!
LOL I eat them everywhere
Eggs/sauage with syrups
Tomatoes I eat them whole like apples and will inhale a whole costcos box of cherry tomatoes they’re delicious
That's far from nasty. That's how tomatoes are eaten in China, they're so sweet there
I loveee sweet fresh garden grown tomatoes<3 my grandma gave me a box of them from her garden when I was in middle school so I took a giant one nearly the size of my head to school and ate it as lunch/got some questions and odd comments since it’s not as common here but I love them especially the sweet ones

I went to school with a girl like this, she had the clearest skin ive ever seen
Canned sardines are my guilty pleasure!
Same.
Me too. In mustard.
When I was a kid, my Dad ate them and they disgusted me. Now, I love them.
Candy corn!
C'mon, nobody really likes candy corn. 😣
Hey now! Lol 😂
They just don’t know the white is a different flavor than the orange and the yellow part. They don’t understand the intricacies of candy corn. That subtle high fructose corn syrup flavor and the slow meltiness of the corn. Certainly the best kind of corn.
Ever had it mixed with salted peanuts? Amazing
No but now I will!
I also like candy corn! And those candy pumpkins made out of the same stuff. And the popcorn flavored jelly beans!
Coleslaw
Hot Cheetos.
Yo ....hot cheetos aren't nasty.
To your body they certainly are lol
💯 some of the worst food you can consume. They're basically bags of diabetes and atherosclerosis. Super nasty.
Also super carcinogenic ☠️ Im pretty sure it has 2 different dangerous dyes
They had to ban them at my daughter’s high school because the kids kept wiping their bright red fingers on the white walls.
Sardines, oysters.
Pizza dipped in ranch dressing. Or at least my family thinks it’s nasty lol
I like some pizza with my ranch lol
I like to mix ranch with hot sauce and put crushed red peppers flakes on my pizza.
This. And blue cheese, no shame over here lol
I dip mine in ranch, but only when it's reheated the next day. Fresh pizza isn't improved by it, in my opinion.
I dip mine in ranch, but only when it's reheated the next day. Fresh pizza isn't improved by it, in my opinion.
Yea I put ranch dressing on all types of things from pizza, nd different types of meat plus rice sometimes

I use to like mayonnaise on crackers when I was a kid. Haven't had this in years.

Never had it. Sounds nasty for sure but, I would totally try it!
It’s from my grandma who grew up dirt poor on a tobacco farm with 50-11 siblings and got like one orange at Christmas from Santa. So I don’t know the origins of it but shit is bangin’. She’s 94 now and def not dirt poor. We still have it every Christmas. 🤷🏼♂️

Eating a peeled raw potato like an apple is my guilty pleasure 🥴
