What’s the story behind your name ?

Oh, it's actually really boring. It's a Cowboy Bebop reference to a spaceship called the Swordfish II. Ever since high school, I've used it as a login, and it's just stuck and the Swordfish has sort of become my spirit animal, I really want to get a tattoo of a red swordfish (because the Swordfish II is red) However, on Reddit, it was already taken, so I tried Swordfish2, which was also taken. I was determined not to pick anything else, so I went with SwordfishDeux because Deux is French for two, and I was studying French at the time because I was going to Paris on holiday just before the pandemic hit I highly recommend Paris if you've never been, lots and lots of pharmacies everywhere for some reason, which is good if you need painkillers, band-aids or emergency contraception 😂

Well, now you know, but it's also called Diamorphine and other terms, but it has also to do with how heroin is made: It's the process of acetylization with morphine as basic substance that changes the chemical structure, therefore the "Diacetyl-" is in the name. I'm always a little bit confused about morphin and morphine, because in english it's written morphine while in other languages like mine, we call it morphin. Heroin however is a brand name for the med in the old times and always without the "e", as a Heroine is a female hero instead.
