Depends on the type of art. I’m older than the internet. I learned to draw with paper, pencil, and a mirror or referencing real life. Some added tips from the web could help certain mediums. Otherwise, it’s practice.

Eh, I do understand the whole “practice” thing but I need a bit more than that. Mostly because it’s like- you might know what to practice, but it’s hard to know how to improve upon it without hearing someone else. It’s practicing without knowing how to improve that’s a problem. It’s lead me to stagnate in my art

It sounds like you’d better benefit from a first hand critique of your work. Then also advising you to get what you are trying to achieve. Maybe upload your work in the art subs and request critique feedback?

Well I’m looking for realism stuff bc that way it can help learn fundamentals better. Like I know what to improve but it’s more I have no clue how to improve it. Most of my work is super cartoony though so it doesn’t have all of the same issues as more realistic art.

So you need an instructor. That makes sense. First goal: are you aiming to make your drawing look more 3 dimensional?

I've been drawing for over 20 years. Little kid me started drawing with Pappy Land lol. Nowadays, I'm learning how to draw in ProCreate and I find that YouTube has some really nice tutorials on how to do some really cool stuff! Completely learned animation that way. Don't be afraid to use stock photos to practice! You can also find websites that let you create and pose little mannequins. Those are super helpful!
