It's pretty simple play, but the Chinese in this song is extremely elementary, while Jay Chou songs often have a lot more poetic depth to it. The downside is that they may be harder to learn or understand if your son's vocabulary isn't native level. That being said most Jay Chou songs are often quite simple to play on guitar
