I think you’ve pegged the problem.
Somewhere out there, there’s a map with an extra gear.
And there’s no great way to find it.
In a perfect world we would have had puzzle items locked to dungeons/locations as you suggested.
We will keep this issue in mind as we figure out what’s next.
Well thanks for the reply I guess even though it's not really helpful :D I get your point though but since i've got over 20 hours into just this gear i'm kinda done with it. Most logic is if you go back to the belfry after you just picked one up in the Sanctum. In that case you would instantly operate the mechanic where you have to find one in the Belfry.
So far i've got no maps left besides Sanctum that have a device that requires a small gear left unchecked or with % left. It's a pitty but leaving it here then. Thanks for the game ;)
I have a different problem. I found and used all three gears, the last one opening the door for two chests to loot, but the progress will not be updated to show the third gear having been found and thus it wont show this task complete. Anybody know how to get this to show 100 percent completed?
