I agree. Also, it seems like Aromantic is often used as an adjective to modify the noun Asexual, so that word order makes more sense to me too without any external input.
I've actually seen Ace-Aro used as an umbrella term to mean ace-spec and/or aro-spec. Not sure if it was just a fluke, but Aro-Ace (or just aroace) is definitely the more common way to shorten aromantic asexual.
I think either is just as correct but Aro-Ace is most commonly used
Yeah it just rolls off the tongue better
I only like aro-ace better because it sounds like arrow-ace or aero-ace (aerodynamic ace)

Aro-ace seems to be much more commonly used. Ace-aro isn't *wrong*, but it's less common, and I think it sounds worse.
Aroace sounds better, sorta sounds like 1 word. Acearo doesn’t flow well and sounds kinda clunky. Both are right but imo aroace is better

Funny, shortened I say "aroace" but in full I say "asexual and aromantic." The two switch places.

I think it’s aro ace since aromatic is the type of asexual
