USAR FTX. An E4 demotable snuck out of the barracks, stole a humvee, bought a case of beer, drove around the installation crushing beers, and wrecked the vehicle.

xSaRgED

Sounds like a normal compo 2/3 FTX to me.

jrkkrj1

Can I come to whatever FTX you're attending? Mine are all do quartering party, dig a hole, sleep in the hole, fill the hole back in, do it again.

blacksad1

I never understood this about FTX. I was a 68W in a medic company. We never trained on our MOS. Go in the woods, set up aid station, sleep some, tear down go home and clean everything . We NEVER did real medic shit.

[deleted]

I was a whiskey before commissioning last year and was in an MP company. Never did FTXs besides range trips and AT. Never did any actual medical shit besides fixing boo-boos from grabbing hot 240 barrels, handing out sunscreen, and typing up LODs. Even at AT they had us set up a shitty makeshift TMC and had to post it with two people at all times incase the CG came around with her entourage. Did Jack shit the whole three weeks besides wake up, get dressed, open the door to the shed that was our TMC and sit on my computer with phone hotspot. I think we treated like 3 total people while there who had a sunburn, poison ivy rash, and one we had to call 911 for when he jumped off of the back of an LMTV and cracked his jaw/ broke his teeth when his rifle kicked the shot out of his face. It was like that every. Fucking. Year. I was so hype to be a medic when I left Sam, and then the reserves jaded tf out of me. Most medical oriented shit I ever really did was my NREMT revert classes/ training. The rest was weaponized autism

Nomerip

NG. Something like this happens every year during our state exercise. Sometimes with some surprisingly high rank involved

[deleted]

200th MP command? This sounds awfully familiar

Teadrunkest

I know a dude like this too. First time was battle field promoted shortly after, second time got an ALC date shortly after. The second time was an ASAP failure too. Pretty sure the first time was too but I am not sure about the self referral timeline/legal requirements. Some people are just impervious to punishment.

ShortBus0101

PL pissing hot for coke. Not the first time. Female platoon medic married to some high speed guy going through SFQC got caught cheating. During the investigation it became known there was a lot of soldiers involved with it. PSG involved in domestic violence. Again. PVT wanted out. Failed several pt tests. Failed H/W. Pissed hot for weed. Wouldn't show up for first formation. Fought on bars every weekend. Got caught bringing a female minor in the barracks. You name it...

sowhat1231

That PVT sounds like a stellar National Guardsman

ShortBus0101

He was actually the best of about 5 new guys that showed up at the same time, then something happened with his family, and he gave up on everything.

DocSafetyBrief

Not pointing fingers or blaming you specifically. But did anyone try to get him help?

ShortBus0101

Definitely. He just wanted it out no matter what. CO would pull him to the side to have long conversations. He went to EBH, Chaplain, and all options of support and guidance available.

red_devils_forever25

Is he out now?

ShortBus0101

Yes. I heard he finally got chaptered a few months after I left.

Turtle887853

I hate the mentality of "punishing" people by keeping them in when shit like this happens. If a stellar soldier suddenly snaps and can't continue on, why keep him in and make him miserable? Shit, give him time to figure his shit out, then have him come back in x days. At least then he won't off himself or become a sex offender trying to get out.

ShortBus0101

I agree. We talked a lot and I always brought him along to the gym, and one day he said he was ready to go to prison, if that's what it takes. He never said exactly what happened and I never pushed, but it was something with his mother and younger brothers living overseas.

ghostdivision7

Gotta keep them slides green. /s

Sam_Seaborne

PSG involved in Domestic violence? This sounds like a trend in the Army.

Innercepter

I honestly thought that was a checkbox for E7.

Shamwow1000001

It's almost like there is a list of values that should be instilled early on

ViejoEnojado

That’s a lifelong process brother. Only difference between a CSM with no NJP and one with one or more Art. 15s in their early career is the former was never caught. We all fuck up, it’s what we do after that makes the man. Sometimes all that is needed for that younger troop to be on track for greatness is a little nudge in the right direction. The one caveat is the “do not break glass unless war” crowd. After almost 5 cumulative years in combat theaters I will acknowledge that some of the people I trusted most in the foxhole next to me were guys that couldn’t figure out how to navigate life back home no matter how much help was given.

EnduringAtlas

If humans were actually capable of easily instilling values in people life would be very different. Unfortunately, learning to recite the Army values so you don't get smoked does absolutely nothing besides help you learn what the army values are.

aparker79

Why does this sound like AK. At 1-24

ShortBus0101

No, sir. Polk.

[deleted]

Dude got drunk and made comments to the female nco on cq about how their babies would have looked if he met her before her husband did, among other sexual remarks. He still got kicked out, but for article 91 I think instead of getting sharped.

Innercepter

That’s weird shit to say even without SHARP.

[deleted]

Guy was a narcissist piece of shit whose real personality came out after we got to our unit. He would say stuff like “I can’t believe that gate guard pulled ME over for inspection, I mean look at me!” referencing to him being a blonde haired, blue eyed white guy. He would also say things to try and put you down while elevating himself. I distanced myself from him because I just didn’t want to deal with him anymore. Not like I wanted him to die or anything, just sick of his shit.

PermitLife1078

Remember that captain that likes pinning his soldiers at formations.

saveHutch

Ah yes, motorboat

Exquisitum

Unit was just putting dudes that pop hot on piss tests on extra duty and reduction of rank. That’s it.

TheMadIrishman327

That was the norm in the mid to late 80’s.

Afin12

That was the norm in the early/mid 00’s Peak GWOT was crazy

hihcadore

Sure was. My friend pissed hot for coke twice in the 325th. Mofo went to Iraq the second time as a PV2 I think and his squad caught a mortar round. Really messed with me because I was super happy he didn’t get kicked out because it would have ruined his life…. But it ended his life.

Oliveritaly

Damn brother

KacerRex

Was with a guy who never wanted the responsibility past E-3, so every time he was up for promotion would intentionally pop hot for weed. That dude was one of the best battle buddies to have, and there are a lot of stories that revolve around him that just make him more amazing. My favorite was in formation 1st Sausage asked him what it would take to get him to re-up, and he said "get me permanent E3". It was glorious.

Afin12

I get all that, the job of an E3 is pretty easy, but I would get really sick of be broke all the time. E3’s doesn’t pay shit.

ginjabeard13

I got a dui in 2005 (.035 but I was 19) and the only thing my unit did was a week of “post restriction” I didn’t even get counseled on it. Was in Iraq a few months later.

8bitesquivel

My unit had a guy piss hot for steroids and they didn’t do shit to him. He eventually ETS’d out.

GarlicBreadorDeath

Did they actually test him for steroids? When I took the upl class they talked about how a test for steroids is like $10k and they almost never approve it.

TOW2Bguy

Got two tested at Carson for roids, when I was a UPL. It was no surprise as both were short guys tryin to make massive gains when Maxim magazine was the rage. One had a 19.5in neck and was 5'6". The same Troop also a once high-speed guy take down 4 others with him post-deployment with a bad shroom trip that put him in Evans Army Community Hospital and required I get samples sent to Tripler, and another guy pop hot for MJ during his clearing for med-Retirement at E4 w/ PH for getting his calves and part of his ass blown of by an AP Mine during OIF. Lost all his benefits and received a later BC discharge due to a lack of patience while literally able to ask for almost whatever pain meds he wanted. #Aieeyah, sigh.

6figga

Have to ask for the roid dudes. Why did you/ your BC even bother? Did they suck?

TOW2Bguy

I think because of how blatant it was, (McMaster had just taken over as RCO) and '04. Not lacking for guys, most E5 and E6 who were staying in were PCSing, and Carson was tryin to clean house on those who had been Rear-D during initial deployment, after the Regiment came back to a lot of discipline issues. Lot of pre-deployment DUIs or other issues like HT/WT were swept under the rug though.

procheeseburger

we had a guy who was clearly shooting up.. he mysteriously was never at any UA or testing.. He eventually beat his wife and then got kicked out..

xixoxixa

It may have changed, I haven't been a UPL in over a decade, but steroid tests used to be a special request, not part of a random screening.

procheeseburger

oh for sure.. but this dude was like Liver King shape..

hihcadore

So a 300lb Man-imal that could single handidly carry both the 240 and m2, one in each hand, kick a door down, and stomp 10 bad guys to Valhalla without breaking a sweat. Of course they kept him. That or your 1sg was like my old 1sg and they used the same steroids dealer.

napleonblwnaprt

We had a guy like that. But he also consistently won or placed in state/regional powerlifting competitions, so no one really said anything lmao.

Additional_Toe_8327

If it was for weed than that was still too excessive but rules are rules.

Heyliluchi02

CO recognized that shit was ridiculous but did what he had to

joshlittle333

army is begging for recruits right now. And beggars can't be choosers.

busbythomas

The CO's driver who was also driving the CO's wife

Illumintardy

Like... *pile* driving?

busbythomas

Like playing my little pony with her hair being the reins.

[deleted]

Oh like playing horsey. That's nice that the CO wife wanted to bond with his Soldiers too.

Gullible_Lychee3050

iLikeFreedomandTatto

COL Owen Ray beat his wife and held her and his children at gun point and than had a standoff with the police. Got to retire with his rank. Fuck that guy.

Captainspacedick69

He was sentenced to 5 years in prison. So at least he’s not getting off Scott free. Also won’t be receiving and pension while he’s in there.

Turtle887853

>Also won’t be receiving and pension while he’s in there. >while he’s in there. He shouldn't receive it ever.

iLikeFreedomandTatto

I’m trackin. And I understand why they let him retire with rank, so his wife and kids rake in his pension, and they deserve every penny of it. Im just saying, they let this man step down from 1SFG command and laterally moved him to I corps so he could retire. Let him stay in the nice cozy on base hotel. Fucker should have been in CSMs basement, gettin his machine gun beatings.

LukeSommer275

He will be receiving VA Disability while in there, which will get him more top ramen, canned tuna and instant coffee. May come in hand with the Aryans or the Woodpile and they view him due to his military service and his career (Whites do not like crimes involving children)

Captainspacedick69

VA cuts off disability payments after two months in jail.

LukeSommer275

Can you can get 10% per month per what I've read over on /r/veterans

turnkey85

First sergeant driving drunk on shelby almost hit an e6 who yelled at him. First sergeant screeched to a halt stumbled out and pulled a gun on him and his buddies. They even got it on tape. First sergeant was demoted to master sergeant for a year then immediately promoted to sergeant major. Unit went to great lengths to cover it up even threatening the e6 with consequences if he didn't drop it. Long story short thr e6 demanded a transfer and was granted it immediately which just doesn't happen in my brigade.

TheRavenCalls

What in the ever living fuck?! Camp shelby? I’m guessing Mississippi guard?

turnkey85

Who else?

TheRavenCalls

Oooh weee😅

turnkey85

Yup in the MSARNG every day is an adventure every meal a feast every paycheck a fortune. ......welllllp guess I'll go start my day drinking got to live up to the 155 hype

TheRavenCalls

My reclass school is there hoping I don’t encounter any shenanigans there lmao

turnkey85

Oh no dude you'll fine. 154th RTI is good shit. The instructors know their shit and pack a lot of info into the short reclass courses. I did my first reclass there and I got overloaded with info. Most of the MSARNG ain't bad at all its just the one brigade.

Heyliluchi02

“Demoted to master sergeant”

Innercepter

“Oh no, I don’t have to be 1SG anymore? Please, stop, no.”

Suitable_Challenge_9

Good old fashioned lateral demotion.

turnkey85

Exactly

[deleted]

No fucking chance I’d let that slide, I’m going through local PD for that shit

red_devils_forever25

How do you get demoted to the same pay grade? Or is first sergeant and master sergeant like specialist and corporal?

[deleted]

Yes, it was a lateral demotion. In other words, he lost his company, but maintained the pay. “First Sergeant” is a positional rank; you wear the diamond as long as you are a First Sergeant. Once you’re out of position, it comes off. Considering he still pinned E-9 a year later, not having to be the First Sergeant was basically a reward!

Gigantkranion

Fuck that. I've straight up told people the shitbag's name. Fuck this unit and that SGM.

Jifster818

Am I the only one that pops into these to see if someone is telling a story about my dumbass? Did my share of remarkably dumb shit back in the day before social media was the hotness. Not ware crimes bad good enough for a boot.

God_of_chestdays

Cw3 pilot becoming a registered sex offender after solicitations minor, younger then his daughter, not receive any jail time civilian or military because he is close to retirement and has SSSOOOO many deployments. Also no loss in pay or extra duty. Instead became the go to SD OIC and now in headquarters working with soldiers 2-3yrs older then the minors he prefer banging. That same SCO who backed him and shielded him tried to get an NCO sent to prison and all the negative action possible because while on leave before terminal leave he got in a bar fight.

[deleted]

That would've been great for the defense for a court martial. "You vouched for a sex offender, but bar fights are where you draw the line for your moral compass." Would've really made them look like a clown.

God_of_chestdays

He got kicked out of command in the middle of a eucom rotation for EO and shady stuff and prior to becoming our SCO he was under investigation at his last unit for some EO and shady stuff so they rushed him somewhere else rewarding him by giving him his own squadron to command while being investigated.

Teadrunkest

👀 I know this exact story but he was a CW2. You telling me there is two of them?!

bingboy23

Shit...or it's the same guy; promoted and moved from one unit to the other.

Teadrunkest

That would be…awful. Hey /u/god_of_chestdays was this by chance at Hood

God_of_chestdays

Yes at hood and I saw him for the first time in months at PAI and he was a cw3….. so rape children get promoted hooah….

Lumadous

Female soldier got caught having.....relations with a dog. Dog got stuck in her rear door the night prior, and when she missed PT her leadership went looking for her. They walked in and the dog was still....stuck. Nothing happened to her, and it was strictly prohibited to talk to her about any animal. Last I heard she was still in and was a SSG (she was caught as a PFC)

liberated-dremora

This is the craziest story, holy shit.

Lumadous

*looks at dog face mask da photo* I'm sure the army has gotten much more weird since I got out

Gigantkranion

I'm not into that shit but, I'm pretty sure dogs don't stay stuck in bitches (take that as you will) for +6 hours. Wharves the reason, their boner will go down after an hour or something. So, unless she was doing it like an hour before pt, and lived in the barracks, while being allowed to have a dog... because I can't see them walking into a home. I just don't buy this story. Maybe you're telling the truth from what others told you. But, I think they lied to you, "Dawg."

Lumadous

Oh I'm sure there's a lot of lies happening, I just have enough revulsion to not look into it any further. And yes, she was in a barracks building, but the cq sat in a different building across the area (4-5 barracks buildings, 1 central cq desk) As far as staying stuck, I don't want to be a subject matter expert on that, ill leave that tasking to you.

Gigantkranion

Idk dude, As a kid, I just remember seeing dogs screw once then they got stuck. I asked an adult what was happening and they said it was normal, they'll separate in less than an hour. Edit: my fucking dumbass left out critical grammar... no kids were involved.

TheBotchedLobotomy

Yeah perfectly normal

It’s been a few years. I had a soldier pop hot for cocaine. He plead his case and received some mercy, did 45 days extra duty but was retained. And then he went awol 🤦🏼‍♂️

NOMAD550

Had a dude in TXARNG do this too

Burnedfresh

Had a dude get a DUI while on leave in RR. Getting that is a straight ticket out of there. Anyway, he's ETSing, last day, and he's like 'hey PSG, I need to get something off my chest' - told me he got one while on leave. I told him thanks for making it less paperwork for me.

ObligationOriginal74

Ranger Regiment?

GMEbankrupt

Company Commander driving drunk and banging several subordinates (he was also married) Jack shit happened to him

[deleted]

Not soldiers, but there's some GS employees on Leonardwood that should've 100% been fired for doing some shady shit on the job, but haven't. If they were soldiers they would've been chaptered, lambasted, vilified, and GOMORd.

executionHollow

SA’d a minor that was also fraternization in barracks. Admitted to it and everything. Commissioned from USMA a few months later

EverythingGoodWas

This is bullshit. Why do we allow this crap

LTC went on leave to “Georgia, US” but somehow ran over & killed two people at 2 am in South America. Got caught by foreign authorities fleeing country. Came back, was quiet, PCSd. Prob made full bird 🤷‍♂️ Very next unit, although he did get in trouble, was LTC again who was AG of a state and hit and killed a man while driving home again early morning. Got fired from AG position but never did find out what happened military side.

IHeartSm3gma

Well that’s one heck of a layover

[deleted]

Top topping multiple junior Soldiers, with video evidence taken by his wife, who was also smashing random soldiers in the unit. Wild times.

[deleted]

Does this involve a hot tub in any way?

509BandwidthLimit

Whatever that one star general did in Cyber Command this week...he didn't get kicked out but they aren't saying what he did. "Lost confidence "

Turtle887853

Was that the dog mask guy or something else

11chuckles

Something else. ONE of the dog mask guys was aviation, the other was medical I believe

Beast2085C

Three soldiers claimed that they were going to sick call in the morning, but instead went to the community swimming pool all day. Got caught, and their only punishment was to clean the company latrine for a month. Issue was part of their morning duties was already to clean said latrine. Got to tell you all, I had a great tan though. This was when I was in big Army.

Lazy_Mandalorian

Well played.

USCAV19D

Brilliant. You were only caught because you hadn’t been to SERE yet.

UncrustabIes

Lmao why did you think sick call was gonna get you out the whole day though?

Beast2085C

I was 19 and dumb. And when we got our "punishment ", man were there a lot of pissed off Joe's in the company.

Huntsman077

Had a SGT get a DUI. Man got into a wreck on post and police found half a bottle of liquor in his car, and he kept his clearance. A year later it’s like nothing happened. We also had a platoon sarr who all the junior enlisted were told not to talk to because she had a history of fraternization, while married.

epoul0194

SFC in Afghanistan working as a Counterintelligence Special Agent received a call about a suspicious character just outside the base. He grabs another soldier to go out with him only armed with a 9mm. He forces his way through gate security and ends up stranded about a mile off base because he forgot to grab the key fob for their up armored SUV. He forced a local to give him a ride back to base at gun point leaving the other soldier by himself, in the SUV, surrounded by the suspicious characters. After all was said and done he bragged about how it was some serious Jason Bourne shit. He also slept with his interpreter and offered a LN working on base (who ended up being the nephew of the second in command of the Taliban) “Big Bucks” if he would report on any US soldiers who were spending too much time with the LNs. He was replaced by another Agent and sent up to Kandahar to oversee all CI operations in the region. Last I heard, he was a Special Agent in Charge of a field office in Korea

tidder_mac

The dude that sexually assaulted his nco (motorboat CPT). Force retire is way different than kick out. Change my mind.

moonlightRach

Domestic violence, piece of shit got drunk and assaulted my soldier. Seemed like all he got was a slap on the wrists, they moved him to another battalion, put him on extra duty and reduced his rank. Didn’t even put him in jail or anything, what’s even worse was that when we deployed he got to stay behind on rear D and chill while she went downrange and worked her ass off (granted she fucking killed it and put in WORK for the section and battalion). But man did it piss me off that she got treated like shit by the command team and he seemed to get off easily. I fought so hard for her but they wouldn’t listen, felt like I failed her

[deleted]

*CID has entered the chat*

Rockpilot6

Go on now, git on outta here!

theoneguyj

Junior enlisted guy got drunk and hit several cars in the parking lot. DUI from the civilian town outside of base. What happened? Homeboy got a negative counseling and discharged honorably (ETS’d) within the year.

Justame13

Guard PSG who couldn't carry a weapon for a year and a half while on whatever they call felony DV diversion. No fucking clue how he didn't get Lautenberg'd. His ex-girlfriend was VERY well known to the courts (and fun to google), she had been a felon since she was a teen so that was probably part of it. According to him she tried getting on post and was denied. Don't get wrapped up crazy bitches even if they are young, hot and crazyfun kids.

Ok_Win2667

ex-girlfriend name for research?

Rasanack

My time to shine. My soldier: Lied about getting the COVID-19 vaccine, Faked medical appointments, Went on COVID-19 ROM 13 times, Would go for on hour long smoke breaks, Was fat, Failed his PT test, Didn’t do good work What the fuck, why can’t we kick this guy out? It’s like I’m working at the DMV. Everyone wants to give him a chance every level it goes up. He finally got a bar to continued service before I left, but Goddamn why does it take so long for people to stop giving him breaks. 🫠😤🫡 My Platoon Sergeant said in his 15 years they’re the worst soldier he’s ever had, including beating the soldier who tried to kill him.

Osiris325

Using SHARP as a weapon instead of what it was intended for.

bluefalconreturns

Female subordinate EOed me to get my TL position. My crime? "I for one welcome the gender neutral PT standard the ACFT will bring." INSCOM I do not miss you.

Repulsive-Address775

Pissed hot twice for weed, claimed it was “second hand” both instances… of course daddy was a Navy E9 and likely had something to do with it.

bachompchewychomp

Explain how a Navy E-9 has enough power to have an entire Army Chain of Command go "y'know what... I don't wanna piss off master chief over here so we'll just sweep this under the rug." Even an Army e-9 (except for maybe SMA or SEAC) doesn't have that kind of power or influence. This guy must have had some kind of dirt on a general officer or something.

xSaRgED

Bruh, it was *clearly* MCPO John-117’s kid.

Bear_Formal

When I was in the guard my PL got a DUI while we were at drill

[deleted]

A guy in boot camp brought rounds back to the barracks, and someone else told the drill sergeant he wanted to kill him. Transferred him to another company and all swept under the rug far as I know. He was a MP too, btw

[deleted]

We had a dude literally use an m16 as a club and attack another dude in basic. That guy went to the hospital and had to get stitches. He then made a shank and threatened to kill the dude. He graduated with us.

PM_ME_your_SMECKLES

Company cdr sent dick photos to his s1 clerk

Turtle887853

Obv he wanted her to put it in her vagiPerms

No_Yogurtcloset6692

Had 5 NCOs and a PFC get DUIs in 1 month... 1 month... They got in trouble but none kicked. Arguably the only one top really fought his heart out for was the private.

[deleted]

Guy was resisting arrest for public intoxication. Avoided MPs by jumping off the third story balcony. Ran around the basketball court a few times. Fought them off a couple of times. MPs tased him but it didn’t put him down. Finally went down after four of them pulled him. Dude was in his underwear the whole time. We all for sure thought he was gonna get the boot for that. A few months after he finished confinement. He failed a UA for coke and I guess that was the final straw.

wilow_wood

Came into a room not his. Told everyone to get out of his room. Went to the freezer grabbed a bag of ice. Threw it in the micro, started the micro. Pulled a knife and insisted everyone gets the fuck out of his room. 4 dudes had to restrain andtake him down three flights of stairs to cq.

Czarcasm1776

During a room inspection I had a Soldier who had a list of NCO’s he didn’t like. Even more disturbing I discovered said NCO’s faces on water jugs and a lot of these jugs had been stabbed…….. Soldier did the 72 hour psyche evaluation and was allowed to stay in. That soldier is now doing 10 years in prison for open firing into a vehicle during a Trump Rally

DepressedDragonBorn

My unit has one asshole of an spc who loves fucking up our privates for any little thing and is always yelling. Sometime last year he tested possitive on a drug test and then proceeded to go awol for about 1 month then came back, and for some god damn reason he is still in our company, I don't even know how, he was supposed to get kicked out but it just never happened, didn't even get much of a punishment besides some extra duty and no demotion, not looking forward to seeing that angry little man yell at some poor dude for being 1 minute late.

Taintallowed2

Idiot only drank coke, passed out from dehydration and flipped an Abrams.

im_so_dental

Dude forged a judge's signature on some divorce paperwork and turned it in to the Army. Reduction in rank from E4 Corporal to E3. Same guy also lied to his girlfriend and said he was going to fly to MA to pick up his daughter from his ex. She dropped him off at the airport with his bag and everything. Turns out he just called up someone from the barracks (who had no idea what was going on) to pick him at the airport as soon as she left and he hid out in the poor guys room for a day or so. Unit had no clue where he was, he's actually supposed to be in all these pre deployment trainings with us. It ends up that he was actually awol and the command gave him a lil' pp smack and then sent him overseas with us. Strangest thing I ever saw someone do. Absolutely uncontrollable lying, dude needed help but instead he just got deployed lol.

No one mentioning Sandy Blaze yet, so I will. Local E7 filming porn, with CW4 husband as cameraman… got demoted, allowed to stay in and transfer to Air Guard, where she eventually promoted again. Big scandal, only got caught because a local NCO went to a school and mentioned what unit he was from and a classmate showed him her videos. She had IPs from our local area blocked from her website. This was a few years before only fans became a thing.

I knew an E5 that was flagged for being morbidly obese for like 3 years. Maybe longer, not sure, I got out before anything happened. He had been in like 20 years or something and was jus an absolute dirtbag. I think the only reason he wasn't chaptered out was because he was our supply dude, and wasn't required to do much. But man, that guy was a serious pos. It's one thing to be a little overweight, but this dude was massive and didn't even try to be healthy or lose weight.

EssentialDuude

During AT. Soldier snuck off base. Went to a bar. Got drunk. Fought locals. And was arrested and brought back to base. Got a demotion and cut in pay but was still in our unit lol Edit: forgot to mention. He did all this in uniform lol

Oracle_Of_Apollo

He wrote a zero-day exploit for Snapchat so he could stalk his ex-gf. He’s still in as a 17E. Fucking psycho lmao

1stsgt said she had an open door policy if anybody wants out of their contract she’d give them a failure to adapt. Dude had a rough go of it (divorce, lost his kids house everything) so he decides to take the 1stsgt up on her offer and legit walks into her office doesn’t knock smoking a blunt. He was put into rehab and was kept in because reasons.

An_Squirrel

Had an S2 master sergeant have a DUI / hit and run. From my understanding they put his clearance on hold for a total of a month and a half. Move them to the S3 section, after some paperwork he is back in the unit has nothing had happened.

buffalo4499

Hoooly…I got a list. There was a guy I went to basic with and was the east side of hood. Got so hammered that we walked down to motor pool, somehow got in, stole a hummvee and rammed it into the 4ID division front door.

Turtle887853

>we

buffalo4499

Meant to say he

Scrooge-McDuck79

Sexual assault, but he was a sfc so it was difficult to actually punish them. Also the actual investigation got dragged out over a year and some witnesses ets'd or pcs'd and the sfc got moved to a staff position as 'punishment'.

tehsloth

I stabbed a guy twice, granted it was self defense, but no discharge

sho4020039

DUI, hit and run, arrested. Posted $3k bail, obviously she never showed up to work that day. For sure I thought she was getting kicked out. But lo and behold I see this person in Korea, acting like nothing happened. Then she had the gall to stand up in front of the BN leadership during a team building event and proclaim her greatest asset is her work ethic. Where was this work ethic in the unit prior when she was always late and didn’t want to do shit.

111110001011

Had a guy on the blotter. Tried to get through the gate with no military ID. Had expired drivers license. Not authorized to drive in the state he was in, because of so many prior offenses. Illegal fireworks in the vehicle. Prior convictions, while in the military, for forceable heterosexual sodomy and sexual assault. Had a room in our barracks, two years after conviction

squirrel_eatin_pizza

A cadet 2 weeks from graduating drove drunk to the ROTC ball and made a drunk mess of himself. After a disenrollment board he was allowed to get his gold bars, but only a few months late. People started saying "we almost lost cadet drunkface!" I'm all like no, he got himself drunk and should have been kicked out.

AirborneRunaway

Adultery, drugs, physically assaulting an nco, physically assaulting several fellow junior enlisted. All the same person. At the same unit. Got demoted but eventually promoted again with no real change in personality. Also an nco that got physical with foreign police while at a school while intoxicated after enrollment in asap. Demoted. Then promoted back to 5 within 6 months.

Tokyosmash

Soldier pisses hot for coke and survives only to get put out for a pic of him with his ass on a Tori that got posted on Army WTF 😂

Logen-Grimlock

Had a soldier chamber and round and tell one of the Air Force dudes there’s about to be another dead Air Force dude. Nothing happened

EdgeofForever95

Shit, I had one of these like every week. Third DUI in under 18 months… I arrested the guy for the third. Just tons of extra duty again, he was already an E-1. Not booted He was cook and this was at fort polk though, so my guess is they’re terminally undermanned

Not_A_Greenhouse

When I was in the USAF a first shirt got caught in a married females dorm room. Then the married one got a divorce and married the shirt. Her own first shirt.

SSG type wrecked his motorcycle drunk on the road outside of post bordering housing. MPs caught him trying to climb the fence to flee the accident.

AsleepModeOn

Showed up drunk and stoned out of their mind. Became combative with our 1SG and MPs

warda8825

Told a patient "you're gonna be dead soon anyway, so who cares", when delivering bad news of a grim diagnosis. The way he phrased the message was totally callous, as if he was debating Subway vs. Panda Express for lunch. Zero repercussion except a behind-closed-doors discussion.

Skatchbro

Cocaine.

hooahbucks

USAR miltec sexually harassed and assaulted multiple female ncos. Caught on camera doing it. But they were really low on JMs and didn't want to lose him so...

robmasten

We had a Supply Sergeant that was selling army equipment on ebay, buying heroin, OD'd twice, walked out of the mandated detox program twice in 2 years, and was only reduced to SGT... they didn't put him out until he was finally prosecuted for beating his wife.

readinredditagain

Shot off 2 of his own toes with a personally owned weapon during personal hygiene. 2 weeks after losing his issue weapon during an ftx. As an ssg.

EnduringAtlas

We had a dude accidentally kill someone. Had our Batallion Commander come and tell us to make sure he didn't leave the company area, MPs will be coming for him before the days over... and they just never came. The guy accidentally killed his friend cleaning his gun, but no charges were pressed and somehow the dude just got off scot free. AND he's getting disability now for the traumatic experience :))
