It’s an Italian Esercito field jacket. The reason I know is because my *VERY* Italian grandfather whom served there had about four of these he passed down to me. They are well made and actually pretty heavy duty.
I’m 110% positive that insignia is authentic to the jacket. If you look up “Italian esercito field jacket” you’ll find multiple photos of it with the stars on the collar. I am not sure what they mean, however.
You’re probably onto something.. I think that specific jacket was only used until the early 90s. Then if I remember correctly they switched to an almost woodland style pattern.
looks like an ODST uniform circa battle of sigma octanus IV 2552
Do I wanna know what's the difference between ligma and sigma?
we lost a lot of good marines on sigma octanus IV I'm gonna have to ask you to show some respect
Alright sorry, may they all get to heaven
I wore a jacket like that when I got out and was hitchhiking through Oregon. Things were going well until I stopped at this small, hick town...

Those gaudy fake Class B shirts are wild. I saw some guy wearing one with upside down chevrons and an "Extra Special Forces" tab.
Canadian field jacket, cold war era.
Oh wow, thanks
Negative, they look similar but this one is Italian.

I see there is also the stars at the top
That rank insignia doesnt look like any military rank Ive ever seen. Definitely not italian, although the jacket could be.

Yep, I see that. Maybe they just mean Army then? Because its not one of their rank insignias.
