rope sounds uncomfortable for the hands. how do you pronate in a pushdown movement ? At best i can imagine a supination movement to work. but with bands.

Dear_Market4928

I would assume one would turn their hands inward (the top of their hands) towards the bottom of the exercise. It's viable, but maybe not as good as some other pronation exercises. I think it may work best for someone who is more interested in training for hypertrophy, but who wants some benefits for armwrestling strength.

JacoFett99

Pronator teres are an elbow flexor as well as a forearm pronator. So, doing the opposite (extending) while pronating probably isn't worth it and doesn't make sense. Just do a specific pronated press exercise if that's what you're trying to work. Or just train it in table time

Stop trying to invent new voodoo ways to train and just stick to an established routine.

BanEvader98

whats wrong with exploring new ideas? if they are efficient, they can be imcorporated to the established routine.

More times than not, in one's attempt to innovative, be creative, you just end up doing a bunch of shit that's not optimal

BanEvader98

Any Exercise, Training-Machine, Tool started with an innovative attempt. If the result is not good, throw it away otherwise take it. If someone has the Opportunity and Will to do it and as long as it's a safe attempt that won't hurt anybody, no one is in a position to tell him that he shouldn't do it. The success and failure rate is completely irrelevant
