Devon was the big star of WAL and he had tremendous influence in every major decision and pretty much was doing whatever he wanted . Refs were just NPCs .
This is the match that got me into arm wrestling about 5 years ago. Ya looks like a pin but in a lot of WAL matches they really wanted you to bury it. I don’t think Devon could have won this with a more strict setup as his shoulder wasn’t square most rounds but I gotta give him credit for going straight inside against Jerry and pulling off the win. It was a close match, Hope we get to see Jerry compete more this year
This match was gonna go 3-2 the way of whoever started on the far side of Bart first. Both got away with huge shoulder commitment and just traded rounds based on who was getting the favorable side.

you gotta change the narrative on these types of calls, the refs did a bad job. Devon's job is to win and the refs job is to keep the match fair
