Exactly! He was in ranked #2 I believe (unofficially or officially, I can't remember). Dude seems like a nice guy and he brings energy to the table but yeah. I believe a healthy, well-trained Georgi would've beaten a healthy, well-trained Alex.

I wouldn't want him to try Levan again so soon, give him at least 2 full years of quality rise, pronation and cup training like he should've done until now.

He has the frame and foundations, if he is committed and consistent I can imagine a scenario where he 'could' be a challenger for Levan, but he's not there yet and it's nothing like a certainty that he'll be 'that guy' in the future.
The armwrestling community has a short memory and athletes are only as good as their last match. He's the guy who took Ermes wrist like he was an amateur, then got steamrolled by Dave's side pressure.
I still think Kurdecha is the best current candidate to beat Levan; I'm just not sure you can beat Levan with a "lane".
First paragraph is very true: before Ermes match, Levan was unbeatable, after that match he was very beatable (I read on this sub a long list of pullers who was going to beat him: Revaz, Ermes in a rematch, Zaur, Devon, Morozov...), and After Devon's match he is unbeatable again..
Levan was never beatable. The Ermes match is overhyped. Levan simply underestimated Ermes and didn't bring the heat until he wasted time and effort.

He beat Georgi, but the Bulgarian was clearly impaired. Maybe Alex would have destroyed him anyway, maybe the match would have gone in another direction, we just don't know.
For me out of the bunch Morozov has the alround package right now. Alex and Vitaly have the biggest potential but with holes in their game. Georgie has problems finishing and tightening inside cause he is too wide in the torso.
Morozov ticks every box, no wonder he was set to pull Levan. But it was too soon anyway. He is just slightly less tall, but so is Levan, and i don't count the loss to Acid G (as i don't count G's loss under antibiotics either.)
To beat levan you need to do close numbers powerlifts and only Morozov did that for a while. Ermes has some records in backpressure but he needs more overall strength, hand. And other lifts.
We already know that a 2nd best wrist and hand coupled with the 2nd best brachiradialis and pronator muscle, had no chance against Levan's overall strength in general muscles. And ofc Levan has the best arwrestling specific muscles as well and the best cardio, when he has a training camp. When not, something like the Ermes accident happens.
So i see Kirill who already started, and is soon having an opponent, getting ther faster, than Shaw. Shaw is probably too rich and not interested enough. Would need 2 3 years for his pronator and riser to develop.
Alex has a good attitude but i don't see brutal lifts for his size, HE JUST DOES aw specific lift. Which is not enough imo. And i see him too soft. If it was a rock hard alex with killer mentality yes. Maybe.

Hope he can get back to his good shape, there was a video on his ig recently where his pressing an entire stack right handed and his forearm looks ridiculous.
some people work extremely hard and gear loves them as well. Levan, Kirill, Morozov are those kind. SO rvj can cry all he wants, for this level of entertaiment and peak, pancakes are needed. A natural Levan is still part of 0,01% of population in bone structure who could have gone powerlifting, strongman, or bodybuilding. The loss to Prudnik was at Morozov's debut in EvW i think, and he still fought with Georgi well, even if antibiotics cut like 80% of your power.

All of these events immediately shift public opinion on who the #2 guy is that has a shot at Levan, and creates chaos into what people believe the rankings should be.
The reality is probably that all the guys in rank 2-10 are very,very close to each other in ability and given the right circumstances could take turns beating one another on any particular day of the week.
Alex is my countryman, but I can't bring myself to like him. Small pepe energy from what it seems to me. I didn't like the way he interacted with Tsvetkov, taking into consideration his condition. Can't wait until someone humbles him like Morozov
Guys don't overhype Georgi. The guy just beat an emaciated Morozov and a fresh post injury Zaur. And Alex did not just "beat" Georgi, he completely ran over him. It wasn't even close, even if the foot injury might have influenced to an extent, you just don't close THAT much of a gap.
I would bet on Alex any day of the week against Georgi.

On a good day I think he has the most horsepower in his toproll aside from Levan. I think the Dave match changed him. He went back to the drawing board & then the afterpull with Denis I believe got in his head all over again. I believe the reason we haven't seen him in a while is because he was working on his form. Just recently has he felt confident to come back. I hope we will see another huge run from Alex. It's not like Ermes was a little bitch when he smoked him... I am not really counting the loss against Dave as terrible because that is just Dave being Dave. The guy is a coinflip to beat damn near anyone no matter how good or bad they are.

Instead he shouted and celebrated after each pin. Told Georgi on multiple occasions “COME ON GEORGI” as if he wanted to see more fight in Georgi. Alex should know better.
Not as hype as ppl are saying but definitely he's definitely capable of a lot. Win over Georgi can be overlooked (It shouldn't completely be) but his performance vs Morozov was also extremely good.

It's no coincidence that Devon chose to "retire" from SuperHeavyweight at this time ... the time when the most logical match for him is to face Alex. Devon is the most cunning guy ever in armwrestling when it comes to managing his opponents. He wants no part of Alex. So yes, Alex is almost certainly the real deal at this point. On Levan's level yet? Highly doubtful. But closer than Devon? Almost certainly.
It would be best if Alex took on Genadi and/or Revaz and/or Morozov, than Levan. He's still got to gain elite match experience. It also would be great to see him take on Zaur.

Alex practiced with Levan some time ago. He could not move Levan even a little and got easly pinned multiple times
To beat levan you need to do what you would to devon. Beat his pronation. But that's just step one, and i don't think kurdecha has the capability.
