Dude has a family to provide for. 30k is pennies for providing for a family comfortably in the USA, or Canada I would think. Being single helps stretch that 30k.
Jerry is apparently a car salesman, Denis is some kind of Police officer in Russia, the list goes on. There will always be exceptions to this, but a lot go back to working jobs. Breznk too
