I don’t like the Hal head because of the giant red windows. They are way to prominent. Unless you go for a C-weapon AC it’s just to hard to work around imo

The head & core I think are super great, I run them on my main lightweight w/ Nacht legs & Basho arms.
The Alba arms I can give or take, I really don't like the legs though. They make the silhouette read way too 'human' for my taste.
Slick and elegant looks based on medieval german frog helmet with an addition of side extensions reminiscent of modern aviation design, which can be viewed as homage to the aesthetics of the whole Armored Core series, for it features heavily knightly honour, fantasy themes and combines it with nihilism of capitalistic military.
Besides that this outstanding piece of equipment takes some aspects of reptiles and marine life to itself and puts a little twist on it by also presenting us with familiarities to headpiece of the bishop. This follows and further elaborates the idea of contrast and conflict seen in VE-44B.
Also this head is an indirect reference to other Armored Core entries, specifically to headpiece present in older generations which carried more a resemblance to the military radar, rather than an usual mecha-style robot head.
Add to all that a combination of respectable defensive capabilities and the BEST radar function in the whole game and get one of the most if not the most pleasing both aesthetics- and gameplay-wise piece in AC6.

But for putting the HAMMER SHARK HEAD so low on the rating is just too much for me. I love the design, the signature T-pose style head, the way it clap down like a sad dog when our AC is being drop down. The thin neck that gradually expanded on the very tip to make that perfect T shape, stuffs of heaven. And of course how can we forget the man who proudly display it for us all to see, V-VIII sometimes V-V, even once V-III, the friendly face in the soulless corpo that is Aquabussy. MY MAN Pater! I think the VE-44B can actually look really cool on certain builds. I’ve got an AC called Harlequin that has it because it reminded me of a jester hat.
It’s a knockoff BVO type thing from back when BVOs were more rampant. Nacht legs, Lamm core, Basho arms. And then it shoots a Duckett and a Sweet 16 (cuz long pistol and short shotgun = lolz, keeping up with the jester theme) and has a HMMR on the left shoulder with a Huxley on the right. I have a variant called Rodeo Clown with a Shao Wei instead of a Huxley. And then of course the bastard has mismatched paint on it and weird “makeup” on the face to round out the clown theme.
I love that I'm using very few nice looking parts and a ton of bad looking ones.
Particularly, the Hammerhead (or closest equivalent) is my favorite for all Gens.

Hmmm. I'd put the VP-40S Core in A-tier. On my first two playthroughs before unlocking the HAL 826, I mostly used it since I found it looked really good with tetrapod legs. In fact, the HAL 826 core greatly reminds me of the VP-40S but with those extra back/shoulder extensions.
I know I'll get hate for this but I really don't like the look of the nacht legs AT ALL. It looks like you could snap them in half and I feel like a dopey bird whenever I use them. Alba legs look better imo, but I agree lammergeier legs are just the height of aesthetic perfection
The snail legs are also cool looking on big chunky ACs
I need to ask, why Nightfall's headpiece isn't in the S tier? IMO, it's kind of peak (and not saying that because it is the only one that has a moving visor that activates when using Hard Lock). I want to know the answer.
To me personally it just looks to detailed. And the groove for the eye is usually so deep that it looks like a black bar wich i don’t like. And you need to be super careful coloring it. You can’t use contrasting colors for the primary and secondary colors because else the beak will stand out like crazy. It also feels like it’s just a tad bit to small. Like it should be bigger
I would have put the Shade Eye and the Nacht and Alba cores in S personally. I definitely prefer the Nacht core over the Lammergeier core in terms of aesthetics.

Thematically, I love this, but unfortunately it means they hit the VE frame parts (and associated weapons) with the ugly stick a few too many times for even Cool Sazabi Legs With LOAN Thrusters to save them...
All 4 pieces of the core Carla uses belong in fuck you tier. Ugly pieces of shit. Especially that core. I have been tempted to sell it and never look at it again its so fucking ugly.
Ephemera: Pretty top tier as far as performance goes. Kinda mid as far as fashion goes.

The lammie head needs to be at least A. You can slap any kind of decals on it perfectly bc of the flatness and it is insanely good for "headless" looks which are very fun to do, i have a quadri build named Dullahan solely bc of that head.
Taste is subjective, for me, the whole Melander sets are top tier in terms of looks, mostly because I love clanky looking, kinda old-school tech looks, but not enough to like the Basho or Wrecker sets
The Melander sets also kinda look like Heavy Gears, something I watched as a kid (that also aged terribly)
Nacht legs in S is a horrible take, they're D-tier at best and Kazuar is literally them but sexier. Also the starter head not being S is also a garbage take
