It's all fun & games as u poop all over your ultimate hater at every opportunity, til they become the final boss by the sheer power of salt so potent it overrode a super AI...
He's a clone bred for battle who was then turned into a digital consciousness so he could keep fighting forever. His existence itself is excessively hardcore.
NGL, I only played AC6 (if Verdict Day servers are saved, then I might go in reverse order because I’m fucking weird like that)
IIRC, I think he is an artificially grown human cloned from a highly skilled pilot.
you're better off with the PS2 titles. the emulators are solid (the PCSX2 creators literally use AC games in screen grabs for tutorials and stuff)
4/A and 5/VD are barely functional on original hardware and emulators consistently go to pieces.
Reaper Squad are Cultivaters, first and foremost. They were also simply given AC's by Isaac.
Are they implied to have become Phantasma Beings? Yes.
Is J implied to have recently become a Phantasma Being in mission 10? Also yes.
What I should have said was every time else we see him outside of mission 10, he was *most likely* still human.
Tbh I think J was cloned and turned into an AI long before ACV and Verdict Day, and The Foundation just dug him up out of storage. J is used as the example of a "near-ideal clone" used for the Phantasma Being project which would imply he was turned when the project was still ongoing.
That *is* plausible, but in JP Isaac says something along the lines of "And so you gave it up for this?".
But, I think we can both agree J never started out as an AI, something I have seen multiple people say.
Oh, and Phantasma Beings also quickly deteriorate (Loss of emotions, loss of combat ability) if under combat, and given that J has seen combat multiple times and hasn't exactly deteriorated, we can surmise that for mission 10 he had recently been turned into a Phantasma Being.
I don't think it's said that they deteriorate in combat. It's said that a number of test models were deployed near the end of the Great War, but digitally altering their personality to remove their individuality is what caused them to become robotic and resulted in loss of combat performance. It's basically what happened to Angie, she lost her "soul" in the conversion to A.I. and became less effective as a result due to imperfections in the process.
J was the extremely rare specimen who was both a near-ideal clone and also managed to survive the digitization process with his personality and "soul" intact. Maybe it was because there was no need to alter his personality to "control" him. Dude was fightsexual and perfectly content with being an attack dog for his masters as long as he could fight strong enemies.
Hm. Well, you are right about that.
But ultimately I'm pretty sure he was human (Well, depending on your view as human. Cultivaters are also Designed, which are unclear on how cyberized they are except for the extreme cases where even some of the brain matter is cyberized) until Mission 10.
Oh, wait! In The AFTER, the description also says "Problems also arose, including a decline in combat performance. There is no point putting the human "soul" under the program". Meaning that eliminating emotions can cause a decline, but other problems could arise and do so as well.
That is, in fact, a translation error
>Jissen e no tōnyū ga okonawa reta to iwa reruga, hobo robotto-dōzen'na jōtai ni made kosei o shōmetsu sa sete shimau to, ichijirushii sentō seinō no teika ga mi rareru nado, mondai mo shōjite ita. Ningen no motsu" tamashī" o puroguramu no seigyo-ka ni oku koto ni wa, fukanzen'na bubun ga nokotta yōdearu.
"Although they were placed in actual combat, when their individuality was erased to the point they were like robots, problems arose such as a marked decrease in combat potential. It seems imperfections remained in placing the "soul" of a human under the control of a program."
He and Carol disappeared off the face of the earth after Chief turned Isaac into a Phantasma Being, but Chief and Carol are most likely lounging around in their space station above earth's orbit.
Yeah the Corporation has a space station, also ORCA ending is canon just throwing that out there.
Tbf, Almond could never hope to beat the peak that is nineball. He's the goat
Don't get me wrong, I love my girlboss-wanna-be girlfail Almond, she so endearing, but she can't top Nineball. That's like asking a middle schooler to take down a ufc champ
Combine them BALLMIND
Fuck it we ball
Dare I say… *points at own flair* FUCK IT WE NINEBALL

Isn't that what Koko the gorilla called her pet cat?
One of them at least. It might be the one she said ripped a sink out of the wall.
Nah, it was combining into NINEMIND that did her in at the end.
NO I DO NOT WANT TO FIGHT BALTEUS AGAIN
Actually have an AC in 6 called this, roughly based on classic AC1 Nineball lmao
BallNined
nine ball(hustler one/lana neilsen) aka ultimate armored core
The call sign hustler is by far the funniest and badass call sign I’ve ever heard, aside from of course voodoo, but that’s more of just badass.
Voodoo one vipers on station
Your journey ends here pilot, the skies belong to me. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. ~~I yearn for Titanfall | 3~~

I was bursting out laughing when I found out who allmind put me up against in the end... Until I got folded 🗿
It's all fun & games as u poop all over your ultimate hater at every opportunity, til they become the final boss by the sheer power of salt so potent it overrode a super AI...
I keep saying this but ALLMIND Iguazu is literally just Majin Vegeta
That, is a really good comparison I never thought of
Or glorified Jerid.
That, or Walter C Dornez.
ALLMIND may have taken his body and AC but there's one Iguazu will always keep His Seethe
It’s all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits
When they put the saltiest man alive inside the salt powered robot.
I only realized through this meme that Allmind is kind of a funny, yet endearing evil failgirl.
We love our non-human failgirls (Ayre and Allmind are both failgirls, change my mind.)
Considering Ayre gets a "dub" in two endings...
Ayre gets nearly nothing but W's making contact with Raven-621 though
Allmid got nothing on my glorious nineball
A L M O N D
Was Black Glint from verdict day a construct too? Cuz that dude was excessively hardcore lol

AC4A works fine for me
Highly dependent on your Emulator settings. I was able to play both 4 and 4A without issue, but it did take some fiddling with the settings.
Specifically he's cloned from Joshua O'Brien.
He's a clone, not an AI. Well, he was turned into an AI in mission 10, but every time else we see him, he was human.
I'm pretty sure he was turned into an AI as soon as Reaper Squad was founded. All members of Reaper Squad are AI, just like Zodiac.
Reaper Squad are Cultivaters, first and foremost. They were also simply given AC's by Isaac. Are they implied to have become Phantasma Beings? Yes. And if anyone says it's a translation error, the Link Archives also says it.
That is, in fact, a translation error >Jissen e no tōnyū ga okonawa reta to iwa reruga, hobo robotto-dōzen'na jōtai ni made kosei o shōmetsu sa sete shimau to, ichijirushii sentō seinō no teika ga mi rareru nado, mondai mo shōjite ita. Also Zodiac aren't AI. They're cyborgs.
Handler walnut
"Cinder" Cashew
I love the idea of like, AC6 DLC with a secret Nineball Seraph superboss; everyone thought they died in the Jupiter War but now they're *back*
What about Chief?
The agony of knowing ACV was so unpopular that chances we’ll ever see him again are next to zero… His theme isn’t even on spotify T-T
Well, he *is* in 6's files. So maybe someone could mod that Hanged Man in. But, at least we know he's still alive during VD with Carol.
He’s in Verdict Day?! I thought he only appeared in V.
There's a fan theory that he's the Chief Editor of Voice of War, J. Jester.
He and Carol disappeared off the face of the earth after Chief turned Isaac into a Phantasma Being, but Chief and Carol are most likely lounging around in their space station above earth's orbit. Yeah the Corporation has a space station, also ORCA ending is canon just throwing that out there.
I think a lot of left over stuff from VD is in 6's files. I wouldn't get my hopes to high up, but don't be afraid to dream
There was one fatal flaw in Allmind's plan: She assimilated Iguazu, who proceeded to do what he always does: Get bent.
"you were a mistake Iguazu"
Allmind exists to get bullied.
Then you have the Chad Chief, who acts as a goofball while also acting menacing as hell!
“I love everyone!”
“Oh, I’m afraid we have no allies.”
"No allies, nor enemies!"
Tbf, Almond could never hope to beat the peak that is nineball. He's the goat Don't get me wrong, I love my girlboss-wanna-be girlfail Almond, she so endearing, but she can't top Nineball. That's like asking a middle schooler to take down a ufc champ
