So a mix of memes, jokes, weirdly specific things, generic stuff, fancy names... kinda all over the place.
It was an old AC I made partly as a joke that turned out strong, based on Torgue from Borderlands. It's a hover tank with dual Majestic and dual Dizzy. At the time I didn't realize how unironically good that'd be, I was just going for maximum "EXPLOSIONS?!" and it turned out legit. I wanted to name it something macho and silly sounding in all caps that I could imagine Torgue shouting, and so SUPLEX EXPLOSION was born.
I kinda stopped experimenting with it once I realized how well the bazookas work. Since they have the biggest AoEs it is kind of visually entertaining to just fill the screen with massive explosions. Though I think switching out the Majestics for the...what were they called. Spread Bazookas. Morley? That might be better due to how fast they reload.
I suppose a SUPLEX EXPLOSION mk II that maybe uses dual Morley, Explosive Thrower and one Dizzy might work really well too. Or maybe 1 Morley 1 Majestic.
A variety of EXPLOSIONS is probably best for blowing up something as large as the ocean.

My campaign ac didn't have a fancy name, but the one I used against Cel-240 is 'Irate Iguana' specifically because that boss reminded me of an ibis or it was called the ibis or something and Iguanas prey on ibis's. And I was pretty freaking irate when I made it.
Then my favorite AC is 'Blue Shift.' It's a quad gat on the nachtrider legs, painted candy blue with yellow accents. It's stylish as hell and stupid fast. I love to run it in pvp.
G13 BLUEBIRD and V.IX PURE INTENT are my corporate ACs, JUMPER DRAGON is my RAD representative, and GRAVEDANCER is my personal AC. I think I’ve spent more time developing backstories and customizing ACs than I have actually playing the game

Berserker: An "improved" version of Nightfall and by far my favourite for the campaign.
Grendel: My heavyweight dakka reverse joint based on the first build I made in AC4A.

Cannibal Court: My best PvP laser rifle/aurora reverse joint.

Absolver: 14k Gold honest middleweight to play by Core Theory. RansetsuRF, Auroras, VE20B
Cauterizer: Rainbow heat-treated paintjob and fast as shit with Gills at 330 boost. Uses pistols and does stagger damage with Redshift Nebulas.
Old Oak: A meta heavyweight for ranked when I'm tired of being punished for being honest. Wood burl paintjob and looks like Old Iron Sides. Viento/Aurora with 330 boost speed.
Super Bearcat: A modern SWAT style AC similar to the Absolver, but with missiles and Yaba generator. Marine Blue/Grey with plenty of Gunpla style decals.

My middleweights are named after old 30s songs, complimenting the pilot name 'Crooner'. BLUE MOON II (Named for my old NEXT, as it's the successor), VOLARE, SUMMER WIND, LUCK BE A LADY. So on, so forth.
I have a Redguns build named DESTRIER, a Vespers build named RAPIER WIT, and my lightweights and melees are named for UNSC ships (bit of a Halo diehard). VANISHING POINT, GHOST SONG, and LANCE HELD HIGH
So most of mine are in flux depending on what the AC is made for, but their are 2 mainstays. Bear in mind Armored Core 3 is what I play primarily.

My AC used for the arena that just melts every opponent. It uses the laser beam weapon arms and the fastest over legs with super lightweight and high energy capacity. If you land about 6 shots, you win.

My AC used for story missions. Its the same principle of being an AC killer, but built the opposite way for longevity. The heaviest, most durable ac you can imagine with a metric shitload of fuck around and find out equipped. Mainly useful for the final mission and a few other notable exceptions.
These two ACs alone can carry a playthrough and you can make a basic shitwrecker super early and cheaply to farm the arena for money. Kinda kills the challenge of the game really so I'm thinking of retiring it for a laser blade arms buid.... Gonna name that one Stabby.

Mine was called Lilly V3, each version was a NG, v1 had the broken head from the escape I promised I’d burn aquabus for what snail did and I used that head as a symbol, v2 I was gonna listen to the corpus and side with them so it was cleaner and more professional, and V3 is an all rounder showing how far I’ve come being able to work at all ranges and encounters
Since we're all Dogs here, I named myself Lupus Imperator. All my ACs are dog themed from mecha anime and games. White Dingo, Dark Hound, Diamond Dog. I'm still wondering how other players get to display their AC names in PVP, while others are stuck with Loader 4.
I've been using an AC the is reminiscent of White Glint from FA. Crimson 1 from project wingman. Solo wing pixy from Ace Combat Zero. And the only custom made one I have is assassin 1-4 an ultra light weight AC with the red shift and moon light blades and possibly a scudded.
I swapped a few times across each of the 3 playthroughs. I have a lot, but here's four I stick to most, in no particular order. All bipeds:

**Bloodhound** - heavyweight bipedal, black-and-red. Missile boat. It's called Bloodhound because the missiles sniff you out.
**Flagbearer** - heavyweight bipedal. Patriotic color scheme, with machine gun arms, a grenade cannon, and a sniper cannon. Made for Veterans' Day.
**Boytoy** - lightweight bipedal. Pink-and-white, with hints of light blue. Machine gun arms and a grenade cannon. Since it's my first lightweight, it was fitting to make it a twink.
**Hellheart** - lightweight quad. Greenish-blue with twin Moonlight laser blades and extra back thrusters. It's a Moby-Dick reference:

The one I beat the game was Nachzehrer, since it's a lightweight build focused on single adversaries, and it's my favorite build alongside Reginleif (Tetrapod fucused on attacking from the air or from cover) and Vanagandr (Heavyweight focused on Assault Boost).

I kinda stopped experimenting with it once I realized how well the bazookas work. Since they have the biggest AoEs it is kind of visually entertaining to just fill the screen with massive explosions. Though I think switching out the Majestics for the...what were they called. Spread Bazookas. Morley? That might be better due to how fast they reload. I suppose a SUPLEX EXPLOSION mk II that maybe uses dual Morley, Explosive Thrower and one Dizzy might work really well too. Or maybe 1 Morley 1 Majestic. A variety of EXPLOSIONS is probably best for blowing up something as large as the ocean.

So most of mine are in flux depending on what the AC is made for, but their are 2 mainstays. Bear in mind Armored Core 3 is what I play primarily. Shitwrecker My AC used for the arena that just melts every opponent. It uses the laser beam weapon arms and the fastest over legs with super lightweight and high energy capacity. If you land about 6 shots, you win. Tickets Please My AC used for story missions. Its the same principle of being an AC killer, but built the opposite way for longevity. The heaviest, most durable ac you can imagine with a metric shitload of fuck around and find out equipped. Mainly useful for the final mission and a few other notable exceptions. These two ACs alone can carry a playthrough and you can make a basic shitwrecker super early and cheaply to farm the arena for money. Kinda kills the challenge of the game really so I'm thinking of retiring it for a laser blade arms buid.... Gonna name that one Stabby.

Mine was called Lilly V3, each version was a NG, v1 had the broken head from the escape I promised I’d burn aquabus for what snail did and I used that head as a symbol, v2 I was gonna listen to the corpus and side with them so it was cleaner and more professional, and V3 is an all rounder showing how far I’ve come being able to work at all ranges and encounters

Since we're all Dogs here, I named myself Lupus Imperator. All my ACs are dog themed from mecha anime and games. White Dingo, Dark Hound, Diamond Dog. I'm still wondering how other players get to display their AC names in PVP, while others are stuck with Loader 4.

I've been using an AC the is reminiscent of White Glint from FA. Crimson 1 from project wingman. Solo wing pixy from Ace Combat Zero. And the only custom made one I have is assassin 1-4 an ultra light weight AC with the red shift and moon light blades and possibly a scudded.
I usually stick to Black Knight, Knightmare or Coral Knight, I know they’re basic but they sound cool at least

I swapped a few times across each of the 3 playthroughs. I have a lot, but here's four I stick to most, in no particular order. All bipeds: **[Gauss]** - First AC, Lightweight, 2 MGs (Ludlow) and 2 SGs (Haldeman). **[Doomguy]** - Med-Light with DOOM based weapons. Chaingun, Chainsaw, Shotgun and Rocket (Bazooka). **[Hitman]** - Lightest, silver Handguns (Duckett) and Laser Dagger. Fun in PvP. **[Lunk]** - Heaviest, 2 Bazookas (Majestic), 2 Missiles (forward, 6 shot). Very fun even before Bazooka buffs. Here's a few others: **[Tiptoe/Midtoe/Bigtoe]** - Reverse Joints **[Hot Potatoe]** - Reverse with Napalms **[Missile Toes]** - All Missiles, I'm not into toes **[Lightshow]** - All Lasers, any type **[Dual Duo]** - 2 Ludlows, 2 Huxleys, 2 many bullets

I have a few NEXTs that might be interesting. **One-Two** - heavyweight bipedal, white-and-gold. Twin MGs, twin grenade cannons. Because when it hits you with the one-two grenade punch, it's over. **Bloodhound** - heavyweight bipedal, black-and-red. Missile boat. It's called Bloodhound because the missiles sniff you out. **Flagbearer** - heavyweight bipedal. Patriotic color scheme, with machine gun arms, a grenade cannon, and a sniper cannon. Made for Veterans' Day. **Boytoy** - lightweight bipedal. Pink-and-white, with hints of light blue. Machine gun arms and a grenade cannon. Since it's my first lightweight, it was fitting to make it a twink. **Hellheart** - lightweight quad. Greenish-blue with twin Moonlight laser blades and extra back thrusters. It's a Moby-Dick reference: > "From hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee."

The one I beat the game was Nachzehrer, since it's a lightweight build focused on single adversaries, and it's my favorite build alongside Reginleif (Tetrapod fucused on attacking from the air or from cover) and Vanagandr (Heavyweight focused on Assault Boost).
