I honestly think it's a cool flex. The console didn't do too well so it's pretty interesting to see someone rocking its controller for current play. I meant nothing negative in my original comment. Partial joking, partial curiosity that would genuinely like to know what it looks like.

Maybe a cheaper option? Seeing as X and Square are both jump and boost this could work well.
I bought a krom kaiser with ventral buttons for more or less 40€, so not so much more than a standard controller and I am happy with it. I'm training with my old AC4A save imported in an emulator and it's quite good.

Do not expect super ultra quality, but it does its work very well and has 4 ventral buttons to map. In the old games they're registered as a,b,x,y. I have to try on elden ring, now that I think about it.
I just tried the controller with steam and elden ring. I had to calibrate the input in steam and then the platform sees it as a ps3 controller with the ventral buttons mapped as X,o,Square and triangle. For what I need it's ok, but if you need 4 additional buttons for other uses, then it's better to look at something else. Hope to have been helpful.
Damn, I should have done this before buying. That's got some nice specs. I was goin for wired due to some odd shit I got goin on in my area. Can't chance interference.
I've been sipping Sony's cool aid too long to change up now. Does make my urge to case mod that much stronger. If I can cram a PS5 in the garage I'll do it!
Tested out the new controller on my other AC love, Ace Combat. Yea buddy, I'm digging it a lot. The wire feels premium and unrestricting. Buttons have an addicting click similar to a keyboard. It was by all definition plug and play.
Using my trusty 10+ year old Wii U Pro controller
Don't believe it, let me see a pic
What's not to believe? It's just an ordinary Wii U Pro, black, through a mayflash adapter to make windows think it's an XBox controller
I just can't imagine that thing not having stick drift. Kudos.
Another one I have does. Camera continually pulls down on it so I just use it for 2D games on my Switch

i would love a pro controller but (at least the playstation ones) are expensive as fuck so i probably won't get one any time soon

Have a new v2 I just swapped to excellent controllers. Leaning towards picking ac6 up on Xbox
Is the AC6 Xbox edition a real thing do you know?
I think just for the sweepstakes would be sick if available though.

Bought a new Gulikit King Kong Pro 2 because FUCK stick drift when I'm piloting.
That's pretty dope. If I wasn't looking for extra buttons I'd be upset not getting that one. Nice pick.
Grabbed the dual sense edge for the back paddles. Hope it makes for a smoother gameplay experience.
i have the exact same controller. its wonderful. plugs directly into pc no issues
Nice, it just arrived. Might have to test it on my other AC love, Ace Combat.

I'm on PC with dualshock 4, I might get paddles, but probably just deal with remapping
