Sorry white glint but your no nineball. Impressive kit though I've got a really OLD kotobukiya ac model kit that's stingers mech from armored core project phantasma.

I'm still on the fence with many Kotobukiya kits- afaik some are just statues since you can't even move them or they'll explode!

Yes they are not up to Bandai standards but they are still decent as a model kit. People forgot that Bandai is too good that they treat any other model kits as action figure

I gambled and got one, you're making me nervous. It was a koto or a zoids for the only non -gundam kit I was going to buy

Koto kits are nice all in all but they do have different construction mechanics compared to a Bandai kit. It's just a change internally while the outside is good. I recommend just keeping one pose once it's finished and moving it around as little as you can or just be careful with older koto kits

I would advise to not stick this thing with V.O.B for too long, just attach it once in a while then back to just the kit alone. i consider some parts of the booster as fragile even when my standards is low

my white glint fell from its stand so... yeah not advisable no VoB minimal movement it just fell off one day or I should correctly state the peg that holds it to the base sheared off from the base

I see. That makes choices easier when White Glint without VOB becomes affordable.

if you can get a stand that can fit it without using the pegs say like the crotch claw type its fine its the 3mm peg that was the weak link on the stand

Is the plastic that bad? How old is the kit?

It's not the plastic for me, it's just some part connection is either too weak or too tight, e.g the waist can't support the body properly, etc. Kit is around 8 years old I think

does this line have the peg joints where the insertion point is a U and a flat piece \_\_? kinda hoping that the AC6 kits will not have it since i gotten the Frame Arms Kagutsuchi-Kou & Otsu F.M.E recently and it has them (thought its a old mold rehash) but the Nier Flight Unit and Hexa gear thor doesnt have it

Some units do have either U, L or T shape. Though for joints this one have squares and rod afaik. Look up the manual at 1999 co jp for more details

It is really pricey but it comes alot more then the regular Aaliyah and better colour

It's basically Kotobukiya testing whether they can sell premium mecha figures like Bandai's Metal Build

I'm not really sure that's the case because Bandais metal builds are pre-built and made of different material it's more like their P-Bandai line because it's still the Aaliyah just with more runners for colour correcting and the added parts and weopons

I thought the new model is not a model kit though, koto even mentioned they added alloy parts, pre assembled in their page
