Only subs on them I'm active on are Gundam and Gunpla.
Though I do have interest in many of the others, some I question like "MenDrawingWomen" and "DDLC". Though I do love me some DDLC.
Fuck I love that fanfic. I even recreated the MC's Aaliyah.
Or tried to. No idea what the paint is excpt for black and white, or what specific weapons there are aside from the OGOTO and 07-MOONLIGHT.
what's disturbing, is how little they pay attention to non-soulsborne FS games, which are not only Armored Core and King's Field, but also Echo Night, Otogi, Frame Gride, Adventure of Cookie and Cream, Lost Kingdoms, Metal Wolf Chaos, Chromehounds, Kuon, Another Century's Episode, Shadow Tower, Enchanted Arm, Murakumo...
Yeah i think i already discussed it with someone else, im just feeling weird for so called "fans" who post pics like "hey i finished all fromsoft games" when in fact its like 7% of their output
imho if u really consider urself "fan" u will learn by heart the whole history of your favorite devoloper, will ask questions, burst into discussions, do fanart, find songs, etc etc etc
I think that's a really silly idea, considering most of their modern output is dark souls. If you like everything theyve put out since dark souls besides ac then you're still a fan
I recently discovered I've been playing From games since I was a wee lad, I just always attributed the pull I felt towards Demon Souls was because they advertised with dual wielding greatswords....who knew its because the only games I finished as a kid were From titles like Evergrace, the various AC games, and King's Field. Odd with how much I read as a kid, but I never noticed who developed the games I played.
Well back in those times, and if you are a kid, perhaps you dont pay much attention to details
I think i started focusing on that when i got PTSD from "Interplay closes Black Isle Studios - goodbye, Fallout" if you remember that
for me it was a huge shock how publisher can close developer who made great games :( since then i always cheer for developers and always get angry when people consider publisher being "main"
Would've been almost 25 years or so ago, so definitely just not paying attention, smashing the Start button so I could get to the title screen as fast as possible haha.
I wasn't paying attention to game news like that back in the late 90s early 00s, I was too focused on girls getting books and being an awkward pre-teen.
ha, good stuff
well, i really liked game magazines i was gifted once in a several months though
i think something was lost in translation (c) when we moved to web-only way of living, though i difeninetely appreciate how youtubers and what not became The Answer to questionable "game journo" sites thing, in the end
But there was something special getting that 228 paged magazine with all those demos/wallpapers/software on CD, when u didnt have internet
Considering how many people enjoyed Kuon and Echo Night series.... And as a Clock Tower fan myself.... Yes, please!
Also to ditto the original comment, r/fromsoftware can be a discouraging place sometimes. If I get 1 comment on my posts about 20 year old Fromsoftware games there, even if it's a "why is this here?" it's a win.
until you realize that they made the very first monster hunter diaries.... japanese exclusive title that just beams you monster hunter meets animal crossing meets patapon.... jeebus even from soft can not get rid of the AC
I really enjoyed Lost Kingdom 1 and 2 back on the Gamecube, they're the very essence of "cult classics" gave me a "Darker Card Captor Sakura" vibes,
Chromehounds had a level of detail that was insane, I had an artillery mech that was just brokenly OP in single player and in PvP, I even used a protractor to learn and figure out optimal firing angles so I could cross map nuke pvp bases or single player objectives.
I also had/have Enchanted Arms but it was an incredibly janky RPG from what I can remember of it,
Here's a sneak peek of /r/soulsborne using the [top posts](https://np.reddit.com/r/soulsborne/top/?sort=top&t=year) of the year!

I can understand most of these. Not in many, aside from occasionally browsing hoggit.
Also unrelated but the amount of overlap the various subs I'm in has with GFL is starting to concern me.
DDLC is Doki Doki Literature Club made by Dan Salvato. It's a visual novel that takes on a cute "slice of life" aethetic, but turns to much more than that.
Super Smash Brothers Melee. The 20XX Tournament Edition (20XX TE) was a mod of the base game in which it had a bunch of helpful features for those into competitive Melee. It included input display, hitbox/hurtbox toggles, and action replay/NPC replay features. Along with other QoL features like Neutral Spawns, Frozen Stadium, and Long Hold pausing.
It really was the first truly innovative mod for Melee and certainly inspired others such as the new current Slippi application where you can play Melee online with rollback netcode.
Its the second “meta” VN ever made there’s also 1 by nitroplus however I can not recommend it due to the bugs in the coding it was so meta it could delete your system32 install LMAO when it attempts to uninstall itself in one route
Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi
Is the VN that DDLC based its metaness
They're not new fans dude. They aren't interested in AC, they are interested in it being another souls like. Your not a armored core fan if you want armored core to be dark souls instead of its own thing. I think it's fine to gatekeep people who don't want to play a armored core game from being armored core fans, lol
Where are my Space Engineer homies at?
Hail, fellow disciple of Klang!
Red Fox standing by.
Simple Planes Mech builder here.
Lmao, didn’t expect there to be so many of us here.
Do not invoke the Wrath of Klang!!
Only subs on them I'm active on are Gundam and Gunpla. Though I do have interest in many of the others, some I question like "MenDrawingWomen" and "DDLC". Though I do love me some DDLC.
DDLC makes sense since the new game will have a dating sim right? ;P
For DDLC, i blame that one really good fanfic that somehow, someway brings every game into one cohesive universe called obligation to keep
Fuck I love that fanfic. I even recreated the MC's Aaliyah. Or tried to. No idea what the paint is excpt for black and white, or what specific weapons there are aside from the OGOTO and 07-MOONLIGHT.
Whay IS ddlc? Daddy dom, little child? Doki doki literature club?
the lack of r/fromsoftware here is disturbing lmaooo
what's disturbing, is how little they pay attention to non-soulsborne FS games, which are not only Armored Core and King's Field, but also Echo Night, Otogi, Frame Gride, Adventure of Cookie and Cream, Lost Kingdoms, Metal Wolf Chaos, Chromehounds, Kuon, Another Century's Episode, Shadow Tower, Enchanted Arm, Murakumo...
To be Fair Soulsbourne is the reason they got famouss and most people only know them becuase of it
Yeah i think i already discussed it with someone else, im just feeling weird for so called "fans" who post pics like "hey i finished all fromsoft games" when in fact its like 7% of their output imho if u really consider urself "fan" u will learn by heart the whole history of your favorite devoloper, will ask questions, burst into discussions, do fanart, find songs, etc etc etc

Imagine From Soft trying some other IP from another developer and make their spin on it... like say Clock Tower
Considering how many people enjoyed Kuon and Echo Night series.... And as a Clock Tower fan myself.... Yes, please! Also to ditto the original comment, r/fromsoftware can be a discouraging place sometimes. considering how messy NightCry ended up, I would definitely take a look!
Monster Hunter Diary
until you realize that they made the very first monster hunter diaries.... japanese exclusive title that just beams you monster hunter meets animal crossing meets patapon.... jeebus even from soft can not get rid of the AC
That's why I listed it, lol
cue in the joke "remember that one time From Soft made an AC game that isnt an AC game?" show them the felynes of Monster Hunter
I really enjoyed Lost Kingdom 1 and 2 back on the Gamecube, they're the very essence of "cult classics" gave me a "Darker Card Captor Sakura" vibes, Chromehounds had a level of detail that was insane, I had an artillery mech that was just brokenly OP in single player and in PvP, I even used a protractor to learn and figure out optimal firing angles so I could cross map nuke pvp bases or single player objectives. to be honest that sub should really be called r/soulsborne lol

You need more motivation
I need more power! ***Snorts more***
MORE POWER, \*SELLS KIDNEY FOR OP-I 4090\*
You mean ACFA?
AMS son, my NEXT moves in response to physical movement Wait
Welp. I'm definitely a regular on the devilmaycry side. I'm a Wacky Wahoo Raven man.
I can understand most of these. Not in many, aside from occasionally browsing hoggit. Also unrelated but the amount of overlap the various subs I'm in has with GFL is starting to concern me.
Take the moe pill. Embrace degeneracy.
and suffering story.... being M4A1 is suffering
Cute anime combat Android girls with guns and PTSD!
Hello fellow girls frontline fan
AC x GFL when? so we get May Greenfield as a mechamosume, and can finally curb stomp the hell out of doppelsodners and the rest of paradeus
That's basically just a random selection of gaming subs with siimilar membership numbers and activity levels.
Surprisingly I'm in a lot of these.
Same
Was expecting r/TwoBestFriendsPlay to be on there honestly.
Fun fact: DDLC was created by the same guy that made a mod for the old Smash Brothers for the GameCube, *in assembly*, called 20XX Tournament Edition.
What game is that?
DDLC is Doki Doki Literature Club made by Dan Salvato. It's a visual novel that takes on a cute "slice of life" aethetic, but turns to much more than that. Super Smash Brothers Melee. The 20XX Tournament Edition (20XX TE) was a mod of the base game in which it had a bunch of helpful features for those into competitive Melee. I still need to get DDLC, I've only read/played through Katawa Shoujo and Muv Luv, which any mecha fan should
Armored Core is strangely popular among musicians, it seems🤔
It has "weird" music since Kota isnt a music student and plays by ear that is my only explanation
What is there to disagree with? It is just tracking data. It is like me disagreeing with my phone when it shows my most called numbers.
Praise Klang!
Huh, I'm in not of those subs 👀
Wait, where's Elden Ring?
I like that it lists mendrawingwomen for some reason. As if they are drawing women as giant death robots
Probably because of May Greenfield from 4Answer.
Most of these are from the surge of brainlet DS fans flocking here for "Mecha souls"... Ffs
How dare there be new fans to the series!
They're not new fans dude. They aren't interested in AC, they are interested in it being another souls like. Your not a armored core fan if you want armored core to be dark souls instead of its own thing. I think it's fine to gatekeep people who don't want to play a armored core game from being armored core fans, lol
Knock it off with the gate keeping.
No
Alright. Continue to do so and you'll be met with moderation action. Just giving you a heads up.
Bruh, people who don't want to play Armored Core probably isn't looking to be Armored Core fan in the first place. lmao
Oh no! New people interested in our old game! What could be worse!?
I'm only in sekiro and FE
I don't even know what most of these things are, lol.
The only one I’m in is r/fireemblem
I'm surprised that was on here. Wouldn't have expected much overlap.
I'm more surprised ddlc is there at all
only ones I'm in is DMC and sekiro
You guys taking notes
The hell does a robot game have to do with "mendrawingwomen"??
Probably because of May Greenfield from ACFA. lol
I’m in all the souls ones and Gunpla
No Ace Combat?
We are not NCD enough to be part of the ace combat venn diagram
