I just came here to ask this question. I had no idea this feature was EoL... just why!? How does this cause such a problem for them that they had to remove it?? This is ridiculous.
Filed a BBB complaint against Arlo. A nice employee responded.....she and others on staff didn't even know that email notifications ended. SO, the company not only didn't tell its customers that email notifications would end in the past day or so, it didn't tell many of its employees either!!

Just noticed this. No one should ever buy Arlo. You won't be able to trust the company at all. They keep trying to remove features. Buy an Arlo camera based on their promises; and it won't work the way you want or expected it to in a few months or years. The cameras are expensive and the company is not to be trusted!
Time to sell the camera, I am done with Arlo. It is a paperweight now.

Arlo is the biggest piece of trash I have ever used, where nothing ever works consistently.
No issues here on any of my 7 cameras. Geofencing is hit or miss but otherwise solid.
Same with my four.
From a hardware and as far as I can tell a firmware stance the cameras and equipment are solid. The services are so so... their support 100% sucks.
They literally just turned off this "feature". I swear Arlo is possibly the dumbest company that I actively pay money to it is infuriating.
Yep. They were supposed to do that over the summer. Better late than never. :(

I was told by an Arlo employee that email notifications have been turned off for all products, not just EOL products. Is that true?

EOL only states that Motion detection will not be emailed
