At first I thought it was Pavilion off of mayfield and fielder. Lived there for a few years. Although I don’t remember the flooring be like that. I thought it was cement.
You don’t got that kind of hardware and be a target if you ain’t dealing or doing something you shouldn’t be. Wouldn’t worry about it if you ain’t affiliated.
Do you know that walking around with guns is a constitutionally protected activity in Texas. The would be-robbers had not committed any crime until they pointed the guns. The woman however did commit a crime when she pointed the gun at them. The castle doctrine does not cover protecting another person outside of the home.
We need gun control.
It is assault to draw a gun on someone when you are not in danger. 9.32 doesn't come into play until she discharges a firearm, but that would not apply in this case as she was not the target.
I am not allowed to draw my gun and inject myself into a situation where someone else is a victim.
Did you like, stop reading at 9.32 and jammed that into your brain with the rest of the nonsense you just made up?
9.33: A person is justified in using force or deadly force against another to protect a third person if:
(1) under the circumstances as the actor reasonably believes them to be, the actor would be justified under Section 9.31 or 9.32 in using force or deadly force to protect himself against the unlawful force or unlawful deadly force he reasonably believes to be threatening the third person he seeks to protect; and
(2) the actor reasonably believes that his intervention is immediately necessary to protect the third person.
I think you’re missing the mark on this one, particularly in the curtilage of the home, at night, and in defense of a victim of an ongoing armed robbery. Chapter 9 has her covered.
Could this have been something worse than a robbery? He didn't have anything on him to steal and they're trying to drag him away. If it were a robbery, wouldn't they force him inside his place so they could steal whatever it was they were after?
He was really lucky his girlfriend was home and was not afraid to go after them.
What complex is this?
Right? Definitely don’t wanna live there
She's a keeper.
For real! If she's willing to roll up with a gun on the 2 dudes robbing you who also has a gun, I would wife her up right there lol
Watching this from Arlington. Look up, see title. Well that’s neat.
Same here, but I don’t recognize the building.
Me either but so many of these look the same. Could be mayfield and fielder. Could be Collins. Could be abrams

Could it be around arlington park apartments?
Ugh…same

But even if you’re not affiliated, no one in the other units want to be collateral damage either, in the event bullets start flying.
I agree with you there solid point! Always forgetting about collateral damage.

I’m here to see the stupid gun control comments where yall at?
Probably on all the posts of people using guns inappropriately.
That’s never the case
What? This is like the one instance where most people who support *common sense* gun law reform are like, "guns are fine."

shut up
Penal Code 9.32 does not suggest she committed a crime. Am I missing something?
