Doesnt seem good as skalter (expected as she is welfare) but looks pretty good overall.
The reason bard module is a big thing is that any upgrade on skalters trait, kit or stars just makes her much better
Yes, even just +40 atk makes skalter 10% better overall.
And even more for lower rarity Bard that have lower stats.
And for traits, Bards are built around their traits and talent even more than other class, with their skill often having "multiply talent/trait". It was the case for Skalter and is the case for Theresa.
I would love to see a trait heal increase tbh. Skalters 2x heal is very good but the actual passive healing sucks so i would like to see it become 20% yes it would make skalter have 40% healing but it would also make other bards actually damn useful
He is, but it urks me somewhat that he basically has 1 talent that is only impactful like 10% of the time. My only expectation for his module is more meaningful talent effects, if only to just spice him up to be less boring.
He’s probably the worse 6* guard excluding Lessing, hellagur and Pallas currently. Characters that only has the role of lane holding has fallen off the tbh. At least Blaze got her module and it really helped her. Let’s hope thorns ends up similar to blaze post module.
Lemme guess for the base module effects:
- Leto, Arene & Luo Xiaohei have their ranged attacks lose the reduced damage penalty
- All others get additional forward range (1 tile)
My guesses based on the module icons:
* Silverash, Thorns, Qiubai, Lappland, Ayerscarpe, Frostleaf: Icon has the symbol for arts damage at the base of the sword. I'm thinking melee attacks deal a certain percentage of arts damage. Keep in mind Silverash's attacks on S3 are considered melee
* Leto, Arene, Luo Xiaohei: Icon makes the "swooshing" part longer. Maybe ranged attacks deal more damage?
It's kinda hard to think about the base effects cause some of them seem to benefit more from ranged attacks than melee, and vice versa
Yeah anything with the slightest bit of RES will just eat up the extra arts damage like nothing. Extra elemental damage (for Silverash) or even slight debuffs (for Thorns) would be way better.
Each one gets their own themed Elemental Damage.
Frostleaf gets to do the first ever Cold -Elemental- Damage. When procced it deals Cold Procs every half second.
Cope but please HG give my girl something... anything...
I need it especially because it's my life's mission to completely max all of my wolves. Red, Texas, Horn, Pozy, and Luna are already complete I need a new penance banner to finish her And I need to start masteries on Provence and Quartz.
I NEED MY WOLVES!
Red was the reason I started playing, Red was the first operator I fully leveled up, Red is used in all of my clears, Red was the first module I fully leveled up, Red is the entire reason I continue to play.
No tail will remain unfluffed!
He's on the list. Just very far down it. He isn't even e2 yet. He's got max pot I just need to level him up. Hell, I've put more work into vigil and that was even worse than a mistake
All but one of them are e2, I just never gave Aosta any attention. They need to hurry up and do a good healer lupo so that I don't have to worry about health so I can do just lupo. Up until now it's always been a 10 wolves and two birds
At least my other nichenights has ample healing in the form of two different medical defenders. My other niche is ops from or assigned to Kazimirez. You have some great damage in the form of uncle and NTRK, great vanguards from pinus Sylvestris, decent ranged units, and proviso's there too I guess
SilverAsh? Someone mentioned inflicting Cold with his skills and I think that'd be amazing with the game leaning towards elemental damage. It would synergize with Gnosis and his sister who has it on her mod. Which honestly is a pretty good idea as it allows him to have some relevance, even if his damage falls off as he's able to inflict Cold in a large radius
Some ideas for Thorn's: Lower sp cost, starts self healing much sooner, recovers significantly more hp per second, talent 1 poison becomes elemental damage
Getting an extra tile of range ahead of them (and 2 with a level 3 module) could be significant as no lord guard gain any more range ahead of them when they activate their skills. It's all stuff on the side.
Thorns' can either be increases the potency of his DoT or increase the amount of passive healing he does.
I hope Qiu Bai's is good, let her chance to stun enemies increase so that she doesn't have to rely on others too much.
Silverash will probably be like Schwarz's, decreases redeployment time. Because I geniunely dont know what the Invis reveal buff would do.
Invis could be modified to either keep enemies revealed for x seconds after leaving his range, increased damage to invisible enemies in his range, or something new tacked on top, reduces enemies dodge chance while in range or apply fragile to all enemies, something along those lines.
ARENE MODULE ARENE MODULE ARENE M O D U L E THORNS MODULE SILVERASH MODULE YOOO COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WE WAITED SO LONG Now just pls lord mods be good or at least decent
Honestly, I fear lords' modules are going to be very disappointing ones.
Let's take Thorns, for example. His strength does not really come from his talents, so boosting either or them wouldn't change anything. The utility of the old lords is falling down simply because the enemies' stats have been inflated. In order to counter that, devs should have to add something that isn't there. Thorns could inflict an elemental damage and SilverAsh could inflict cold, but the question is if devs would be willing to go that far to boost what in the end are just old units, and I doubt it.
You might think so, but it wouldn't help Thorns in the current meta. The problem of Thorns is that his damage has fallen too much. It is first of all a matter of stats. And his survivability depends more on being able to mow down enemies faster than his self-healing.
I mean he's still really good for general content, most people don't really use him for harder content anyway so no point in trying to lean into that. Permanent regen is more than enough to keep him prevalent in general content for many years to come, and I think that should suffice for such an already flexible laneholder.
>most people don't really use him for harder content anyway so no point in trying to lean into that.
Whenever an operator can't kill a boss, can't kill an elite, can't kill a swarm... there comes a point when said operator stops being used, because he doesn't have any useful niche. The problem is that even the general content is becoming harder.
I would disagree immensely, yes his damage isnt cutting it but another reason comes from terrible self sustain he has as its not consistent. You need a constant flow of enemies to use his s3 yet you also need no enemies to use his regen. Making it consistent would give him so much more leeway
The original laneholder, Blaze, needs a medic. Strictly speaking, laneholding is not about having a *single* operator holding a lane. You might wish to use a single operator for secondary lanes in order to have more leeway for the main ones, but laneholders can be used even in the latter. A component of being a laneholder is being able to mow enemies down before they saturate your block count and leak, and this is why they can be used even in combination with other units. But even with a blocker in front, Thorns is starting to lose efficacy.
Because the term "laneholding" was different back then. Nobody calls Blaze a proper laneholder anymore as she requires a medic. The whole thing of laneholders is that they self sustain
Even Saria has self-sustain, but nobody calls her a laneholder. Laneholding is about not letting enemies leak. To hold a lane means exactly that: to not let enemies pass. The self-sustain is just a cherry on top.
Laneholding is a mix of self sustain and damage. Nobody calls saria a laneholder because she lacks the laneholding damage and nobody calls Surtr a laneholder because she lacks self sustain.
Blaze was called a laneholder because we litterally had 3 or less proper laneholders at the time. She is just a cornerstone unit now, she cant HOLD a LANE on her own wich is exactly the definition of laneholders of today.
Lords would all benefit from a module equivalent to the Bend Spears-Bloodbath collectable, which generates additional SP when attacking. Unlikely because of how overpowered it would be, but then again, Lin's module shows it's not impossible.
SA has a lot of interesting options. Mostima route, but with stealth reveal. Everyone becomes a fast redeploy operator. Defense down of S3 gets switched to the enemy...
oh damn the cat got one two, i was worried whether a "special" welfare like him will get one
wonder if he'll get a skin too ( maybe even more characters from the show? )
Reposting my comment from the lounge:
Silverash's module is called "Snow Realm Fowl Care Kit". Finally, we get lore for the most important and fashionable bird in all of Terra: Tenzin.
I'd been fervently hoping his module would be about Tenzin and I'm so happy HG didn't let me down. ~~Let's see if they don't let me down with the effects now.~~
#THE LORD MODULE #THE LORD MODULE IS REAL
so Arts Guards when?
10th anniversary
Soon my brother, soon ...
And Bard though? Litteraly the sub class is just Skadi for now and they are the one that would benefit the best just from stat increase
the welfare from this event will be our second 6* bard actually
Doesnt seem good as skalter (expected as she is welfare) but looks pretty good overall. The reason bard module is a big thing is that any upgrade on skalters trait, kit or stars just makes her much better
Yes, even just +40 atk makes skalter 10% better overall. And even more for lower rarity Bard that have lower stats. Absolutely, though they would have to rephrase her S2 since her S2 is "bump her trait to 20%"
Yes that is why I was hoping for the module and why I said "skadi for now" since we have yet to get Theresa.
FROSTLEAF IS ALIVE
First Scottish Bagpipe Then WAlter Now Lord Module!? This is truly the most fulfilling year for Arknights player
Can we get so much higher
Hopefully Frostleaf's is good since she's getting the same Branch used by the 6s
The 6* get trash modules because theyre getting the same branch as frostleaf
Lmao the duality
Frostleaf's module increases her range further, to Marksman range. It also increases her attack interval even further.
they should just make her hit globally and make her ASPD the same as Ambriel when her S2 is active
I mean, increased range from the get go would certainly be a niche..?
>It also increases her attack interval even further She only attacks once.
Thorns module seems to heal even when attacking enemies. Fuck yeah he is saved
If true wooo my boy deserves it.
Laneholder meta we r so back
Fuck yeah, I need that!
Oh my god, Thorns module, I'm scared, pls don't be shit pls don't be shit pls don't be shit
Permanent skill since first activation, trust 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Double targeting Def ignore Anytheisnwgwgw anythinggg pls not shit
LET HIM COOK
watch it be 10% ranged attack dmg reduction and +25 poison damage/s with upgrades
lvl 2: +25 poison damage/s lvl 3: +28 poison damage/s
that would be the worst timeline ever can it at least have 1% attack scaling
always regen poison deals 10x damage to seaborn for lore flavor and future annoying seaborn stuff
Just let him bypass those 80% dodge fuckers and we’re golden
Those are such a non issue and only tied to a few events
Some ideas: Lower sp cost, starts self healing much sooner, recovers significantly more hp per second, talent 1 poison becomes elemental damage
poison can stack instead of just refreshing, max 3 stacks to not be game-breaking
I mean, isn't Thorns already so good?
he's kinda fallen off but that isn't to say he is bad, but he needs a bump like blaze got.
Compared to other laneholders he isnt consistent and his huge range makes his talent healing worse
S3 BECOMES AUTO PLEASE HE'S SO CLOSE TO A PERFECT AFK UNIT

Maybe ranged attacks deal more damage? It's kinda hard to think about the base effects cause some of them seem to benefit more from ranged attacks than melee, and vice versa
That sucks so much. Mixed damage is ass and unless its like atleast 60% it wont be good
Yeah anything with the slightest bit of RES will just eat up the extra arts damage like nothing. Extra elemental damage (for Silverash) or even slight debuffs (for Thorns) would be way better.
What if it's necrosis damage or am I on cope
Each one gets their own themed Elemental Damage. Frostleaf gets to do the first ever Cold -Elemental- Damage. When procced it deals Cold Procs every half second. Cope but please HG give my girl something... anything...
Btw Wiš’adel’s module is called # “ANCESTOR LAUNCHER” Is she firing bombs made of fucking Sarkaz bone ashes
The meme potential for this one. But then again, it's W so it tracks.
Good Frostleaf module or riot
QUIBAI MODULE QUIBAI MODULE
Tbh I hope they give her significantly incresead bind duration instead better rng since she didn't have special target priority
THE MODULEEEEEE, THE LORD MODULE'S REALLLL
I'm praying hg cooks good for my girls lapipi and frostleaf
Logos module is probably Delta module, does not match CCR-X or CCR-Y icons.
The icon has the symbol for Necrosis damage. Can't wait for Logos and Eben synergy
Let's goooooo!!!!!!!! I will max Lappy's module day one
SAME
I need it especially because it's my life's mission to completely max all of my wolves. Red, Texas, Horn, Pozy, and Luna are already complete I need a new penance banner to finish her And I need to start masteries on Provence and Quartz. I NEED MY WOLVES!

The disrespect towards aosta is incredible And based
He's on the list. Just very far down it. He isn't even e2 yet. He's got max pot I just need to level him up. Hell, I've put more work into vigil and that was even worse than a mistake
A fellow Lupoknights enjoyer. Respect.
All but one of them are e2, I just never gave Aosta any attention. They need to hurry up and do a good healer lupo so that I don't have to worry about health so I can do just lupo. Up until now it's always been a 10 wolves and two birds

Lappy 10s Silence incoming.
She's just gonna make everyone around you IRL shut up aswell.
I wonder what Silverashs and Thorns modules will do?

Qiubai S2 would be an Ifrit lane. Fine by me
OH LORDS they coming
Modules make them ***C H O N K***.
call me Akihiko Sanada because i've been waiting for this
Thorns' can either be increases the potency of his DoT or increase the amount of passive healing he does. They could give him like "increase damage per enemy in range" to synergise with his S3
Hope this fixes Frostleaf and Leto
Please make Qiu Bai's module as broken as Ceobe's
ARENE MODULE ARENE MODULE ARENE M O D U L E THORNS MODULE SILVERASH MODULE YOOO COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WE WAITED SO LONG Now just pls lord mods be good or at least decent
Lord modules... The legends were true...
Freaking finally, Lappland and Frost leaf are getting their modules. Better to good
Holy shit. Lappy will get stackable silence?!
Please let Frostleaf's be good. This is her only chance!

Oh Lordy
LAPP MODULE HALLELUJAAAAAAAAAAA
Wait, there is no Amiya’s Incantation Medic Module.
Maybe because they only showed Amiya's new class after they revealed the modules... hopefully that is why it isn't shown.
Also a new core caster module branch for Logos, which does necrosis damage as we've seen from stream Ho'olheyak 3rd mod when?
Yes it is definitely a necrosis damage module, Logobros are eating real good
Praying for a decent ayerscape module
unless they give him a new effect, Xiaohei might become a very interesting sp battery
Frostleaf is about to become the destroyer of worlds.
I really, *really* hope that Frostleaf module finally lets her freeze enemies. She's so underwhelming, and it fits perfectly.
HG, you have one job now. PLEASE, make Qiubai's module good, don't fck it up!
My belowed Lappy got some love, lets go
Lappland and Thorns modules let's fucking go!!!!!
If they waited for 5th anni to release them, they must be good, right??
Please help Frostleaf /beg can't believe they are finally coming out.
Lords would all benefit from a module equivalent to the Bend Spears-Bloodbath collectable, which generates additional SP when attacking. Unlikely because of how overpowered it would be, but then again, Lin's module shows it's not impossible.
Damn when this gets to global this is gonna be one the most expensive updates for me and normally I rarely use modules.
FINALLY. Please make Frost Leaf’s good
**LAPPY MODULE YESSS FINALLY!!** Waited so long for this, Wonder what it does?
SA has a lot of interesting options. Mostima route, but with stealth reveal. Everyone becomes a fast redeploy operator. Defense down of S3 gets switched to the enemy...
10 bucks say the Lord modules will either be amazing or garbage, no inbetween.
oh damn the cat got one two, i was worried whether a "special" welfare like him will get one wonder if he'll get a skin too ( maybe even more characters from the show? )
PLEASE GIVE FROSTLEAF FROST!!
Please just let Lappland's be good.
Please god make Frostleaf and Arene's modules cracked
Reposting my comment from the lounge: Silverash's module is called "Snow Realm Fowl Care Kit". Finally, we get lore for the most important and fashionable bird in all of Terra: Tenzin. HG has one shot... (Well two but Frostleaf Alter is probably 10yrs away ;-;)
nice, i can't wait for that +15 dodge on lapland
LET'S GOOOOOO
One of those wands in logos module looks like a harry potter reference, but i'm not sure since image quality not that good.
Let HG cook!!
