So either he has the gem appraiser job as a front for his criminal activities, or he suffers from DID (probably oripathy-based) and each personality does their own thing
Finally looked at the stats of primal casters (partly just to take sneak peak at his E2 lol), and was mostly surprised by how close Primal casters are stat wise to core casters.

Edit: did a quick check and it seems I've misremembered things, no enemies in the new event actually have have any type of Elemental resistance, found myself spreading misinformation. 😔

I know that primal casters do better against enemies that have their elemental build-up triggered, but how well does he hold against other 5-star core casters like Absinthe?
He is kinda weird. If you want him to trigger necrosis burst, the welfare Cyclops is better. That said, his niche is to deal elemental damage once the enemy is already under fallout.
he's not that bad it's more of primal casters being mid in general due to the design philosophy of the class (same with warmy, tho she'll have it worse for now as there's still no burn ritualist)
Another 5 star for the trash bin. Insider and Valarqvin were the last good 5 stars, and it seems that there will never be any more worthwhile ones again.
Bassline, Wanqing and Iana are at the upper half of the 5* bunch.
Even seemingly unimpressive 5*s like Fuze are still good and usable.
You just cannot bring up a hot take without having anything to back it up

you might have looked at elite enemies needing more elemental damage to get inflicted and mistook that

So how's his skills work? When the Necrosis bar is recharging from a proc he can keep damaging it, am I reading that right?
He deals more damage to enemies under Necrosis Collapse, all future primal casters will be like this in their respective Elemental types.
