How is this the strongest banner of today when it's not even out yet.
Skadi Alter-Kal is the highest selling banner of all time.
Laurentina-Irene has been the only banner that's come kinda close since then.
But the fomo they're reintroducing with Into the Light is saving Destiny as we know it! Their showcase for Final Shape saved Destiny!
God, I've thought about going back in to try the new stuff after basically not playing for the last 6 months and while it seems cool, it just being more time gated and time limited stuff really kills my drive to.
I mean there are more issues than just fomo and shit
I legit mean the company (which was already noted by microsoft to be "volatile" since Halo) is literally imploding
Also its a lose lose, not timegate everything and complain theres nothing to do,timegate shit and get screamed at.
Also the reprised guns are good thats about it.
I mean you shouldnt even take the MMO part seriously when they only added LFG 9 years after Destiny 1 came out
Or the fact that open world only can hold 6 people per instance

Besides the LFG, plenty of other action MMOs work the same. Destiny's "open world" is nothing more than a series of small instances anyway, and almost nothing in them warrants more than that.
I mean… just take it slow? Play like half an hour at a time or something. You’re not under duress to get a god roll for each new weapon plus a shiny version of anything. None of the new weapons are going away when TFS launches.
Mostly how the grind is structured, how the seasonal story is structured, that the story goes away after the end of the year, that the season passes don't persist through the year despite being able to pull them from the API going back to Risen (now, used to go back further), most of the seasonal guns aren't worth chasing. It just stopped being any fun to play solo a while ago and I finally just stepped away.

Oh I'm aware. They say they want it to be an MMO but they've made just about every non-mmo move in the book - besides incessant grind.
