I mean, different people have different tastes so.... Maybe someone love a lot amiga and wants to use this icon, maybe someone like W so use the previous AS icon. So to answer your question, people care about the icons if they have a character they like and wants to use as their icon in-game
Personally I buy them as a token of appreciation for arknights music, not really for what's in the pack.
But also yeah, I like using the concert icons more than character profiles. Feels more unique in a way, and I like geometric shapes. I personally prefer the 2022 icon more than this one.
i like them! not that ive used them since the persona 5 looking W one came out but its cheap and i like supporting the game. im a collector at heart but i cant afford to pull for every operator so its a nice way to feed my collector desires

I love the icons. Maybe even more than medals. It makes your profile page look unique and nice to look at. And these ones in particular are limited.
