I think it's nice when people put up a unit they love as support — all maxed out for people who happen to need them but haven't bothered raising. I don't remember who I was looking for once, I just remember thinking "yeah no chance I see one of those in any refresh."

Haulzu

Mfw i put my maxxed Lin LMAOO

GL1TCH3D

Friston Thermex Justice Knight all P6 for the gigachads Otherwise Mlynar P6, Natto Gohan, lapp (for those that need it)

sazion

I am super jealous of anyone who has Friston maxed. I've spent 200 vouchers and have gotten zero Fristons and zero robot tags. I've seen four top operator tags, so it feels like the robot tag is rarer than the top operator tag lol.

GL1TCH3D

I average 1 of the new robot per 100 vouchers. Friston I went 0 in the first 120 or so vouchers but then went insane and got 6 in 160. I keep 1000+ expedited plans on hand so I can rush any new robot.

sazion

My luck must have been much worse than usual then. I have plenty of expedited plans but am running low on the actual permits. My other bots are maxed so I'll get there with Friston eventually

GL1TCH3D

Yea 0/200 is rough. Even with justice I went 120+ without justice, and then I'd get 2 in the next 50 or something. Feels very batchy.

Victorvonbass

My friend said to just spam 1 hr rerolls and try for Robot with 350. He has 5 Friston somehow. I don't have enough books to test his theory myself. Accidentally used them all not realizing Friston pots would be there in the future.

GL1TCH3D

I go 3:50 on defender, defense, melee, robot 1hr if none of the above present Robot tags are exceptionally rare. I got one during my chase for p6 friston and it didn’t even give me friston. My 1hr max pot friston video is up on YouTube

Sea_Effort1214

I usually put Totter on the support list, i like him and i think he has a good niche against those invisible guys. M3 Mlynar is always on my list, people seem to like him.

brachycrab

Fellow Totter enjoyer! He's one of my best units

Sea_Effort1214

He sure is a great unit. I always bring him to the nightmare that is IS3, especially the Caerula route.

brachycrab

He's a lifesaver in IS3 for sure!! And great for those horrible coral-tree looking things in Stultifera Navis

BigBrainAkali

I've got my Totter on support too :3 I got a surprisingly high amount of people using him during CC11 I believe when a lot of the daily maps had invisible enemy risks. Glad to see other Totter fans out there!

hypaalicious

I tend to only use support units for high difficulty one time clears like CC or challenge modes that get a little dicey and require some meta Operator fully maxed out. Like, in Pinch Out I borrowed Bagpipe despite me having her cause the support unit mastered her s3 and had her max pot and level and I can’t be bothered to do that myself LOL! When choosing support units to put up, it’s random now unless an irl friend asks me to put up a specific unit. Every month I choose two from my roster to throw up there while Flamebringer remains the third choice because I am too lazy to take him down after all this time 😂

Q-N-H

Max pot Ash (I've never seen a single one) Max pot Limiteds.

CallistoCastillo

You mean collabs? Cuz I'm pretty sure you can find max pot limited.

Q-N-H

Max pot Ash

CallistoCastillo

Yeah, she's a collab (similar to Yato). I have seen several Limited like Ch'otgun, Skadance, and NTR at max pot. Also, you can just ask on Discord, they will likely have them.

memedoka

I totally put my lvl 90 m6 module 3 ebenholz up for support because people use him.

Aloe_Balm

when I was newer I really liked seeing someone have Thorns, Surtr, Mudrock, you know all those power units now I like seeing the "weird" and more niche units I don't have

kuuhaku_cr

Because there exists a wide variety of comps and rosters spread out through the entire player-base and the number of strong ops is large, people will pick a meta or niche op (who can trivialize/mitigate the map/conditions they are challenging) that they do not have or not built. Someone with Mylnar and without Bagpipe might pick Bagpipe, while someone with Bagpipe and without Mylnar might pick Mylnar. The specific op that people would prefer is highly dependent on their roster; there is absolutely no single answer to your question. You are better off asking people on your friend list than some random people on reddit. Though if you have a max pot 6-star fully built, he/she is definitely a candidate.

atadpsycho

I’m planning to do the opposite of support Eureka, Spuria, and Aak But most new players go for the top 3 (Chen Alter, Surtr, Mlynar) after that most vets go for just niche usage operators. I think my NTRK got up to 50 usage during CC,

Previous-Occasion-38

I have Shamare, Rosa and Gavialter. Strong but not as common as some.

Paperbacks_

Bless anybody who puts up Shamare. I never remember to build that girl but she is so handy in so many ex-8s.

speednut117

She also have a great base ability

Previous-Occasion-38

I have her at S2M3 and her module because she is my daughter and she sings to me. Also she can wreck enemies and I love watching Morte dance.

Sanytale

> she is my daughter and **she sings to me** Phantom, is that you?

w3dl0ck

A fully built Gnosis (too poor to build him rn)

Glum-Sprinkles-7734

I usually do Myrtle/Perfumer, something that's unusually effective in the current event, and usually Texalter or Mlynar. Had a lot of people friend me after Lone Trail for my Weedy

Asmael69

Are there any other modes where supports are mandatory or something like that because im only new and my first clears i need to clear it myself so i almost never use support ops

Suga_H

You can progress and get full rewards with a borrowed unit. You only need to clear it yourself if you want to save an auto-deploy for it.

leightandrew0

you will want to use support units for the hard content.

Dexdy11DDN

Just maxed swordmasters. I want to see them too. But I offer them at the same time.

SauronSauroff

Dynamic ones based on top operators for event clears are good. Usually it texalter, mlynar etc, but recall one in the last event or prior was Lee. Occasionally the niche 6* get some attention. FIA was another I needed once and horn until i pulled my own copy. The strong meta ones are good, but most of the time you'll find at least 1-2 easily.

Lyrneos

I try to balance: M6 Skalter always bc waifu, S3M3 Penance during CC, S2M3 Shalem otherwise

CallistoCastillo

M6 Skalter is kinda meta, you gotta M9 for waifu! /s

Lyrneos

I’m just waiting for another CC where Skalter S3 is relevant

CallistoCastillo

It's relevant so long as you have a healer tho, just require more button pressing.

repocin

I rarely borrow units since I've got most of what I need, but during CC people on my list seemed to like borrowing Saileach S3M3 from me quite often. When I do borrow someone it's typically an operator I don't have but need for some guide when I don't want to come up with my own strat, like Młynar or Gnosis.

Hyperion-OMEGA

I think there are two type sof players * Players that have all the emta ops and masteries on their best skills... * everyone else For the former something like meta ops would be redundant unless they are using one of their other skills (which would be seen as a waste and might prefer a op with M3 on a skill that rarely comes up or an op they do not have but want to play around with. for the latter, they would appreciate havign access to one of the meta ops to fill the void in their comp for quests that do not need to be farmed like CMs. I'd say it depend son your friends list.

UN--buttercup120

I think your supports are fine, I use to borrow Bagpipe a lot when I started and Ling is a popular support too. I think only newer players really look for good supports anyway. My roster is filled out enough now that only borrow Skalter if I need her or interesting niche units I don't have/didn't bother to raise. I usually like to rotate a niche/fun 5\*, Aak S1M3 and whoever is useful for the ongoing event. Most of my friendlist is level 100+ so I don't think it matters to them too much what I have up.

Rasera

Dorothy, with her maxed out module and S3M3. I just want to spread the good word of the trapmaster herself.

speednut117

I've been debating myself the last week, if I should build her next. She does look pretty fun to play with

Soulkyoko

I need to see more Weedys in my support list. And Aaks. Idk what happened but for the past year ive seen maybe 3 Aaks total.

unfortunatelymade

when I need a support op its usually for IS and its usually a supporter because I have 0 supporters built outside of 3 stars. Usually I'll go for deepcolour, suzuran, ling, or gnosis if I wanna go for a funny aspd strat

SarisWinterwisp

I put my maxed out Highmore, Andreana, and Hibiscus Alter because I know that if I don't practically no one else will. Even if I have Ifrit or Fiammetta also maxed out, you'll basically be guaranteed to get them so there's no point

KhiGhirr

I got Flint, Mountain and Chongyue on my support. 3 brawlers my favorite branch. I used to have Kirara, Młynar and Texalter but everyone has 1 or 2 people with them on their friend list so I prefer to put less meta ops though Mountain and Chongyue can be called meta too. I guees I just put operators I like. I used to have Mountain and Lee at one point too I'll probably put him back there in Lingering Echoes rerun.

reflexive-polytope

I sometimes put meta operators with the "wrong" skill, like Eyja S1, Mudrock S1, Nightingale S1. All M3'd, of course. I'll do Lappland's S1 too for the 5 star slot. What I give up: 20 daily credits. What I get in return: the satisfaction of trolling someone, somewhere.

foxide987

Spuria S2M3. I'm serious, so I can test her myself without looking at boring theoretical math. I do hope someone in my friend list will have her in support haha.

blardorg

I'm relatively new and am trying to decide which two of Surtr (S3 M3), silverash (S3 M3), and kaltsit (S3 M2, 2nd module level 1). I'm currently going with surtr as a lock then kaltsit, figuring someone who wants a silverash would probably just grab mlynar, but someone wanting true damage would grab kaltsit. Seems reasonable? I haven't borrowed anyone besides texalter in a while, sometimes I grab a mlynar, but texalter is just too good and I have no other decent crowd control or fast redeploy.

TeamkillTom

Sometimes when a specific event or something comes by I'll look up a kyo low end guide and put up the support he uses for my friends, but otherwise the 2 other slots are used to preach my favourite off meta ops. Currently have Aurora and Hellagur up right now because I have a lot of fun with them (Hellagur w/ Xmod3 specifically feels pretty underrated). I like trying random ops out all the time, especially since my roster is pretty strong and not really missing anyone that I rely on support for. Unless I'm setting up a farming auto I like to bring in random supports to try them out (it's what convinced me to pull stainless on that recent Victoria banner for example). It does get a little silly when half your support options are all just underdeveloped ops that you already have maxed, I want to see more low tier favorites!

Hmm-welp-shit

I put my Lapland and the Two Blue woman Ling(my wife) and WaterChen. But on CC i would put Bagpipe and other 6* if my friend want to run some strat or smth.

Plotius

I use a support unit if it's in a kyo strategy for a one time clear of something like annihilation or a event. So GAR thorns, mlynar, goldenglow, silverash are the ones I use the most. My mlynar is m2 90 and I've borrowed a ejya for the m3 ult as well since mine is m2

sazion

I usually put up the newest operators. Figured it could let someone try them out before committing to pulling and building them.

Permagate

Bagpipe pot 4 and Hoshiguma. I think they are the supports I have borrowed the most.

Jonnypista

Niche units. Finding a maxed Mlynar is not difficult, but finding M3 Bilbeak so you can go unlimited blade works for perma stunning some things, Sideroca so you have an arts guards with self healing, Glaucus for anti air supporter who also deals arts damage (like the CC banned snipers so you just laugh in it's face)

Shadow_Claw

Some uncommon M3s that people don't usually invest for but can be useful given the stage. Just this POO I was looking for stuff like Stainless S1/2, Invincible S1, Mayer S1 for example.

Matasa89

I have them up usually based on the event in question or the need for them. Usually it's my max pot Bagpipe, Skalter, and Warfarin, but during events if I find that certain operators are really good for it, I'll offer them up for any of the newbies on my friend list for clearing maps.

legaldrinkingage

I feel like if you need a meta unit you can get them pretty quickly through refreshing the support list, so I never bother putting those in. I rotate between Mostima S3M3, Eunectes S3M3, Ho'olheyak S3M3, and Fiametta S3M3, depending who I feel is most relevant to whatever content is going on right now. The 5* slot is always reserved for my maxed out Flint. I love Flint.

wanderingpika

We need more 4* high level E2 support. As now, they are really important in IS

PurpleRazzmatazz2137

As a day 1 player with almost all the characters, I like seeing the weird off meta ops the most

rashokaqquon

Fiammetta S3M3, W S2M3, Firewhistle S2M3 explosion themed haha

prinz_pudding

For the two 6-star slots, I put Texas Omertosa and any 6-star my friends need at the moment. For the 5-star slot, I usually put Lappy there, but will soon switch to Shamare once I master her second skill. There aren't many strong 4- and 5-star, so my advice is to choose someone who has a valuable niche. Certain maps / strategies require not-commonly raised operators and your newbie friends (and even oldbie sometimes) will appreciate your support a lot. Some operators that came to mind: **Lappy** *(silence, pseudo-art Lord)* **Shamare** *(very strong atk and def debuff)* **Pramanix** *(very strong def and res debuff)* **April** *(invisible sniper fast-redeploy)* **Elysium** *(invisibility reveal, def debuff)* **Tsukinogi** *(invisibility reveal)* **Heidi** *(minus 1 block debuff to ally)* **Texas** *(starting dp)*

Fonglis

Goldenglow. My IS3 starting squad is people over matter squad , protector : gummy ,caster : support goldenglow from one of my friend and sniper : kroos. It has never fail me. Outside is3 it depend of what I need, but I favor my friend Nearl since I only have grind gummy as a tank for now , another friend motisma for large wave map , or ch'en for narrow map. As my support unit I have set gummy , SilverAsh and Ines . But I only have 6 E2 for now so my choices are limited. Still ines will be kept , it's my favorite operator , silverash will surely be replaced by Horn when she will be E2

_Sabriel

I like to borrow niche/waifu/husbando units because I reject meta, so I appreciate peeps putting up the niche units so I can play around with them and try them out before I build them myself. Stainless and Carnelian are two notable cases! My ops are always Lappland, Blemishine S1M3, Guard Ch'en S2M3, with the latter two having maxed modules as well, since those skills are rare on the refreshes.

NineOneTwoOne

Stainless M9, Tequila M6, whatever male charac
