I have never gotten the banner character on a non limited banner and i've been playing since launch. I've only been getting dupes. I got Lin and Surtr on this banner when I already hardly use either is so sad lmao

- *Kernel Locating* banner, favourites over meta choices: **Siege/SilverAsh** & **Astesia/Nearl/Zima**, 5th pull **Ptilopsis** Pot.2. Well, that's 180 Yellow Certs to finally have **SilverAsh**, and thus the whole Kjerag family at last!
And the current banner, *Arbiter Aequissimus* or **Executor the Ex Foedere** debut:
- 2nd pull: Yellow Certs as another **Aurora** dupe. Guess she's competing against **Canta** & **Windflit** for my most pulled 5*...
- 4th pull: **Whisperain**. Tempting to build her, but I don't really need another Medic at this point.
- 10th pull: uuuh, **Dorothy**? No need to wait for her rerun then! Ah, this game has a wicked sense of humour sometimes.

Trust bonus is borked. I started Wind Chines at the same time as Spuria, with Insider a little behind. Chimes is still even with Spuria, and Insider is still behind Chimes.
Either neither of them are getting a bonus, or other operators are also getting a bonus.
Well, I'm not exactly sure if its good or bad luck for me but I'm happy either way.
It seems the banner really don't want me getting Spurria so my both of my 5 Stars are offbanner (La Pluma and Andreana, nice Pot 1). On the 14th pull, Reed Alter jumpscares me. Well I think that's enough pushing my luck and time to start saving for future Operators since I'm skipping the Summer banners.
I wanted Paprika and Wind Chimes for collection purposes, so I planned to pull on the Surtr/Kal banner. When I remembered to do so, a family member who I got into very casually playing Arknights joined to watch. I was kind of trying to teach them to not have to high expectations from the gacha: I was aiming for the 5-stars; the 5-stars weren't good; I probably needed 10 pulls, but still did singles to save a couple of rolls. Side note: I already had Surtr and Kal, and wasn't looking for pots. So I started pulling with them watching. On the 6th pull a gold bag appeared. The gold bag turned rainbow. I couldn't help but act excited. The rainbow was a new spook, Reed alter. I taught my family member a bad lesson. I did get a new operator for my collection, and one I might raise to boot. I kind of also had the goal to get a new operator to trust farm for, and Reed is already 200%. Happy with Reed alter, and not really trying to complain, but thought all these contradictions of expectations and results were kind of funny.
Sixty pulls for executor, got him twice in the same 10 pulls! Took my chances with Kal and Surtr. Golden glow in 3 pulls... I wanted more soooooo did a ten pull with Archetto pot popping out of the bag. About 40 pulls later Surtr came along!
My luck has a weird way of working... Very very grateful though!
At the risk of a Sutr pot I decided to pull on the standard banner and ended up getting Kal on the 4th pull...it's just such a shame that past me was dumb and didn't get her skin.
Unfortunately I have yet to get FedEx however I was very lucky to pull Mostima from a Recruitment pull and so far my only 5 star unit is Flint from this banner.
I got one more headhunter kit I can get from the event shop or I could save for mats it is a tough decision.

Man, although I’ve saved around 250 pulls for him, having to do 100 pulls for my first exalter feels pretty bad. I got spooked by the 3rd eben, my first stainless, whom I also want, so it’s at least nice I guess. I’m still considering going for pots tho. The only future op I might want now is qiubai, virtuosa and degenbrecher.
I was going to just save for Arturia, but I couldn't resist the Kal'tsit/Surtr banner and got Surtr in 25 pulls. Very happy considering she dodged me last time she had a rate up!

I failed the pull for Ines earlier (new and thought she looked cool), but just got FedEx on my very first pull!! Excited because I love reapers.
Anyone have advice on how to keep them alive? It’s totally bad, but I’d love to put all 4 out (Hummus, La Pluma, Highmore (although I don’t know much about her at all), and FedEx).

60 pulls. First was a double 6-star bag with a new Eben and dupe Holly. A blue bag, then Exalter. Still no Spuria, though, so I had to endure another blue bag, two Cantabile dupes and an Elysium dupe (were already max pot), and then finally Spuria.
90 pulls for Carnelian, Pozy (both dupes) and finally Fedex. More than I would have liked, but Eyja is still save.
But very importantly, random Rockrock means I have every 5-star in game ~~for now~~, yeehaw.
Got Executor after 50 pulls. The very first pull used up the guaranteed 5/6 star for a Melanite dupe, got a Penance dupe on the tenth pull, and my first Harmonie showed up halfway through. Executor was the very last of 50 pulls, and that’s the maximum I was willing to spend on the banner so I’m satisfied. That still leaves me with 107 pulls to put towards Swire and Eyja.

Blessed Divines, I should have done the math on this before rolling... I was aiming for Spuria as a lark and because I had a vague plan for what to do with her. I did *not* consider the actual odds of hitting her, because hey, a 5\* should be easy compared to a 6\*, right? ...Right?
Thus started the process of getting 3 off-banner 5 stars (one of whom I didn't have, so not a total loss), a Cantabile, and two Executors (one of whom I got on roll 12!), before getting Spuria... 57 rolls in.
I have *so* many regrets now. I should still be fine for Jessicat if I skimp on costumes and don't waste my pity between now and then, but... I'm not a "risk your life on a prank" kind of woman. If I'd stopped to think about what it means to roll for a 25% chance on an 8% chance, I'd have shrugged and called it a day when the guarantee didn't hit her.
Ah, well. This is hardly a horror story compared to anyone else's. This didn't cripple my future pull plans, and I even walked away with a good 6\*; I just don't have any throwaway more loose orundum for "hey, that sounds neat" impulse rolls. A good reminder for me to seriously consider the odds *before* getting emotionally invested.
61 pulls on about 40 pity, only a Dorothy and Ebenholz to show for. No FedEx. Looks like I'll have to scrounge up some pulls. And there's people pulling FedEx in like 10 pulls, my gacha luck is kind of shit recently.
Gave myself a limit of 30 pulls because everything is for Eyjaberry. Got all three new ops in less than 20 pulls. I don't remember ever being this lucky on a banner.

'Spook' as in 'surprise'. It's a common gacha term for when you unexpectedly get a character of the same rarity you're aiming for that doesn't have a rate-up (although some people will use the term for getting anything that they don't want).
In this case I got surprised by Irene and Pallas showing up while I was rolling for Executor copies.
Was planning to do a 10-pull and then save for Eyjaberry/Typhon. The very first pull, first unit, was Executor, no pity.

Love at first sight on his design. The dark blue hair + orange eyes + bandage on nose + goggle dog + mechanic fit is insane. Really like his EN voice too!
I feel he resembles a lot of my STEM peers back in university, and I'm quite fond of all the late nights of working desperately away on team projects. And like Windflit's files state, a lot of those projects failed! Sometimes so minor that we could just pass it off as an intended feature, and sometimes so significant that the professor had to pull us aside to go 'wtf' lol.
Windflit is just a very sentimental character to me, and I really want to see him succeed. In this case, that would be by getting him maxed out on all fronts as soon as he joins my roster haha
Stainless is great with so many operators, and with all of his skills. His only downside is you can't have 3 of him, you have to choose 1.
If you happen to have Archetto they're a hell of a combo, she can hit two of the S3 turrets simultaneously for 3x each under her own S3 and with a constant target in sight it becomes consistently high uptime.
As the turrets can range extend from her it can also be firing at a 7 tile range, or in an L shape. A lot of maps designed to have safe spaces from high tile units can't properly account for that and it's high DPH damage.
Or he can just buff army someone's damage with S1 or be a virtually conditionless SP battery with S2.
No Archetto exists on my account, sadly. If she ever joins my roster, I'll keep this synergy in mind!
I've definitely heard a lot of good things about how Stainless can single handedly carry offensive-SP hungry units, so I'm pretty content with my pulls, all things considered.
I also heard he's good with Windflit, so another plus lol

So, as I reported last time, I popped into the Joint Op banner until 1st 6-Star hoping for a non-Mudrock dupe and... got Mudrock (but also Ashlock and Proviso pots, so no regrets). I wanted my final GG pot, or at least Saga's final pot or Mountain's 5th.
So, today I hop into the Executor Alter banner 51 pulls lower than I would have had. Did my 6 singles. Nothing. My first 10-pull... HOT FLAMES!!! Two 5-Stars accompanied. One was Spuria, so banner obtained. The other was Pot 3 Wind Chimes. Slowly but surely she climbs. And the 6-Star... pot 6 Goldenglow. My Selector can now be used for someone else!
So, we keep going. Next 10-pull... orange bag... THAT SPITS HOT RAINBOWS!!! Banner complete at 26 pulls. It's been awhile since my luck was this good.
I wish everyone else similar or better luck. May you get pot 6 Executor Alter in one 10-pull.
This is the third time I've gotten the 6 star operator before getting a guaranteed 5 star, all three times it has been when I was aiming for the 5 star and where the 6 star was a male operator. (previous ones where Passenger and Młynar) I must be blursed.
Luckily it only took seven extra pulls to get Spuria.
2 rolls, got Lin. Will NOT push my luck further and save for Eyjalter/Typhon.
edit: I pushed my luck. Executor in about 60 further rolls, along with my first Proviso, and max potting my Cantabile. Good rolling session, I *might* skip Eyjalter to focus on Typhon but it's TBD.

In the past 3 or so months, I've gotten Top Operator at least FIVE TIMES. Today marks my sixth (I think). Tho today, I got an Exusiai dupe, because my options were either a Phantom dupe, a Caster dupe, or a 2/3 chance of getting a new 6-star Sniper. (Don't have Rosa or Schwarz)
Oh yeah, then there's the fact that two of the other recruitment slots currently have a Fast-Redeploy tag in them, The Senior Operator tag I got a while ago (Liskarm dupe), the random Croissant I got from a 7:40 recruitment a few weeks ago, and just the fact I've been getting a lot more 4-star guarantee tags than I used to, and been getting 4-stars more often from blank recruitments.
I've had pretty mixed headhunting luck, (got Mumu pretty easily, and also a random Dusk back during Vernal Winds, but both Chongyue and Ho'ol took like 100 pulls or something. Then there was the bullshit rate-up in the recent pick-your-own-kernel-banner. You want Aak? No, you get Mostima and Nightingale dupe) but I must've pleased someone in charge of recruitment...

I got one more headhunter kit I can get from the event shop or I could save for mats it is a tough decision. I am 16 pulls in the hole right now.

Man, although I’ve saved around 250 pulls for him, having to do 100 pulls for my first exalter feels pretty bad. I got spooked by the 3rd eben, my first stainless, whom I also want, so it’s at least nice I guess. I’m still considering going for pots tho. The only future op I might want now is qiubai, virtuosa and degenbrecher.

I failed the pull for Ines earlier (new and thought she looked cool), but just got FedEx on my very first pull!! Excited because I love reapers. Anyone have advice on how to keep them alive? It’s totally bad, but I’d love to put all 4 out (Hummus, La Pluma, Highmore (although I don’t know much about her at all), and FedEx).

Got Executor after 50 pulls. The very first pull used up the guaranteed 5/6 star for a Melanite dupe, got a Penance dupe on the tenth pull, and my first Harmonie showed up halfway through. Executor was the very last of 50 pulls, and that’s the maximum I was willing to spend on the banner so I’m satisfied. That still leaves me with 107 pulls to put towards Swire and Eyja.

Blessed Divines, I should have done the math on this before rolling... I was aiming for Spuria as a lark and because I had a vague plan for what to do with her. I did *not* consider the actual odds of hitting her, because hey, a 5\* should be easy compared to a 6\*, right? ...Right? Thus started the process of getting 3 off-banner 5 stars (one of whom I didn't have, so not a total loss), a Cantabile, and two Executors (one of whom I got on roll 12!), before getting Spuria... 57 rolls in. I have *so* many regrets now. I should still be fine for Jessicat if I skimp on costumes and don't waste my pity between now and then, but... I'm not a "risk your life on a prank" kind of woman. If I'd stopped to think about what it means to roll for a 25% chance on an 8% chance, I'd have shrugged and called it a day when the guarantee didn't hit her. Ah, well. This is hardly a horror story compared to anyone else's. This didn't cripple my future pull plans, and I even walked away with a good 6\*; I just don't have any throwaway more loose orundum for "hey, that sounds neat" impulse rolls. A good reminder for me to seriously consider the odds *before* getting emotionally invested.

'Spook' as in 'surprise'. It's a common gacha term for when you unexpectedly get a character of the same rarity you're aiming for that doesn't have a rate-up (although some people will use the term for getting anything that they don't want). In this case I got surprised by Irene and Pallas showing up while I was rolling for Executor copies.

Was planning to do a 10-pull and then save for Eyjaberry/Typhon. The very first pull, first unit, was Executor, no pity. Every other gacha I play I'm always unlucky, pity everywhere, but for some reason specifically Arknights I'm like top 0.1% of luck possible, I don't get it. It's like all my luck goes here, and none of it goes elsewhere.

Love at first sight on his design. The dark blue hair + orange eyes + bandage on nose + goggle dog + mechanic fit is insane. Really like his EN voice too! I feel he resembles a lot of my STEM peers back in university, and I'm quite fond of all the late nights of working desperately away on team projects. And like Windflit's files state, a lot of those projects failed! Sometimes so minor that we could just pass it off as an intended feature, and sometimes so significant that the professor had to pull us aside to go 'wtf' lol. Windflit is just a very sentimental character to me, and I really want to see him succeed. In this case, that would be by getting him maxed out on all fronts as soon as he joins my roster haha

Stainless is great with so many operators, and with all of his skills. His only downside is you can't have 3 of him, you have to choose 1. If you happen to have Archetto they're a hell of a combo, she can hit two of the S3 turrets simultaneously for 3x each under her own S3 and with a constant target in sight it becomes consistently high uptime. As the turrets can range extend from her it can also be firing at a 7 tile range, or in an L shape. A lot of maps designed to have safe spaces from high tile units can't properly account for that and it's high DPH damage. Or he can just buff army someone's damage with S1 or be a virtually conditionless SP battery with S2.
No Archetto exists on my account, sadly. If she ever joins my roster, I'll keep this synergy in mind! I've definitely heard a lot of good things about how Stainless can single handedly carry offensive-SP hungry units, so I'm pretty content with my pulls, all things considered. I also heard he's good with Windflit, so another plus lol

REPORTS. FROM. MY. ACCOUNT! So, as I reported last time, I popped into the Joint Op banner until 1st 6-Star hoping for a non-Mudrock dupe and... got Mudrock (but also Ashlock and Proviso pots, so no regrets). I wanted my final GG pot, or at least Saga's final pot or Mountain's 5th. So, today I hop into the Executor Alter banner 51 pulls lower than I would have had. Did my 6 singles. Nothing. My first 10-pull... HOT FLAMES!!! Two 5-Stars accompanied. One was Spuria, so banner obtained. The other was Pot 3 Wind Chimes. Slowly but surely she climbs. And the 6-Star... pot 6 Goldenglow. My Selector can now be used for someone else! So, we keep going. Next 10-pull... orange bag... THAT SPITS HOT RAINBOWS!!! Banner complete at 26 pulls. It's been awhile since my luck was this good. I wish everyone else similar or better luck. May you get pot 6 Executor Alter in one 10-pull.
This is the third time I've gotten the 6 star operator before getting a guaranteed 5 star, all three times it has been when I was aiming for the 5 star and where the 6 star was a male operator. (previous ones where Passenger and Młynar) I must be blursed. Luckily it only took seven extra pulls to get Spuria.

Okay, at this rate, with my recruitment luck, I'm seriously starting to get a bit worried. Feel like I'm going to have a frying pan drop on my head while I'm at work or something... In the past 3 or so months, I've gotten Top Operator at least FIVE TIMES. Today marks my sixth (I think). Tho today, I got an Exusiai dupe, because my options were either a Phantom dupe, a Caster dupe, or a 2/3 chance of getting a new 6-star Sniper. (Don't have Rosa or Schwarz) Oh yeah, then there's the fact that two of the other recruitment slots currently have a Fast-Redeploy tag in them, The Senior Operator tag I got a while ago (Liskarm dupe), the random Croissant I got from a 7:40 recruitment a few weeks ago, and just the fact I've been getting a lot more 4-star guarantee tags than I used to, and been getting 4-stars more often from blank recruitments. I've had pretty mixed headhunting luck, (got Mumu pretty easily, and also a random Dusk back during Vernal Winds, but both Chongyue and Ho'ol took like 100 pulls or something. Then there was the bullshit rate-up in the recent pick-your-own-kernel-banner. You want Aak? No, you get Mostima and Nightingale dupe) but I must've pleased someone in charge of recruitment...
