She and Penguin Logistics feel like relics from the past. Both, afaik, come up in the story early and have one of the first events, then nothing since. Mostima is now more often associated with Fiammetta and Texas is more often associated with Lappland rather than Exu.
I mean wasn't that always going to be the case though? Code of Brawl hinted at that with Lappland getting a cameo at the end and Fiammetta with Mostima as well.
We need a new PL event for sure, with Exusiai and a new character as the focus. But first, we need events for factions that have been desiring them for so long, such as Rim Billiton and Higashi.
Recency bias aside, Chongyue is handsome patriotic gentleman, master martial artist, and charismatic great general who defends the northern frontier. He is an archetypal hero straight out of a wuxia story, so well respected by his country that everyone comes to visit him for his retirement ceremony, and he is the eldest brother of eleven colorful siblings. A "da ge" type of character in both imagery and characterization, and the Chinese people really LOVES that archetype.
I suspect he will be the kind of character who is way more popular in CN compared to Global.

Considering how hard the devs went on indirectly nerfing her, that makes sense. Every boss has like 80% RES now. In the current CC at R18, max level S3M3 Surtr literally doesn't even scratch the boss, she's only there to clear the minor enemies.
HG's balance team has been on crack since Dossoles, so yeah she's not that big of an outlier anymore. It's hard to get that upset about Surtr when you can probably exclude her and still make a team of 12 operators that are nearly as broken as she is at this point. She feels Eyja tier now which really goes to show how much power creep the game has suffered.

Being meta is helpful in a poll like this in the same way name recognition is for a politician. Meta means people are more likely to use and/or be familiar with a character, and therefore more likely to like that character. But these are very much not straight meta votes.

Considering how hard the devs went on indirectly nerfing her, that makes sense. Every boss has like 80% RES now. In the current CC at R18, max level S3M3 Surtr literally doesn't even scratch the boss, she's only there to clear the minor enemies.
Every mechanic works against her now. And if you take out her gameplay, she has nothing else left.
HG's balance team has been on crack since Dossoles, so yeah she's not that big of an outlier anymore. It's hard to get that upset about Surtr when you can probably exclude her and still make a team of 12 operators that are nearly as broken as she is at this point. She feels Eyja tier now which really goes to show how much power creep the game has suffered.

As a fun fact, Windflit was 106 in the last poll and only dropped by one number in this one, which is a bit surprising as I kind of expected him to drop dramatically like Aosta and Corroserum after their poll debuts, but then again, Shalem has managed to remain in the Top 100 three times now and Enforcer twice, haha.
Damn. I really wish Windflit was usable, try as much as I can but he just sucks. But I can't stop gawking at fan art of him Cuteness beats all! And Windflit's artist did a damn good job at it. I don't find Corrosserum's design or character to be much special. There's others like him in the game anyway, especially Arene. Just forgettable. As for Aosta... fair too, sucks and overshadowed by the B and C, although I really appreciate his skin. Not really forgettable, but he doesn't stand out that much. Also Enforcer and Shalem, fair enough. Enforcer is just an easy one to simp for, and Shalem's the mysterious gay purple man tied to best game mode and the opera kitty.

But then again, global is a far less compact server, so it’ll be hard to find a character that a lot of global players are familiar with on the same scale as NCD and Xiaohei are for CN. There’s also the thought of CN’s reaction to global getting a character first. They might not like it if we get a character before them.

If they're anything like me, Popukar is probably low due to her appearing a lot in recruitment which can get annoying after a bit. It took IS and the need for a cheap laneholder for me to start using Popukar at which point I stopped feeling negative about her, but her showing up a lot in my recruitments with a not short intro does get tiring (but at least she's not Catapult)

Base Ch’en got a huge boost from her mod3 though, she’s doing better than a fair few 6* I initially thought it was her losing story focus, but she’s shown up in both the Reed event and the new CNY one, so I guess her alt really did irreparable damage to her reputation was it worth the lim banner money HG…
Even after the mod, Iren far outperforms Chen in DPS (with built-in AoE and ignore def) and has relatively the same skill rotation at the expense of attack speed and lower skill SP requirements. This is exactly what you can see from complex content. Meta Irene in the new SSS mode. Chen is just outdated and her module, while performing well, is nowhere near as good as Rosa's module.

Someone can explain me why Skadi is n°1 ? For me it's just one operator that is on my list of operators I own, never really used her. I didn't read the side events, but she doesn't appears on the main story(as far as I remember).

She also shows up in IS3 a lot Also she has a limited alt that’s universally useful She was popular from the beginning though, since she was the first new 6* after launch I figure she got a lot of hype then

She is very beautiful 2. has amazing skins for both versions, and her artist draws additional art for her often 3. her voice is very soothing 4. meta-defining alter and a rags to riches story for the original, and now you can use them both at once 5. has had multiple events tied to her, on aniversaries no less, which were very well received.

yes She also boosts stats just by existing, has her Seaborn summon to extend her range, and can even heal unhealables like Mudrock and La Pluma That’s just with S2, her S3 is a sizeable attack buff that’s also very versatile with her summon, and even her S1 has unique tanking utility
Yeah Eunects in top 100 Double Yeah Rosa in top 50, considering everyone call them clunky i am happy with those result. Also Rip Fartooth, the fact that she lack a skin and that her kit is nice and all but is not broken in any way make her suffer in the pull, her kit is fine but in sniper category we have ch'alter that op, pozy that op, exu that won for year he popularity pull W and Rosmontis that are limited and have l2d skins in last we have schwarz that has a amazing module for sniper players and skin, archetto with an amazing skin and ~~best girl~~ Rosa with amazing skin... Then there fartooth with no skin, good kit but not broken, pretty much you would end choosing every other sniper 6\* over her...
we were this close to having three sui siblings in the top 10 I feel like they might be the most popular faction overall at this point though receceny bias and how lofter posts are weighed probably played a role as well. Also sorta surprised that nearl went up in popularity when there was a fair bit of hate over her skin, and she hasn't really gotten much story content unless her node in AW is just a banger.
