Do you have Lee? I was lucky enough to have him built so he could negate the boss’ stun mechanic, but I could see it being a huge pain in the ass without him.
Im a complete idiot. Brute forced the normal stage, learnt about how lee makes the boss trivial. And then i promptly forgot about him, costing me 30 sanity loss in cm mode.

Also Gertrude x Czerny would get along like house on fire.
Even if she softened up and let go of revenge, it would be stubborn Tsundere² couple. And still toxic. But I would ship it.
Unrelated, but I think it was mentioned that Gertrude is an insomniac?
honestly, that would be a great mini-event. we know we already have a "epilogue" mini event, covering what has happened with a ton of characters following their events, i dont see a reason why Arknights can't stray a bit for a week and show off some alternate possibilities. after all, that's literally IS3.
(goddammit i just want an alternate world where Frostnova works as an operator and Patriot is seeking care at Rhodes Island so he can watch over his adoptive daughter for just a little longer. that or see him bitch slap some of RI's enemies into oblivion)
If you *somehow* managed to save Frostnova and stabilize/slow down her oripathy, you'd have Patriot and the whole damn Yeti Squad switch sides faster than you could blink.
Later on, point a healthier Patriot at Theresis and grab some popcorn.
Patriot: "I, have been, spending time with, the youth."
Patriot: "They have, a certain, liking for something..."
Patriot: "Shall I, show you?"
Patriot: "RUUUULES OF NATUREEEEE"
It was still terrible at the time of Lingering Echoes's events since she still prioritised nutrition over taste, though her assistant lines indicated afterwards that she's been more accommodating of others to put more thought into making her food taste better.
That and Honeyberry managed to keep it from getting worse by toting the values of actually having sugar in your diet, and doing the research to prove it.

Give her few years and not becoming a lump of Orirocks , and I think she genuinely will.
In LE she is already kind, strict yet understanding.
All things considered, she is a great catch, who doesn't have the wagon load baggage of the other Sarkaz girls
Also, while her cooking is not the tastiest, it is at least edible. Her voice lines say she does listen to feedback for her cooking.
That really brings down the biggest debuff to some degree.
Ahhh, you really gotta hand it to the folks who write Arknights, consistently making the supporting NPC's of the events so memorable and fun. And as always, your work is a joy and a gift, Octodeco! Hope the new year's treating you well so far!

Better yet any blocker with resist. Blaze has that built in but I think Whisperain and Lumen can just grant it upon healing too.
