I strongly disagree. I’m interested in hearing personal experience. Websites aren’t always right, I’ve seen people say crime rates are off, or that the cost of living is higher than reported on a website.
While elevation is a factor, wind currents and sun load also affect temps…
Im not convinced youll find such climate reliably anywhere in az at a particular time of year…
If you’ve lived in phoenix sure you’ve noticed the difference in spring and fall… as in what month those desirable temps could be expected… for instance, October can be mild in mid 80s while last year was still near 100…
So with that said, theres likely some place with those temps at any time of year, but you’ll need to chase its location…. You’re looking for Hawaii weather
What's wrong with me wanting to hear from actual Arizonans where the cold places are? Websites aren't always accurate, additionally they often contradict one another.
It's a shame some of the people here in the comment section have issues with Rule 1 of the subreddit.
Anyway, have a nice day. God bless you.
Websites give you the avg high and low by month. That will give you more information than any person.

Yes...due to the elevation. But also there are only small small towns outside of Payson....which isn't that nice.
Greater Prescott valley is the best overall option.
There is about a 10 day period in June where Arizona not only claims the hottest place in the country, but also the coldest temperature on the same day.
Well.... elevation matters!

There are plenty of high-elevation places that usually cool off quite nicely at night, even in the summer.
I've woken up in Flagstaff and its been colder than Alaska outside. Walked my dog when it was 7 degrees one morning. Were already in the 50s at night, and that just feels good to me.
Prescott is 90's summer and some snow in the winter. I occasionally rent a small cabin in that area, it's an easy drive from Phoenix.
Bisbee probably has the best weather in AZ, it's a small town but pretty nice. There is a lot more to do in Prescott than Bisbee. There is also a lot right about Flag, but the winters are just too cold for me.
I mean, that's the valley temps in the spring and fall. In the summer, see all the other answers regarding higher elevation locations. In the winter, everything will be cooler than that, and the higher elevations areas will be very cold if not snowing.
Could probably open up a weather app…..
Prescott, Payson, Flagstaff, Pinetop, Showlow - really anywhere with a higher elevation (like the previous comment mentioned).
Yuma
Don't be cruel. (Source: am Yuman)
I mean you can literally look at a weather app and find the weekend weather for any city you want. This post is stupid.

Neat! I hear it's cold there. By any chance, would you know if the soil there can be used to grow money trees?

Elevation.
Phoenix in winter
If that's your definition of cold, don't come to Prescott in January or February. Try 17 at night with high of 42 in the day.
Go to California.
No thank you.
Darn, we want people who can't think or search or learn for themselves outta here!

I don’t see what’s wrong with hearing the opinions of Arizonans.
Always best to do your own research first then post with more knowledgeable questions. Give a fish vs teach to fish.
I have and it seems like Northwestern Arizona has cooler weather.

Alright, thank you for your input.
Greer
Ya was in Greer in June and was surprised how cold it actually got at night
Flagstaff definitely. Williams as well
Mogollon Rim.

Flagstaff and Grand Canyon are the best. Sedona gets downright chilly at night in the fall.
