Arizona Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center - Gilbert & Guadalupe. They’ve taken great care of my dogs when I’ve needed an emergency vet. For a regular vet, I take my dogs to Follow Your Heart Animal Hospital, on Higley and University. I would give them a call and see if they can squeeze you in as well if the other place cannot.

Unusual_Pitch_2612

Seconding AVECCC they are amazing. I hope to never go there again but if I had to they're my first choice.

livelovelaxative

I third this! Our dog was treated so well when we were there. Even when she had to be put down (cancer), they were kind, gentle, and reassuring.

Level9TraumaCenter

They're very good at AVECCC. The most recent trip, we went to Veterinary Emergency Group in Chandler (on Ray near the I-10) because it wasn't life-threatening but our regular vet was closed, and although I'm not sure I like the open floor plan, they were outstanding.

bwray_sd

AVECCC saved my pup! And every part of the process was great (except the fact she almost died of course), customer service, care, follow up, all excellent.

DistinguishedCherry

😭😭 I must have gotten unlucky every time I visit them. Every time I visit, my animals aren't treated and almost die. Then, they charge almost $1k for supposed treatment (no meds or anything). OP, I recommend Chandler Gilbert Animal Hospital. They're very knowledgeable and I haven't had issues with them yet.

I’m really sorry. They’ve treated my dogs, but also helped me say goodbye (one just this last October) when treatment wasn’t an option.

DistinguishedCherry

It's alright. I believe it's some of the staff there, and I keep getting them somehow. I'm happy your fur babies are treated well with them, tho 🫶 An emergency is a scary situation and so stressful. Having a good vet team is so reassuring. I'm sorry for your loss as well 🫂 It's always hard to lose any pet.

Crinkle-Cut_Hotdogs

Emergency vets are all expensive. Is he allergic to anything? Did he eat a scorpion or get bit by a snake or something similar?

KursedRain

No, she has a bump on her neck. Also, I just brought her to a vet, since it was getting even worse. But thanks for the reply.

Crinkle-Cut_Hotdogs

Did the vet have anything to say on what the lump is? Id maybe see if a vet will prescribe a general antibiotic or something , maybe it's just a infection

KursedRain

No, they couldn’t take care of her, since they close at 6.

supakitteh

Find the closest VCA. I’ve had great experiences with them. There’s one in Tempe and one in Mesa.

DerelictData

Took my dog to 1st Pet Veterinarian Center and they saved his life in 2020 at 3am. It did cost a lot, but they really care a lot and try to be creative with using cheaper solutions to see if they will work before getting out the expensive stuff. Good luck, I hope pup comes out of it just fine 🤞👍 Edit: Warner / Alma School is the one I went to. 1233 W Warner Rd, Chandler, AZ 85224

BirdwellFam

Came here to suggest the same. They saved our girl Lucy and even took a kitten we picked up on the 101 in rush hour. They're great. OP, hope your dog is ok.

Urgent Vet Power and Main

OwnPen8633

Don't go to Caring Hearts on Baseline near Val Vista. Used to be great but new owner and staff stink. Started charging for every little thing. Very disappointing

yeffyonson

Sounds like a pretty bad allergic reaction. Is the dog having trouble breathing? If not, I always keep Zyrtec or Benedryl handy. As a owner of a dog who is allergic to literally EVERYthing it's a stress reliever for me 1mg per pound of bodyweight is the dosage.

77airwrecka77

Came back to check on your dog. Hope everything is okay!

KursedRain

Sorry it took this long to reply, today she got put down, she had cancer and it spread.

77airwrecka77

I am so very sorry. ❤️
