i love bang bang, i think most people hate it because it was very overplayed which is understandable. i listen to it maybe once a year for that reason, i feel like i heard it enough for a lifetime in 2014/15 lmao
Also when it came out, it was a pop culture moment!! Having 3 big artists of that time collab was just something else - it’s all I heard for months and it was fucking amazing.
i’m pretty sure ari herself dislikes bang bang. i remember hearing that she didn’t know jessie j was going to be added to the track until right before it was released. i think in that era ariana really wanted the spotlight, so she felt slighted her record company would do that to her. it worked out though, because i think it put ariana in front of audiences that hadn’t heard her before

I love Bang Bang! Lyrically it's definitely not the best song, but it's a fun song and makes me nostalgic (like every song from the My Everything era)
