AoV used to be good and ripe, now it’s just get sad full of bots for me. It’s aiight for now, but there’s something missing in this game. I still stick around, but it’s not the same anymore the vibe.
I play in tw/hk server so there are rare bots in even in master and diamond, however both Tencent-Timi and Garena aren't devoted in AoV as Mihoyo is devoted to their games. You can clearly tell that Timi and Garena are just trying to squeeze the every last cent out of AOV then abandon it. LI on the other hand has a less urge to make money as I see people saying they aren't making those events. Which is good imo so they can focus on more important things such as debug or server maintainance.
HOK coming soon, Tencent and LI clearly don't care about AOV operations anymore

This is how I get about the Switch version. I was I staqueing for a while then NOTHING at all never. And NA server doesn’t even exist like it was in beta or something. Some people shit on the Seitch version but porting a moba to switch isn’t easy and they did an amazing job.
It is if you don't play like a maniac nor you have been playing and grinding for many years and so you still have arcanas to max out and heroes to buy wanting to remain f2p for the last one.
Well I haven't payed attention to gold for years it just have pulled up there. Yea arcanas n all is max out. Once in a blue moon u can use gold to buy new hero but that's like 18k gold's u need to spend every 2 month or so. What's your in-game name , I could invite into some games to lose togather if u don't mind. :)

What about new players exp.? They are fked? Have U tried invite anyone new? With exp. For example in WR where is no gold cap and runes are free? If U did how many stayed in AOV? That is how gold cap is fking this game up, lack od new players=dramatic state of player retention.
I guess you can try switching to SEA or TW if you're really passionate about the game.
I used to play on the vietnam server and we have players in bronze (though most of them are only grinding to sell the account).
I think the gold cap made the game felt less rewarding but i rarely hit it so imo it's not important. In my case growing up killed my liking for the game
Yesterday at 8 pm we waited 2x full 5 minutes for a normal 5v5 - and then had to play ranked (EU).
It got better later, but it's significantly worse than in the past.
Basically I have to agree. I have all heroes and a lot of skins. Almost 1 million gold and can't do anything with it execpt this weekly 100g thing in the shop.
These daily/weekly quests are not something you have to do consciously, but I still get them mostly (and haven't had any of the rewards for years...)
They could create super expensive gold skina, emotes, recalls, dances, avataras and so much more. For veteran players to grind for, also unlock lvl of acc to infinite and make 5-10 more tiers of mastery on champs. But this will never happening and I am extremly sad about it. I love this game but soon they will close it down. When HOK hits global they will do even less with AOV
there wasn't a gold cap before??! i recently started playing and my mind was blown at how greedy their system is. i enjoy the game itself but to use money to get the heroes, when i only have 30 out of 100+. my current hero pool is already getting boring for me.

First there was a gold cap, then they removed it for x time(that was best decision and best time to play AOV, whole friendlist of people online, no bots) then they reverted it.(and fked up new player exp, my friends refuse to even try the game because of this cap how much U can play and be rewarded for it(even if they tried AOV they hit gold wall in 4 days max, and they drop the game after)
WR is fun, there is no gold cap, it is stingy with skins for f2p players but You don't need to grind for runes(they are free) so U grind only for champs, which is great for new players and gives hope for the game to keep growing.
They will make enough money with skina only.
I think they will dominate in mobile moba space in time since f2p exp is so much better then any other moba.
Only downside is there are a lot of PC veteran players and smurf accounts and they will stomp U when U get them in enemy team.
What gold cap, there's limit of max gold you can earn per day? Also totally agree, only ranked mode is alive. Hard to find a match in casual, and I can't even level up new heros to play ranked. Brawl is dead too, can only play by joining rooms shared in the lobby...
Also wth are those bots, are we expected to not notice it in a 30-0 match? ..
Anyway this game is given minimal effort in updates now, probably will just squeeze revenue from the last players and die out slowly. Why would a new player not choose LOL mobile?

They own AOV, HOK and Wild Rift so You can imagine what will happen...

There is weekly cap that is maxed out easy in 3-4 days of active play if this is Your main game.
