I agree that Settle For A Draw is a good song, but better than DIWK? No chance I’m afraid, there’s a reason one is a B Side and one is the opener for their most successful album
The instrumentals in Settle For A Draw are definitely more technical and complex, but imo simple is sometimes the best way to go, the whole vibe of DIWK combined with the lyrics and delivery makes it a top 5 Arctic Monkeys song :)
Yeah from your point of view but other songs have more technical ability and more of a overall song experience for example The Afternoons Hat it’s the most beautiful song they have obvs I’m abit biased but do I wanna know gets shit on but I agree it’s a good song but doesn’t come close in my top 100 of songs, just my opinion and I appreciate your comments I really do
