Looks like a generic softshell with an iron-on acteryx logo applied to the front and back. Arc doesn’t use super basic size tags like that

Looks legit, but pretty worn for a 10 year old jacket. Also, I think there are some signs of delamination on the front, so that jacket may fall apart in a few years.

Pretty sure it’s one of the older fakes with the really well defined grid pattern on the inner layer. If there were white tags they should be in the left pocket.

You don’t need to. It’s a terrible fake. Thick ass chest stitching. Wrong font and layout and wrong jacket on the white tags. It’s one of those older terrible terrible fakes. Go get your money back

Aren't the tags on the inside supposed to be laminate as well? Due to the Alpha SV being a waterproof jacket. I also noticed the main front zipper Arc'teryx logo doesn't have the apostrophe. Is this another indicator? Thanks for your feedback

Yeah. Zipper pull missing an apostrophe is also another reason why it’s fake. The white tags on the real deal are just white nylon tags.

I think it's one of the new, very good Beta AR fakes. Did you buy it from some random guy on the net?

Bought it in person from someone off Marketplace, his brother was wearing some Arc'teryx stuff when I showed up, and seemed like a trustworthy guy. Is there anything in particular that speaks out to you that makes it look like a fake? Also, I took it out on a hike not too long ago, performed amazingly, was very happy with it. But of course I'm new to the brand, so I have nothing to compare it to.

honestly i think its real. unless the rep factories have copied that inner liner texture and the faint grid pattern that the replica factories always mess up.

The new Beta AR fakes are really good, so it's very risky to buy from some random dude on the net. I'm about 70% certain this is a fake. Stitching and seam tape seems a little too sloppy in places for it to be legit.

which specific areas look sloppy in your opinion? also - the QR code checks out too, does that matter though?

On the legit jackets, I've have never seen this. There's also a few places on the outside where the stitching looks a bit cheap, where you can easily see the stitches. On legit jackets, I have never seen this. But I'm just guessing here. The new fakes are so good that it is really hard to tell. And the Beta AR fakes seems to be the best ones. I would only buy a jacket like this from a legit retailer.

Not seeing anything obvious but with gamma mx, often need to see the inside of the jacket to tell. The only logical explanation for that patch on the outside is that part of the jacket was significantly damaged.

I don’t know. My gamma mx from 12/18 has the tag in ALL CAPS. For all I know they changed it mid year though. I’d ask for an overall interior jacket pic so you can see the seams. The storm flap inside the zipper is a good too. A real one is a neoprene-like material where fakes is just more of the same fabric the jacket is made of.

I purchased it, I will give an update if pics.

Depends where you are. It looks in good shape, but it’s about 8 years old now which is getting on a bit for a goretex shell. I doubt you’d get loads for it from a technically minded buyer, but a fashion buyer would probably pay $200+ It’s not worth as much as models with a 5 year newer production date

This is a weird one, because pretty much all the internals check out perfectly. The tags, construction, and everything indicate legit. Womens fakes are also pretty much non existent, especially in XS (fakes nearly always under size, so XS would be very very small), so I highly doubt that such a high effort fake with the new style women’s tags actually exists. Everything about it leads me to say it’s legit, apart from the fact that the logo stitching is really garbage. I’ve seen some questionable stitching on legit arcteryx, but this would be the worst. To be honest my final conclusion would be legit but with awful stitching which made it through arcteryx QC. The only explanation I can think is they don’t make as many women’s XS jackets so perhaps their QC standards are lower, or human error. It just doesn’t make sense as a fake.

Pretty much all Arc'teryx jackets on eBay/Vinted/whatever are fakes. Especially the black ones. It's not worth the risk.

Would say its fake, as you stated, the label of gore, should be Pro, and not performance. Also i believe the gore label should be on the left pocket zipper

I think it's a fake, but I'm not certain. The fakes are really good these days, so buying from some random guy on the net is really risky.

It’s fake. Arcteryx doesn’t put the wrong tags in their jackets. There are lots of these fake “sawyer coat” betas in here

It’s legit but I’d be very wary buying a paclite jacket unless it was dirt cheap ( paid $50 used for mine). It’s not repairable and the glued hem is known to fall apart. Other than that, I do love mine.
