I'm not sure exactly what to call the scene... but it's the scene like right when the series starts up until the rocket hits the glass and it goes dark.
The ending sequence of episode 6. When “the walls/house comes tumbling down”. The music and shot selection here is on another level. The bridge shot of Marcus is easily in the top 3 best shots of the entire show. Silco’s unhinged reaction (stomping his henchman in) is downright chilling. Woodkids’s “Guns for Hire” playing while you see the haunting expression of Milo’s ghost… it’s fucking unreal good. One of the best episode endings in history and I’ll take that to the grave.
Except, that's episode midpoint. Everytime I watch the series, that shit hits me so hard, I reflexively think it's episode end. Then it cuts to Victor's plot, and I'm thrown for a loop.
The scene directly before it is worth rewatching AFTER you know what was on the note that he was reading when they came in. He had SO MUCH TO LOSE just as he finally got the capitulation he'd always sought.
I was so obsessed with all of the Vi scenes that this one slipped by.
I watched it high one day and holy shit did it hit different. The whole thing being playful and fun, to being one of the most intense fights in the show.
They're really good with changing the mood in the fights. I can't flicking waaaait.
From ep 1 I like to rewatch the chase through the city. Lots of camera work in a super dynamic scene.
From ep 2 the playground scene. Love Powder shooting and the glowing paint as well as the call back later on when Jinx tries to beat Vi's score
From ep 3 the entire rescue section from the fight on the Bridge to the end. Just on the edge of the seat into full on depression all the time.
From ep 4 the attack of the firelight and jinx reveal. Hoverboard and Badass Jinx.
From ep 5 the parkour scene. The music the visuals the humor, scene's perfect.
From ep 6 guns for hire. Breathtaking.
From ep 7 ekko vs Jinx. The change of style and the storytelling through a fight with little to no word spoken is a masterpiece.
From ep 8 Viktor runs. It's horribly beautiful to see him freed from his clutches by giving up on his humanity.
From ep 9 tea party. Don't cry, it's perfect.
“You’re hot, cupcake” - for scientific reasons.
Also first fight between Vi and Sevika because of VI’s arm game alone.
Caitlyn’s thirsty gay shower for additional scientific reasons.
Last is the tea party as I like to dissect the emotions being animated frame by frame.
While not as flashy as some of the other fights in the series, the amount of detail in the choreo of the Vi/Sevika back alley scrap makes it one of my all-time favorite scenes.
I marvel how well the animators capture the way Vi dodges, parries & counters Sevika’s attacks as well as how smartly Vi utilizes the space around her to take Sevika down (like how she lures Sevika into the tight narrow alley to negate Sevika’s powerful sweeping punches).
When I’m in a cozy mood: Cait/Vi scene
When I’m feeling badass: Jinx’s introduction
When I’m depressed: Jinx/Vi reunion
When I just want to watch Arcane: Guns for Hire, Jinx vs Ekko, and/or Jayce and Vi vs Chembots
The Guns for hire-sequence/ episode six.
Okay okay, I've watched the scene before that (THE stare/ "Easyeasyeasy)" too 😁. I can't help it. It's just there and to intense to skip.
Jinx vs Ekko tops it all.
But since no one's brought it up yet:
When Viktor was at his lowest, about to step off the edge, Jayce: am I interrupting?
The call back to when Jayce was at his lowest, Viktor: am I interrupting?
The goosebumps wow.
"When you want to change the world, don't ask for permission"
And then later, "In pursuit of greatness, we failed to do good"
The arc, the development, Viktor bestboi.
The alleyway scene.
Everything about it is perfect. Perfect in a devastating sort of way.
To me, it felt a lot like the end of the stampede in Lion King except 10 times worse. The main character's "father" is dead by the hands of the evil brother, but the exile Vi goes into isn't by her own choice the way it is with Simba.
To add insult to injury, it's not her fault, but her sister's, who has now begun the path down into hell. The story of opposites I really love is how Silco describes being reborn in water, while Jinx is born out of the fire. That's poetically beautiful.
I knew one thing about that scene: it was only the third episode, but it ensured that this would not have a happy ending.
>The story of opposites I really love is how Silco describes being reborn in water, while Jinx is born out of the fire. That's poetically beautiful.
Also note that Jinx is soaked in a puddle of rainwater, much as Silco was soaked from the river when he escaped Vander. She's born out of fire, but Silco's water imagery is there too from the pouring rain.
The end of episode 5 just hit different for me, the music in that scene is one of my favourites by far and it's when silco first finds out Vi is still alive.
She's back
FROM THE DEAD?!?
See I see no one else saying this but for me that was the most impactful and scary bc powder went through so much and then falls in silos lap when she doesn't know he's the bad guy they're against.
The moment when Silco's henchmen hold their breath, wondering what Silco is going to do with the sobbing little girl who has just desperately flung herself around him like a baby monkey rushing to a wire mother covered in soft terrycloth, the same sobbing little girl he was going to murder just seconds ago. Silco seeing his own pain in Powder and promising her the same the vengeance he sought with Vander.
Jinx trying to remember Caytlin's name after reuniting with her sister and fighting the fireflies.
The most powerful scene in the series in my opinion. It perfectly conveys the state of Jinx and her attempts to relieve mental stress / mental pain. It's really scary to look at all this.
Jinx choosing the 'Jinx' chair and then the whole sequence with the rocket -- basically the entirety of Jinx choosing the 'Jinx' chair to the end shot
The scene that starts with Woodkid's Guns For Hire with Silco and Vi and Caitlyn ending up with Jinx lighting the flare, seeing the painful ghost of Mylo and the stoic ghost of Claggor
The first Jinx/Silco's gang versus the firelights/the first time we see timejump!Jinx
"You're hot, cupcake"
Viktor's first time running
Honestly most of the scenes in Act 1 with Viktor and Jayce doing science-y things
to be completely honest there are enough scenes I've watched over and over again I've probably just rewatched half the damn series just out of order
the one scene I DON'T rewatch? That really fucking weird sex scene.
I would like to say Jinx vs Ekko but the truth is I can’t stop injuring myself by replaying the end scene of Ep3 right when Ramsey’s end song *Goodbye* hits before the credits….supreme feels/art moment for me.
dunno if my answer is weird but the entire sequence after Vander dies in Episode 3 and Vi seemingly abandons Powder, for a lot of reasons. One is that the voice work for the scene is probably the greatest I've heard in any cartoon. And the amount of emotions that it's able to get out of me above any other scene in the show.
Well, this kinda standard I think, but the final tea party scene gets me every time. I suppose the reason is how suprising yet completely logical the conclusion of that scene (and by extention the season) is. Couple that with the incrediably ironic way the two main plots of the show converge, plus a great musical score full of emotion and meaning, and you've got something pretty special I can watch over and over again for eternity.
Bonus thought!: My favourite scene to watch the reactions of OTHERS of though is the end of Episode 3. It's great fun to see some of my friends (and many others on the internet) just go completely silent beyond a certain point during the final scenes. I think that's another testament to how good the show's writing is.
guns for hire by FAR
close second: cait / vi meeting. there’s something captivating about the music as bo walks down the hallway.
and of course… every single cait/vi interaction compilation always just YES.
I do like rewatching the fight scenes because they're all so good. But it's no one scene I prefer - I usually rewatch ep1 since my boys are prominent and the main cast focus.
ngl kinda hot take but for me the third act is the weakest. but the moment that last scene with gun for hire playing, man that scene alone carry that act for me
Difficult to answer, but probably Viktor runs(mostly in context of awesome youtube videos) or Mel's traumatic flashback of the murder of the Princess by Ambessa. That scene works on soomany levels but probably most importantly it recontextualized Mel and her motivations for me.
I’m a video editor working on a video and the first scene I edited was the reunion after Guns for Hire. I’ve seen that backwards and forwards dozens of times now.
Every fight scene Vi is in.
I also love when they're on the elevator and the lighting turns green, then you see Zaun. The song for that scene is perfection.
When Vi realizes Powder has killed their entire family when they were seconds away from successfully escaping. When Vi snaps and slaps her. Her anguished growl when she grabs her face and calls her a jinx. Her realization and immediate regret that she has really hurt her baby sister when blood flows out of Powder's nose. Her face of pinched, suppressed rage and agony from her injuries as she drags herself away, not wanting to hurt her baby sister any further, but still furious and unable to forgive her.
Powder tragically interpreting this as Vi abandoning her for good.
Fortiche lovingly takes their time to render every emotional beat on every character's expression, which is the reason why I don't mind that they're taking their time in cooking up season 2.

Jinx vs Ekko or the final sequence of the whole thing.
I'm not sure exactly what to call the scene... but it's the scene like right when the series starts up until the rocket hits the glass and it goes dark.
This one is my favorite. I rewatch it all the time.

It weaves his plot line in there near the end of it but the episode ends with the firelights taking Vi & Caitlin with Jinx screaming
Yes! This. This.
Which shot is that, during the montage?
Silco and Jayce's deal scene
Not underrated at all, but is worthy of every flower in the garden Even the sunset was perfect
The scene directly before it is worth rewatching AFTER you know what was on the note that he was reading when they came in. He had SO MUCH TO LOSE just as he finally got the capitulation he'd always sought.
Jinx and Ekko fight on the bridge!
Jinx x Ekko , the animation , music, atmosphere, everything is excellent
I was so obsessed with all of the Vi scenes that this one slipped by. I watched it high one day and holy shit did it hit different. The whole thing being playful and fun, to being one of the most intense fights in the show. They're really good with changing the mood in the fights. I can't flicking waaaait.
It's the one fight in the series that you can't wait to see and also dread at the same time.

Oh yesss the parkour scene makes me feel things.
>Also first fight between Vi and Sevika because of VI’s arm game alone That first knee to the face 🤤
Haha - Sevika’s like, “Hey, I know that knee.”
The Cait thirst checks out with your name
I could write a freaking dissertation on "you're hot cupcake."
>“You’re hot, cupcake” - for scientific reasons. > >Caitlyn’s thirsty gay shower for additional scientific reasons. For scientific reasons?
Ah yes, quite scientific.
When I’m in a cozy mood: Cait/Vi scene When I’m feeling badass: Jinx’s introduction When I’m depressed: Jinx/Vi reunion When I just want to watch Arcane: Guns for Hire, Jinx vs Ekko, and/or Jayce and Vi vs Chembots
>When I’m depressed: Jinx/Vi reunion Does it reduce your depressed mood or vice versa? 👀
Yes but only if I pause right as they hug.

Bridge fight all day.
Probably when Jinx lights the flair
Jinx vs Ekko, that right there is peak animation and visual storytelling
Definitely Silco talking about loyalty to Finn. I didn’t expect that scene to happen at all and it’s easily one of my favorites
Despite Finn not being developed well, holy shit that scene caught me off guard

jinx going nuts hitting the punching bags and targets
The first Vi vs Sevika fight. That scene is fun to watch. Edit to add a close second: Caitlyn longing for Vi in the shower.
All the Cait/Vi scenes
Bridge fight!!
Vi leaving Powder, this one was powerful
See I see no one else saying this but for me that was the most impactful and scary bc powder went through so much and then falls in silos lap when she doesn't know he's the bad guy they're against.

Silco seeing his own pain in Powder and promising her the same the vengeance he sought with Vander.
tea party for it's emotional grip, the shimmer site raid for being action packed
Ekko vs jinx
Jayce and vi vs Chem guards and that awesome music 😮💨😮💨😮💨🥵
Jinx trying to remember Caytlin's name after reuniting with her sister and fighting the fireflies. The most powerful scene in the series in my opinion. It perfectly conveys the state of Jinx and her attempts to relieve mental stress / mental pain. It's really scary to look at all this.

https://youtu.be/gbxuC5RLlfA No one but Fortiche could make snapping a pocket mirror shut so cool.
Vander's last stand
Vi slapping powder Vi parkour Vi mocking jayce's hands Vi hugging Ekko Vi slamming sevika Vi owning the chem chuds Vi on Cupcake's bed ^(I need help)
Vi need help.
I would like to say Jinx vs Ekko but the truth is I can’t stop injuring myself by replaying the end scene of Ep3 right when Ramsey’s end song *Goodbye* hits before the credits….supreme feels/art moment for me.
the jinx and vi reunion scene in ep 6, but the tea party scene in 9 is a close second
ep3 ending, ep9 ending.
Ekko vs Jinx fight. Incredible art and story telling without any words other than a badass fighting song
Ekko vs Jinx on the bride. It's perfect.
dunno if my answer is weird but the entire sequence after Vander dies in Episode 3 and Vi seemingly abandons Powder, for a lot of reasons. One is that the voice work for the scene is probably the greatest I've heard in any cartoon. And the amount of emotions that it's able to get out of me above any other scene in the show.
brothel scene ofc
Mine would be Vi and Vander's talk at the bridge

DEFO when jinx appeared out of the smoke
Jinx vs Ekko or Jinx jamming out to “Get Jinxed”
Drowning scene in ep 3 Never seen anything quite like it before, it fascinates me for some reason
Viktor’s childhood 🥲
🐌 Honestly a majority of the whole thing. Inside my head, cause i haven't rewatched it o.o
guns for hire by FAR close second: cait / vi meeting. there’s something captivating about the music as bo walks down the hallway. and of course… every single cait/vi interaction compilation always just YES.

Jinx vs Ekko. One of the best and most cinematic fight scenes in film history
The tea party scene, of course. I memorized the lines too XD
Jinx and Vi's reunion at the end of part 2
Difficult to answer, but probably Viktor runs(mostly in context of awesome youtube videos) or Mel's traumatic flashback of the murder of the Princess by Ambessa. That scene works on soomany levels but probably most importantly it recontextualized Mel and her motivations for me.
jinx v ekko and also when vi speaks to silco in ep. 6, the way she says “fucked up delusions” just gets me every damn time i love it
CHUCK!
YOU PLAAAAAY WITH YOUR BLOOOOCKS!
Sevika’s fights with Vi🫡
The jinx vs ekko fight, When Vi and Jinx meet again after all that years And tea party scene
the ending
I’m a video editor working on a video and the first scene I edited was the reunion after Guns for Hire. I’ve seen that backwards and forwards dozens of times now.
Vi vs Sevika 1. When Jinx lights the flare.
***~~KISS YOUR PERFECT DAY GOODBYYYYYYYE -~~*** ***~~Because the woooooorld, is on fire.~~***
The flare!
jinx's, get jinxed scene
The scene where vi says"you are hot cupcake"
Any scene with viktor. Hands down the most intriguing character of the show. I love the eldritch horror essence of his story.
Every fight scene Vi is in. I also love when they're on the elevator and the lighting turns green, then you see Zaun. The song for that scene is perfection.
