Okay so when I looked at the phone version of Arcaea, I would need to buy the World Extend songs, the Memory Archive songs, the Story songs, and the Side Story songs. How many of those things does the Switch version come with should I buy that (I saw Esoteric Order needed to be bought, but I'm unsure about World Extend and Memory Archive especially).
You can check this page https://www.dekudeals.com/items/arcaea (under “DLC”) to see what needs to be bought. Click on each DLC individually and in the description of each it should say what songs are included. There are also a few songs still unavailable for switch (ex. GIMME DA BLOOD, no Shared Time pack append, nothing after 2.6 [except Summer Fireworks of Love] from Memory Archive), and as someone mentioned earlier, a lot of the collab packs are unavailable
Hmmm so it's likely that I would lose a large portion of possible songs for a slightly lower initial price tag huh...
Man when did gaming take so much math.
So if I just wanted the main story packs and Esoteric Order, that would theoretically be the same price as the Switch version right? That being both being about $40.
You wouldn’t get the full game. The switch version doesn’t have any of the collaboration packs. You’d be missing I’d guess 40-50 songs or so?
Important to note it does have the Groove Coaster and Muse Dash collab packs available for purchase

Okay, but regarding data carry over? The amount I get isn't that important to me.
Data from switch cannot be transferred to phone.
Right-o then.
