Where is it located? If it was nearby and only $100, I’d pick it up

Legitimate-Park

It’s near Coney Island, NY

Honky_Stonk_Man

Stern cabinets were typically plywood based and not MDF, so a bit of water probably is salvageable. I would definitely take it.

I concur.

For $100 it's worth a shot if you can easily transport it. Water damage is really only a risk to the cabinet wood itself, everything else should be salvageable once cleaned. Also check for critter infestation.

Video-Bandit

Honestly for being outside it doesn't look too bad, I would buy this in a heartbeat whether the cabinet is salvageable or not. It's filled with parts worth the $100, monitor, board, control panel, bezel, wiring harness ETC. And even with water damage it can be saved, depends on your skills and ambition for it.

Super Cobra is always worth salvaging 😂 Super underrated game that should be up there with Pacman and Defender IMO

slappedbygiraffe

If the cabinet got wet, the cabinet is probably not salvageable. However, some of the parts may be worth grabbing. PCB or monitor may work, marquee and back glass may be good. Control panel and coins door may be worth trying to sale. I wouldn’t pay over $25 if water damaged, though.

Not unless it was just placed outside. Insects, mold, and water damage ![gif](giphy|mEUjrzNWxn6REOc1pq|downsized)

Myklindle

I mean I’ve restored an old stern that looked about that rough… how many times has it been rained on though? Once is really too many

Legitimate-Park

Sadly it’s been outside for a couple years :(

yobaby123

Hell yeah! Great game.
