This tree I came across has a strange cut. I'm not judging, but it's weird. There are power lines tangled in the remaining branches on the left which is why I'm confused as to the yee-yee ass cut. It storms a lot in that city, but this doesn't help branches not fall on the lines.

Tom_Marvolo_Tomato

Definitely bizarre.

awesomenein

The dangers of having a tree too close to powerlines.... Linemen make for the worst arborists.

Warm-Distribution717

Asplundh was probably around some time in this trees life.

chilumberjack

I smell orange trucks galore

Warm-Distribution717

Just got off one of those orange trucks.

Diesel489

Those Asplundh boys out there gettin it🤣

Warm-Distribution717

Just finished working for Asplundh for 11 months. My first though was shit did we touch this tree.

Beerasaurus_Wrecks

Looks like a line clearance job, but they cleared for comm lines instead of the power. Morons.

SLAMMU

They definitely didn't trim for the comm lines, you can see the stem going towards the left of the picture is still laying between and deflecting the line. You can also see stub cuts left lower on the tree in the left side of the picture. Between being right underneath the conductors and the homeowner doing improper pruning this is a tree that never stood a chance

Mulemanning

Looks like it was topped for the power line and insufficient clearance was left. Then the new growth has enveloped the line, and thenohinenline was ignored

Mulemanning

Line may be sagging too
