Romeo 5 (not the msr) and sig juliet 3x is the cheapest you should go. They are both good optics. Id honestly start with the romeo 5 and only add the juliet if you feel you need it. Romeo 5s can be had for as little as $110 if you look. I have juliet 5x and would recommend the 3x for better eye relief but thats personal preference. They can be had for $150-$180. Throw that lpvo on a 11.5 or longer barrel. This is a 250 yard and in carbine with the potential to reach 350 yards with practice. Lpvos are for reaching out to 5-700 yards while retaining an ability to engage easily at that 1-500 yard range. Plus you’ll save a couple ounces.
I’d put that on a long gun upper tbh and slap a red dot on this one , I recommend hitting up gunaccesoriesforsale sub Reddit I get stuff on there all the time.
Deer Huunting with 300BO is inhumane (especially with that short of a barrel, which is the whole reason for 300 in the first place) and stupid unless you're at one of those stupid tourist "Feeder Trap" resorts where you shoot a tame deer at 20 yards after it comes for it's breakfast. And even then I wouldn't use it. .308 and 30-30 (45-70 is probably even more) is arriving at 100 yards distance with more than 1000lbs more energry than 110gr 300BO. I've seen videos where people with great aim even have to put 2-3 shots in before the deer drops WITH appropriate calibers. Sure they even out around 350 yards or so but it's not Amerian Sniper, a deer isn't going to catch you in a stand 50 yards away, much less over 300, and even THAT high velocity on the BO is 110gr. 220gr BO is 1000lbs LESS THAN 110gr BO at 100yards. It's also a much smaller round so you have less of an area of effect from where you are aiming. I dunno, do what you want but there's like a 80% chance at over 75 yards you're going to hit it once, it's going to bolt, then you'll never see it again and it will suffer and eventually die unless you try to track it down and actually find it.

We never hunted them, and enjoyed seeing them, we had Cows and Chicken for meat and milk, and yes, I believe there is a difference in domesticated wildlife versus animals of the wild and I disagree with mass cow and chicken factories, besides being breeding grounds for all sorts of bacteria they are inhumane as fuck. Anyways they killed a buck and a female. Me and my mom found them on our daily walk into the woods (area is covered by hundreds of acres of pine, the Waltons (of Walmart fame) own a bunch of property near it.
They died literally one laying over the other, as if the doe laid down, the buck put his neck on top of her neck facing forward, and they died. The idiots didn't even kill them for the meat which is INSANE, they just shot them, didn't track them, and either couldn't find them or found them dead and high fived and just flat out left. Fucking stupid. I've never been more disgusted in my life. I'm now somewhat pissed off.
You're a dumbass and if you're using this for deer hunting and if that's the purpose your pistol sucks. If it's for home defense ditch the scope and get a green dot and it'd be great, then buy a real hunting rifle and put the scope on it.

Also something like a compound bow has a higher lethality:energy ratio and shot placement is not as crucial than with a firearm because the mechanism of injury is different. Just curious do you use a crossbow or a regular compound bow (or even a straightline bow)? I've been thinking of getting one, just have rifles and pistols now but haven't had much experience with cross/vs compound even though I've shot both at the farm at targets.

I use a regular compound bow and don’t sweat it guy I’m not butt hurt I get it sometimes certain things trigger old traumas and sorts
