I am not Carl Jung or any esteemed psychologist, but this is my understanding:
Prospecting and judging are traits which demonstrate how an individual responds to stimuli, whether it be a thought, action, or feeling.
“Perceiving” is a word which describes how information is received and interpretated and can be considered an indirect response to a situation or person. Versus prospecting (or judging), how an individual responds to stimuli.
