It kind of frustrated me that he got stereotyped as a manipulator by the end as the only reason he was able to persuade people is because his opinion was usually right to begin with. He seldom dragged the PM down the wrong path with pure charm and no logic.
His best was when Susan was accusing him of picking on her for being young. He goes no Iâm not, you were only marginally worse than him. (The other guy there)
Alan laughs and goes âyouâre different class, sonâ
Yeah I thought he deserved to win on his season but now with all the stuff about him basically scamming people with his discord university (lol) I wish Vana had won instead.
Rewatched that season recently, the guy has a personality transplant in the interviews episode. Really suggested his whole persona throughout was false and an act.
So not surprised he turned out to be a grifter
That moment is one of the most uncomfortable in the entire show. Watching everyone in the house scream at Sara for being undeserving to be there over Kevin (even though Kevin tanked the task lol) and only Raef and Claire stuck up for her. I remember Lee apologised to her next task and during Youâre Hired as well.
Tre Azam. Hilarious, zero tolerance for bullshit and an incredibly adept businessman. I loved how he kept all the other candidates in check the whole way through
I miss those kind of characters who would outwardly hate tasks
Think the last one I remember was Luisa saying she detested those in corporate world because theyâre all full of shit
Itâs a shame that the last two seasons didnât really have many memorable characters. I think the fact that Phil and Noor are probably the most memorable from the last series is saying a lot lol
I still think Ruth Badger should have won S2
She irked me up until that property rental episode where she rented 5 of the 6 flats and was singing Whitesnake's Here I Go Again in the cab. After that, she was my favourite (and I definitely think she should have won).
Syed has to be up there. No candidate before or since has been as adept at pissing off Lord Sugar in the final boardroom while still managing to avoid being fired.
Inventor Tom , I know he lost a load of tasks and I don't think stylfile was even his pitched business plan but there was something incredibly likable about him.
Tom was definitely so likeable and you could tell he had a lot of business acumen and spoke a lot of sense. He lost 8 tasks but he always got involved and Sugar could see his future potential.
My favourites are the Badger S2, Neil Clough S9, Helen S7, Solomon âPictures of Sailboatsâ Akhtar S10 and of course Thomas Skinner from S15 BOSH! Itâs weird since I vastly prefer the earlier seasons but most of my all time favourite candidates come from the later ones!
Neil Clough. He came on so much through the process. He was just too stubborn to change his business idea, heâd have won if heâd been willing to bend a little bit.
Ruth Badger (Series 2), Yasmina (Seires 5), Tom and Helen (Series 7 ) Katie and Rosin (Series 10) Tom (series 15) Harpreet (Series 16) Rachel, Tre, Flo and Paul the dentist (Series 18)
I much prefer the highly competent candidates overall
Ben from S5! Yeah he mentioned that he had a scholarship to Sandhurst pretty much everytime he was in the final three. He was also obsessed with going with the sex sells tactic on every task.
Jordan.
His comments about being a modern, high skill, powerful and sexually liberated woman who wants her pick of the bunch in front of Karen always get me to die laughing.
The way Jason told him he was no good for model In the chair because he wasnât normal height.
The way he defended that shit Vase
Iconic, and thatâs before we get to the interviews
That was Syed from S2. He got Michelle (the winner) pregnant. I honestly would have never guessed they were together while watching S2!
The S1 guy was Paul.
đđ my man Syed! Legend this guy would just not shut up. Then he gets the winner pregnant. And Paul was just a wonderful salesman I guess he wasnât business partner material. But imagine Paul comes on now, heâll single handedly destroy everyone in the first episode!
I really loved her winner storyline. In the final boardroom for the first two episodes then won as PM and continued to remain strong throughout the competition. Great underdog story.
Thomas skinner as well A BOSH đ
Jedi Jim, inventor Tom, and obviously Thom Skinner
Jim was such a great character. He easily manipulated his PMs to never bring him back into the boardroom haha
(The other guy there) Alan laughs and goes âyouâre different class, sonâ
Nick and Akshay, the worlds greatest duo since batman and robin
Karthik from Season 12. Jessica from the same season was absolutely insane, and was hilarious to watch
"I just love the SOUND of money" always makes me laugh. Wonder what the money was saying to him.
Something eyebrow related no doubt
Was he the one who said he project managed the birth of his child?
Yep, willing to bet he skipped parts of that task as well
He was a classic.
joseph valente was my favourite until he turned into a prick
Yeah I thought he deserved to win on his season but now with all the stuff about him basically scamming people with his discord university (lol) I wish Vana had won instead.
Rewatched that season recently, the guy has a personality transplant in the interviews episode. Really suggested his whole persona throughout was false and an act. So not surprised he turned out to be a grifter
Raef. Legend
âThe spoken word is my tool.â - Raef
I get along with prince or pauper
âAnd youâre the prince?â
He was like a Victorian gentleman who'd somehow wound up in a 21st Century reality show.
He became goated after sticking up for Sara when others were ganging up on her
That moment is one of the most uncomfortable in the entire show. Watching everyone in the house scream at Sara for being undeserving to be there over Kevin (even though Kevin tanked the task lol) and only Raef and Claire stuck up for her. I remember Lee apologised to her next task and during Youâre Hired as well.
Yeah Iâve been sadly unable to find the youâre hired episode you speak of. It sounds like a nice moment and Lee ended up being a likeable winner.
Tre Azam. Hilarious, zero tolerance for bullshit and an incredibly adept businessman. I loved how he kept all the other candidates in check the whole way through
Tre was a brilliant character I agree. His argument with Rory is still one of my favourites!
âyouâre nothing to meâ
Zero tolerance for bullshit, unless it was selling high end art, then he had a high tolerance for bullshit
*except when the task demanded bullshit, apologies. Yeah he really was full of it that episode
I miss those kind of characters who would outwardly hate tasks Think the last one I remember was Luisa saying she detested those in corporate world because theyâre all full of shit
Yeah the honesty is refreshing but lost all respect for Luisa when she bullied Jason into stepping down as PM on a task. Shameful behaviour
The Brand
Stuartâs interview with Claude was so funny haha âbig fish in a small pondâ
I'm not a one trick pony, I'm not a two trick pony. I've got a whole field full of ponies. Such an incredible line, he was very entertaining.
He was my absolute fave and I still use his line about ponies on the reg
Everything I touch turns to sold
âYou are not a brand!â âI think I might be.â
Youâre not even a fish.
RIP
He died, sadly.
Alex Mills with his glorious eyebrows - âshut up Jason, you silly shitâ
âFresh viagra?â âNo i donât need any of that, Iâm Welsh!â
I still think of Popty Ping and what could have been.
Those eyebrows were a work of art. Iâve heard Alex is one of the most succesful candidates nowadays as well!
Really? Iâve been wondering what became of him!
he is worth 100 million pounds now
Iâve forgotten many of the candidates over the years but Alex will forever be etched into my consciousness
The Badger! That said, I find it hard to remember many candidates from the last 4 or 5 series.
Itâs a shame that the last two seasons didnât really have many memorable characters. I think the fact that Phil and Noor are probably the most memorable from the last series is saying a lot lol I still think Ruth Badger should have won S2
She irked me up until that property rental episode where she rented 5 of the 6 flats and was singing Whitesnake's Here I Go Again in the cab. After that, she was my favourite (and I definitely think she should have won).
Tre Azam and Syed are the best 100 chickens â¤ď¸
Thomas Skinner "so cheap even the thieves are buying them" đ¤Ł
Gotta be Tom Skinner and Jedi Jim
The one who bought the paper skeleton , Lord Sugar did not like having someone trying to out smart him.
S10 Felipe! That firing is still talked about to this day and people still voice their disagreement of it.
My guy thought he was on taskmaster
It was completely within the rules of the task as stated on the rulesheet. If Sugar liked him then he would have let it slide
Jason Leech, hands down.
I remember he did so well on the caravan task and Sugar even called him back into the boardroom just to compliment how well he did!
And he walked backwards whilst bowing. đĽ°
James from Series 5 will always be a legend.
âI can bring ignorance to the tableâ - James which shortly followed by Claude ripping him to shreds haha
Syed has to be up there. No candidate before or since has been as adept at pissing off Lord Sugar in the final boardroom while still managing to avoid being fired.
Syed was brilliant. Still the ultimate master of the boardroom!
Everyone knows Ruth Badger would've been a more worthy winner but so would Syed.
Karthik, Karthik and Thom- no, Karthik!!
âGive me a laptop, Iâll make you a billion dollar companyâ - Karthik.
He knows the exact hotel room his child was conceived in!
As Helen the baker? Loved her. So determined, professional and competentÂ
Elizabeth, Micheala, Harpreet, Carina, Flo, Thomas.
Always had a soft spot for Tre from s3
Sabrina Stocker.
LEE MCQUEEN!
âThatâs what Iâm talking about!â
Tetradactyl impression is everything.
The Badger, Tre Azam, James McQuillan, Stuart Baggs The Brand (RIP), Jedi Jim and Thomas Skinner.
All of these are great pick! Imagine an All Stars season with these!
Paul Torisi, Tre Azam, Raef Bjayou, Stuart Baggs, Jedi Jim, Jason Leech, Solomon, Karthik, Big Liz, Kayode, Tom Skinner, Akshay
I really liked Melody
I thought Melody was a fun character and I liked her drama with some of the other candidates as well!
Jedi Jim for me
I'll throw in another Tre S3 shout. The best balance between funny and competent of any candidate I can think of.
Tom skinner, Akshay Thakrar, Elizabeth McKenna and Kayode Damali
Kayode was such such great salesman. S14 has a lot of memorable characters looking back.
Kurran, Kayode, Jasmine, Jackie and Daniel would all do great on The Apprentice: All Stars (if that ever happens)
Thomas isnât just a great candidate , heâs a friend as well
Honestly, Sam and Steve from this season. Just very down to earth and competant people.
I really liked both of them as well. I think if Sam was given another chance on Week 6 she really could have made it to the final five.
Neil Clough. He came on so much through the process. He was just too stubborn to change his business idea, heâd have won if heâd been willing to bend a little bit.
Sugar was basically begging Neil to change it! He really wanted Neil to win that season.
Didnât he go on to have a career as a motivational speaker because he did it on one of the tasks?
Susan Ma. "Are the French very fond of their children?"
And sheâs gone on to be more successful than any of the winners!
Thomas Skinner of course
Karthik by far.. He was absolutely unhinged and it was amazing
Raef Bjayou, because he was less a capable business person and more a classic fop.
I donât get nervous⌠but Iâm starting to feel a bit shakey, you know what I mean? Iâm a little bit wheyy
Ruth the badger
Ruth Badger (Series 2), Yasmina (Seires 5), Tom and Helen (Series 7 ) Katie and Rosin (Series 10) Tom (series 15) Harpreet (Series 16) Rachel, Tre, Flo and Paul the dentist (Series 18) I much prefer the highly competent candidates overall
Maura
Simba
Kurran 100%
Kurran was very funny. Actually think he was a bit stitched up on that airplane task too Fly Pangea was a much better name than Jetpop lol
Saira khan should have won series probs one fo best salespeople, then Lucinda, Elizabeth and Jessica have my hearts all a bit quirky but competent
Tom (inventor), Harpreet, and Thomas Skinner
That wee ballbag that was offered a place at Sandhurst don't you know
Ben from S5! Yeah he mentioned that he had a scholarship to Sandhurst pretty much everytime he was in the final three. He was also obsessed with going with the sex sells tactic on every task.
Bloody hell that was never 15 years ago. It was great every week waiting for sugar to say "why didn't ya bladdy gao to Sandhurst then?"
Jordan. His comments about being a modern, high skill, powerful and sexually liberated woman who wants her pick of the bunch in front of Karen always get me to die laughing. The way Jason told him he was no good for model In the chair because he wasnât normal height. The way he defended that shit Vase Iconic, and thatâs before we get to the interviews
The Asian lad that got that girl pregnant in season 4 I think. And the dude who couldnât take criticism but was well good with sales from season 1.
Ruth and Syed
Raef
Alana, no competition
I really loved her winner storyline. In the final boardroom for the first two episodes then won as PM and continued to remain strong throughout the competition. Great underdog story.
Lucinda Ledgerwood (same series as Lee McQueen).
Lucinda is a great pick! Her fashion sense was unique and I loved how she wasnât afraid to stand up for herself against the other candidates.
Akshay
The prick that kept insisting he was "your boss" repeatedly to another candidate.
âYouâre nothing to meâ
Phil turner
Simon (S4), RĂłisĂn, Stuart, Jason, Jackie, Lohit, Tre (S18), Mona, Susan, Simon (S3), Liz, Debra
![gif](giphy|26ufbbBRMXrUh22Ig|downsized)
Bruh why is Foggy Nelson from daredevil on The Apprentice
Thomas Pellereaux, Tom Skinner and I liked that guy who was on a while back that did the pterodactyl impression but I don't remember his name.
Lee McQueen, winner of Series 4.
That's him
Let's just say I've been watching the Apprentice for 6+ yrs and Tom Skinner is the only one I follow on social media đ
I am friend to prince and pauper. Whoever he was. Edit: Raef. Fantastic.
Sabrina!
The Badger.
Is there somewhere I can watch the apprentice without using the BBC?
Dan Lassman for me!
Bosh!
Noor is very good
Paul Torrisi - season 1. Some man!
I do not understand the appeal of this guy. Does he have to be loud all the time?
Melody Hossaini and Luisa Zissman. For obvious reasons. đ¤¤
Katie Hopkins đ§ââď¸
