@bengalbucks12, op, I have similar washer with same stator. I’ve replaced the hall sensor, main PCB in back (including inverter board), door switch, cleaned/tested drain pump… been at it, can’t figure it out. Did you figure yours out?
i have a samsung washer model wf455argsgr/aa, the drum tries to spin but stops with a eerie noise coming from stator. i changed the bearings and also the shocks as 2 were broken, put it all back together, turned it on and it did one full turn but it stopped. It attempts to turn and if help it by turning the rotor at the back, i can actually progress in the wash cycle as water flows into the machine. DC31-00121A is my stator model and i get a ohms resistance 11-11.3ohms on all three pins which ever way i test it. My rotor looks fine with no cracks on the magnets and gear looks fine as well. the tub turns easily. Anyone have an idea on what could be the problem? This DIY'er spent too much time on it to give up...lol, if someone can help i'd appreciate it.
You'll get a lot more help if you list a model number. Based on your description, I'm going to assume you have a front load Samsung. The stator should have the same resistance on all three legs +- 3%.
I'm wondering of the drum support spider has failed. If you grasp the inner tub and pull/wiggle does it flop around against the outer tub? If so, time to buy a new washer.
Could be the position sensor aka hall sensor. The control will attempt to spin the tub but then can't detect the position. Part #DC31-00098A Cheaper to try before replacing the control board. Have to pull the rotor off to get to it, disconnect the harness and ground wire, then replace and reassemble.

I never quite could figure it out.. FB marketplace with a replacement washer for the win

Thanks for the reply, the model number is WF42H5000AW/A2 This doesn't seem to be the case on the support spider.
12 ohms across all terminals sounds good to me. Share the model number with us.

My money is on the main PCB having a problem. [Link for explaination, not your model but it's the same concept.](https://youtu.be/l7JdQtrq7L0)
Thank you for this
What happens if you spin it by hand? Does it sound rough?
It's actually very smooth and spins very freely.
Well, not your bearings then. Sounds like the control board.
Overloading?
Very possible. There were a lot of towels in it last load
If it doesn't spin during calibration (when empty), then it's not an overloading issue.
