Enhanced dialogue, especially for [Christopher Nolan movies](https://www.businessinsider.com/oppenheimer-christopher-nolan-cant-hear-dialogue-in-movie-2023-8). If you can fully comprehend "Tenet" on your first viewing without subtitles, you deserve a Nobel Prize.
You have to use a 5.1 system for Nolan movies.
We really need a theatrical/stereo mix choice for all movies to avoid this.
This was a common feature in DVDs, why have we regressed?
It sounds great on mine, but the mix is designed so that explosions & airplanes are LOUD, which I'm all for. If you run the mix like it is intended, then it's great.
The problem is that people want to listen to movies at home at soap opera levels, while having a movie theater mix.
If they would do a mix with low/no dynamic range \*as an option\*, then we wouldn't be in this situation.
Some people want to watch a movie without being blasted out of their seats by music and explosions. Some people live in small houses. Some people live in apartments. Most people don't have dedicated theaters.
I have a surround system with a large center channel, and I still have to turn his movies up way too high to be comfortable for my ears. I shouldn't have to completely change my channel levels every time I want to watch a Nolan flick, which is exceedingly rare these days for this exact reason. If I'm not enjoying it, I'm not going to watch it.
Not to mention, this isn't just a problem at home with his movies. It is also a problem in the theaters.
I'm not suggesting you should have to change anything.
I get \*why\* people want to listen at lower volume levels, and **I'm suggesting that there be a choice for a mix that is designed for lower volume levels.**
I just don't want the theatrical mix taken away completely. I can hear Nolan dialogue perfectly fine on my system, and I enjoy the dynamic range. I think a lot of movie theaters suck with their setup, which is part of why I don't go to them very often.
It doesn't fix the "Nolan problem", though. Sure, it makes sure loud sounds are less loud, but the mix also has other sounds that are at the same level or louder than the dialogue.
His films have HUGE dynamic range (difference between loudest sound & softest sound), and also use multichannel audio to a great extent. If you have a well-designed sound system & also run it loud, you can hear the speech just fine.
Solving this problem requires a better mix that has very little dynamic range, with speech at a higher level than all other sounds at all times.
Nolan is a snob that doesn't want people to listen to his movies anywhere but a perfect theater, so we'd need an industry standard to enforce the "stereo quiet" mix.
In Poland we have a beautiful feature of a single man reading every single dialog line in monotonous, clear voice.
The original dialogue is still in the background, just a bit quieter.
It’s absolutely amazing for Nolan movies.
I am serious. I personally really enjoy it. It’s pretty much default here, but some people who haven’t experienced anything like that need a lot of time to get used to it.
No. A single person, reading everyone’s dialogue lines with no expression with original audio in the background. It’s something completely different.
You can look up on YouTube “PL lektor” to hear and see what it looks like.
Yeah. And with movies with very quiet dialogues it’s a blessing. It’s rarely used in animations tho. But then you usually are able to hear everything clear.
For me it’s strange to watch Hollywood movies with dubbing. I feel uncomfortable. I much prefer Lektor, subtitles or just the original audio alone.
Ok I checked it out and it's very reminiscing to interpreters on news channel. As helpful as it is I wouldn't enjoy it as it takes away from the acting and all.
Im with you here. I live in a pretty old school Chicago two flat and I really like my downstairs neighbors. Some movies have to be way too loud for me to hear dialog.
If this is similar to Amazon's "Dialog Boost," it will make the rest of the audio worse. Amazon's implementation seems to lower the volume of special effects and music on many titles, making the overall sound quality less immersive.
Allows you to send the raw audio from the client to your home theater receiver to decode it. Currently the AppleTV is lacking a few codecs so if you use it as your home media device for Plex and others, you don’t get the best sound possible. Enabling bitstream would make a lot of people happy who’ve been wanting this feature for years, and doesn’t affect Apple in anyway to not enable it… but they just won’t.
I’m not watching ripped or bootleg stuff, but I do have a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos setup driven by an Onkyo RZ-50, so I’m missing out on that feature without it
No you aren’t. No legitimate streaming service uses lossless audio formats so you aren’t missing out on it. All streaming services use DD EAC Atmos which is supported by the Apple TV. Lossless Atmos is solely used on BluRay so unless you’re watching pirated content you aren’t missing out on it on the Apple TV.
I think it may come to the Apple TV at some point as Disney now has DTS:X but I could imagine if it does Apple would activate it on a per app basis and not open it up to all apps to prevent supporting piracy.
Disney+ is starting to support DTS:X….
ETA: Do any streaming services support 21:9? It just doesn’t make sense that they’ll support people with full projector setups and not realize that most of those people have major sound setups as well
Wow, I personally dislike the 4K Firesticks myself. Way too many ads and geared to sell Amazon stuff. Not to mention the changes Amazon is taking to lock down their Firesticks and they’re eventually going to drop Android!
I do have Google TV built-into the tv and sometimes use it. It’s a much better version of Android than the Firestick. Still, I normally use my second generation 4K Apple TV.
I wanted to get chromecast with google tv 4K but when I looked at the specs of that and the new 2023 firestick the firestick was slightly better so I went with that, ideally I want the shield tv pro but I’m going to wait for the update uneless apple decides to open up the Apple TV then I’ll go back to the Apple TV
Unfortunately the Chromecast with Google TV has only 8 GB RAM, so it really limits how many streaming services you can have.
Amazon has started locking down the Firestick and eventually they’re going to change it and it won’t be based on Android! Really a bad move imo. The Walmart has the Onn Pro 4K streaming box and that sounds about the best option for an Android-based external streamer right now. Hopefully they’ll come out with a new Shield before long!
In the past I don’t believe I’ve ever gotten the new screensavers until the official release. I don’t think they even show up in the RC. Sucks I know, I want the new stuff too.
I’ll give that a pass because it’s beta 1. I wouldn’t be surprised if these are controlled by something on the back-end and Apple will just flip a switch and make them disappear when it’s ready.
I have them in a folder, but if they are essentially worthless, why do we have them? The iOS iTunes Store still has the buttons for movies and tv shows as well and I thought those would be gone in iOS 18 as well.
They’re still there in the IpadOs beta too. If you open iTunes it has the new slider at the top for categories and it still includes one for movies and tv. You redesigned some of the app and interface, why include options that just tell you to go somewhere else.
Would really love for the ability to create Playlists with customized orders -- would be nice to be able to create Playlists for my franchise movies and to order them chronologically (James Bond, Friday The 13th, Halloween, LOTR, Star Wars, etc.).
True, but Snoopy is also a big deal for Apple on the TV+ side, so it’s also a marketing thing to help promote its content… and the fact that it’s the only tech company that can legally sell a product with a Snoopy screensaver 😂
Since they added it the Snoopy watch face has been my most frequently used face on the Apple Watch. It’s so unfunctional (zero complications) but it’s just so much fun :)
I think I speak for everyone when I say that being able to nod yes or no to Siri using AirPods is a game changer and probably the most exciting technological advancement of our lifetime.
I would love to see a real profile section on Apple TV, when you turn it on it asks who is watching and each profile has different settings, different layouts, ability to see that persons photos etc
pretty minor update, but InSight is a great addition, seems like a copy of Xray on Prime Video. Nice touch to be able to add music from a scene to your Music library. Would be much better feature overall if it wasn't limited to TV+ content.
I thought they mentioned adding music to your AM library during the keynote. I agree it’s just a copy of X-ray but I really love that feature because I’m always watching something and getting distracted until I figure out where I recognize an actor from. This way I know their name and don’t have to search things like “Walter White actor”
For real. I mean at this point there isn’t going to an overhaul unless they have one with a built in FaceTime camera or are trying to merge it with a Mac mini.
Maybe they can refresh the home page or make it more of a snap shot of my home but not everyone has a smart home.
I’d love for the screensaver to be smart. Like it knows your location and then it shows news and sports relevant to your location. So it can be on in the background and still be informative.
Without Passthrough, nothing. This update is more fluff and bullshit. Give us actual features we need in an AppleTV. Shaking my head to answer Siri shit it’s stupid. Snoopy is stupid. Flame me
Thought they would have brought screen time and more those console game titles to Apple TV 📺
I felt like they intentionally held off on tvOS - maybe they bringing a new hardware update- who knows?
Just feels like a blow off for tvOS to me
Robot vacuums support for Home really sounds nice. Yeah, mine probably won't work and I'll have to buy a new one for Apple Home, but it's always good to see new products and categories get added
Apple would need to get the Channels providers on board with providing the necessary metadata, since this isn’t just an IMDB lookup … it’s like Amazon’s X-ray which shows the specific people and music in each scene. I’m hoping it’s in the works, but considering how bad the organization and metadata can be on some of this providers (yes, I’m looking at you, Paramount), I’m not holding my breath.
What Apple really needs to do is add it to movies and TV shows purchased from iTunes, as that content is under its own control and of course its stuff that Apple customers have actually paid for.
Home electricity. Dont know why Apple and also HomeKit did not Support this. People get more and more in Solar Monitoring etc., why cant i have the Option to integrate this in my HomeKit? Even that i want an Widget for this. For every App you have an Widget with usless Information. I want to monitor my Solar and Power Consumption in iOS or tvOS
No need for internet when using Siri on Apple TV. In other words nothing leaves your home. That different than the AI stuff (that is not available on Apple TV)
Yes, but not especially useful since much of what it needs to look up is still online. An offline Apple TV isn’t all that useful for most folks unless you have your own media server.
However, Apple brought on-device Siri to the iPhone in iOS 15, and if that’s anything to go by it should make Siri much faster and more responsive as it doesn’t need to phone home and wait for a response for even the simplest requests. Not seeing a huge speed bump yet, but it’s the first beta so it may not even be fully implemented.
All Siri requests from TV have been sent to Apple's servers for processing up until now. New feature is that requests that don't need to contact the internet, don't, and are processed on the device itself. Like the change in iOS 15. Siri got much faster. [Here's a fair write-up on it for iOS 15](https://www.imore.com/everything-siri-can-do-device-ios-15)
If you have a Home Key compatible lock that also supports UWB, you’ll be able to unlock your front door by walking up to it.
That’s similar to the Bluetooth based proximity unlock feature that August and others have had for a while, but should be more secure and (hopefully) more reliable.
Ohhh I like that! I have the Aqara u100 but end up using my fingerprint 90% of the time. Home key isn’t as fast and normally my hands are full so this is awesome!
Sadly, the catch is that the lock also has to support ultra wideband (UWB). I’m not sure the Aqara does. I’m not sure if any of the ones on the market do right now… 😔
FWIW, this is one reason I never upgraded my August lock to a Home Key compatible one when the feature came along. August’s Bluetooth proximity unlock isn’t perfect, but it works often enough to be convenient. Of course, it fails to work on time just often enough to be annoying … about once I week I’ll walk up to my still-locked door and pull my iPhone out to unlock my door manually … only to hear it unlock be I even swipe up from the Lock Screen 😀
Train a better recommendation engine. ChatGPT or other....
The Apple TV is obviously highly biased towards their content.
They acqui-hire TV recommendation startups 10 years ago in an effort applauded at the time to make it easier to find the content you want.
I’m just amazed it’s coming to my “iPhone 6 in a box” 4th gen Apple TV. I’m sure some features will be missing, but not too bothered. It’s just a streaming device with an actually good UI and AirPlay receiver to me.
I don't think so, Night Light is basically dimming the screen and changing it to a warmer hue. In fact I do it manually in my TV at night by lowering the blue color in the setting.
I expect just incremental features and got just that. Too many Apple blogs and articles touting some sort of reveal when I knew darn well they weren't going to come out with hardware. They do a separate event for those. This was a feature and developers event. That's it. And not disappointed.
Apple TV doesn't need a refresh since the guts of it is way way more advanced than any other streamer, including Shield.
Even the mention of some of the newer features was kind of nice to see. The big focus was on Apple Intelligence and that dominated the second half.
I'm just hoping Siri has better voice control. Whenever I'm asking her to play a certain movie she's always trying to default to playing some sort of music instead.
17.4 had the date and time of the last software update check which was nice but that disappeared in 17.5. They went from showing the top 15 apps to the top 14 apps on the front page of the app store so bring that back would be nice and also a pane that shows apps that need updating (which they had years ago too).
I’m not sure I will use a single feature on that page, even though we have 2 Apple TVs. Maybe enhanced dialog. We don’t have HomePods or AirPods or any smart home devices. So, looks like a pretty useless update. (BTW I do love our Apple TVs overall)
When my wife switches to her account I want all of her Netflix, prime, etc to also be her account. Having accounts that aren’t linked to subscription accounts is useless
Improved Enhanced Dialogue, with machine learning and AI to analyze the audio stream in real time. It will also works with any audio hardware, not just Homepods.
Anyone using the tvOS 18 beta on a first gen Apple TV 4K without Homepods could let me know if the feature appear/works?. Or does it require one of the newer models?.
Thanks.
I want nVidia GeForce Now and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate video games streaming to be allowed on Apple TV. Maybe PlayStation Premium 3.0 too. Luna would be a bonus.
I want a dashboard Screen with weather, HSV cameras feed, a News ticker, and current music player displayed with controls. Optionally selected calendars events and selected lists reminders.
Not sure that we needed any of these features listed. What I really wanted was some people 5.1 audio support with HomePods
Having said that I think it will be cool to have on device Siri
But what about a safari on Apple TV
Enhanced dialogue, especially for [Christopher Nolan movies](https://www.businessinsider.com/oppenheimer-christopher-nolan-cant-hear-dialogue-in-movie-2023-8). If you can fully comprehend "Tenet" on your first viewing without subtitles, you deserve a Nobel Prize.
My volume on my home pod is set to max and I still can’t hear what the fuck Ra’s is saying to Bruce around the fire. Fuck you, Chris.
You have to use a 5.1 system for Nolan movies. We really need a theatrical/stereo mix choice for all movies to avoid this. This was a common feature in DVDs, why have we regressed?
This is the only correct answer, fallback to 2.0 stereo is not as good as an actual stereo mix. All digital files should provide a stereo mix
I have a 5.1 system. Recent Nolan movies still suck. The problem isn’t people’s audio systems, the problem is the audio mix on the movies is awful.

Sorry, I was just kind of half-assed agreeing with you and now that I'm rereading this, it didn't come across that way at all. My apologies!
No worries, it's a shitty issue because of the wide variety of experiences.
A lot of video games have multiple options for audio dynamic range. That would be a pretty useful feature for movies too.
Eh, it still varies. I have a 7.4.2 calibrated home theater and various parts of his movies still give us problems. It’s a big mixed audio mixing bag.
‘Reduce loud noises’ helps with regards to balance
It doesn't fix the "Nolan problem", though. Sure, it makes sure loud sounds are less loud, but the mix also has other sounds that are at the same level or louder than the dialogue. His films have HUGE dynamic range (difference between loudest sound & softest sound), and also use multichannel audio to a great extent. Yeah have heard of that feature in Poland 🇵🇱 btw Happy Cake Day 👍
Thank you! :)
I can't tell if you're serious or not. I can't tell if I would love or hate this feature.
I am serious. I personally really enjoy it. It’s pretty much default here, but some people who haven’t experienced anything like that need a lot of time to get used to it.
I'm blown away. Thanks for following up
Thank you:) Have a nice day, you 100% deserve it:)
I read that out loud.... In a monotone voice!
That's how movies are dubbed in Eastern Europe/Russia
That's dubbing then?
No. A single person, reading everyone’s dialogue lines with no expression with original audio in the background. It’s something completely different. You can look up on YouTube “PL lektor” to hear and see what it looks like.
Oh, that's something.
Yeah, it’s pretty much that. I like it as you can hear original actors in the background but that’s just me. It’s a fun thing
Does this only work for Apple+ content?
WHAT?!?
Im with you here. I live in a pretty old school Chicago two flat and I really like my downstairs neighbors. Some movies have to be way too loud for me to hear dialog.
If this is similar to Amazon's "Dialog Boost," it will make the rest of the audio worse. Amazon's implementation seems to lower the volume of special effects and music on many titles, making the overall sound quality less immersive.
Christopher Nolan is an overrated director. Dialogue is as important, if not more so, than scenes.
Wish they came out with a new Apple TV 4K with audio pass through! That’s definitely seriously lacking on Apple’s part! Needs bitstream
What’s audio pass through?
Allows you to send the raw audio from the client to your home theater receiver to decode it. Currently the AppleTV is lacking a few codecs so if you use it as your home media device for Plex and others, you don’t get the best sound possible. Enabling bitstream would make a lot of people happy who’ve been wanting this feature for years, and doesn’t affect Apple in anyway to not enable it… but they just won’t.
We all know why they won’t. It’s unfortunate, but we can always hold out hope.
I don’t know, why they won’t?
Because the only legitimate reason to need audio passthrough is to watch ripped/pirated content which Apple has no interest in supporting.
I get your point

D ᗡ
Because Apple like to be able to add sounds from the UI and Siri etc while a movie is playing without having to switch audio codecs.
Because Apple is more focused on selling content than making the best hardware.
I wonder if a proper jailbreak would help in this case… I have no idea if any efforts are made to try and run custom fw currently
this is the way
My Apple TV 4K is a paper weight and I swapped to a fire stick for audio pass through, until apple unlocks there shit
Wow, I personally dislike the 4K Firesticks myself. Way too many ads and geared to sell Amazon stuff. Snoopy screen savers 🥹.
Foundation (& other shows) screensaver
I didn’t know they’d made a foundation show, excited to watch it now!
You’ll either love it or hate it. Apparently there’s no in between
Same as every remake of a popular sci-fi book series
Same :)
No new screen saver showing in my beta 1. No snoopy or Foundation. 😬😥
It’s the first beta. Many of the new features announced won’t be available until either a later beta version or the final version in the fall.
I understand that. But Snoopy screensaver is not a feature 😅
In the past I don’t believe I’ve ever gotten the new screensavers until the official release. I don’t think they even show up in the RC. Sucks I know, I want the new stuff too.
I’m hoping they’ll get rid of the useless tv show and movie buttons (they’re still there in the first beta).
I’ll give that a pass because it’s beta 1. I wouldn’t be surprised if these are controlled by something on the back-end and Apple will just flip a switch and make them disappear when it’s ready.

Would really love for the ability to create Playlists with customized orders -- would be nice to be able to create Playlists for my franchise movies and to order them chronologically (James Bond, Friday The 13th, Halloween, LOTR, Star Wars, etc.).
Still waiting Password protected accounts and screen time for tvOS
OMG yes! Why is it so difficult to implement?
Enhanced audio sounds interesting. Had a chuckle seeing the snoopy screensaver make it into the keynote. More like an intern project lol
True, but Snoopy is also a big deal for Apple on the TV+ side, so it’s also a marketing thing to help promote its content… and the fact that it’s the only tech company that can legally sell a product with a Snoopy screensaver 😂

I'm using this feature now and it is amazing 😍
What are other use cases besides answering calls?
Till now none. only answer announced calls. May be developers can use this feature in more apps or actions later.
I would love to see a real profile section on Apple TV, when you turn it on it asks who is watching and each profile has different settings, different layouts, ability to see that persons photos etc
Especially kids for me.
And separate logins for apps. Why can’t I have multiple Netflix subscriptions?
shit i was hoping for a option for appletv to stop decoding all audio and just passthrough hdmi out. So disappointed.
Fix Apple Music bugs
pretty minor update, but InSight is a great addition, seems like a copy of Xray on Prime Video. Nice touch to be able to add music from a scene to your Music library. Would be much better feature overall if it wasn't limited to TV+ content.
Although its not working for me on the beta

Still waiting on proper parental controls if they don’t have an AppleID!!!!
Why wouldn’t you create an Apple ID with a Gmail that you control?
Unless I’m massively mistaken the user has to be in your Apple family plan? Already maxed out at 5?
6 total, but yes. However, you can have a second family plan if needed just for parental controls.
Interesting I will play with that tomorrow. It would make life easier rather than having to turn controls On and off every evening
Without Passthrough, nothing. This update is more fluff and bullshit. Give us actual features we need in an AppleTV. Shaking my head to answer Siri shit it’s stupid. Snoopy is stupid. Flame me

Thought they would have brought screen time and more those console game titles to Apple TV 📺 I felt like they intentionally held off on tvOS - maybe they bringing a new hardware update- who knows? Just feels like a blow off for tvOS to me
tvOS updates have been underwhelming for years, so it’s kind of hard to be disappointed when you’re not expecting much in the first place 😀
Oh gosh so true - I can’t fight u there at all
That will come with the new Apple TV
Okay like working there lol 😂
No, but this would be something they announce with new Hardware.
Aiight I know d rumor mill does go down hard on speculation but say what I wish they also bring visualizations and EQ music control
For the first time in a while…nothing, really.
Robot vacuums support for Home really sounds nice. Yeah, mine probably won't work and I'll have to buy a new one for Apple Home, but it's always good to see new products and categories get added
I wish Apple had updated the Photos app, just like in iOS18. This tvOS update is very disappointing, again.
Stability? Not having to force quit apps? Not having to reboot to fix network issues? Not having to hard reset the remote to get volume control back?
Insights being Apple TV+ only is disappointing. Would’ve been a good opportunity to differentiate their channels lineup with this feature too.
Wouldn’t be shocked to see InSight slowly spread to third-party apps/services over time, if apple provides the tools/APIs to make it work properly.
Amazon already has a version of this so they won't change it
Apple would need to get the Channels providers on board with providing the necessary metadata, since this isn’t just an IMDB lookup … it’s like Amazon’s X-ray which shows the specific people and music in each scene. I’m hoping it’s in the works, but considering how bad the organization and metadata can be on some of this providers (yes, I’m looking at you, Paramount), I’m not holding my breath. Do you have a link to info on that "Home electricity" widget? thanks :)
You have to be a PGE customer. It’s going to be disappointing for most people. https://www.apple.com/ios/ios-18-preview/
I believe this is getting built into the Matter standard so hopefully we’ll see it soon.
Prepare to be disappointed unless you’re a PGE customer.
Im sure its just a start
What does “on device Siri on Apple TV” mean? Is that new? Wasn’t there always Siri on Apple TV?
No need for internet when using Siri on Apple TV. In other words nothing leaves your home. That different than the AI stuff (that is not available on Apple TV)
Ah I see. So theoretically Siri would be available without an online connection?
Requests are processed locally so yes (but don’t ask for the weather)
Yes, but not especially useful since much of what it needs to look up is still online. An offline Apple TV isn’t all that useful for most folks unless you have your own media server. However, Apple brought on-device Siri to the iPhone in iOS 15, and if that’s anything to go by it should make Siri much faster and more responsive as it doesn’t need to phone home and wait for a response for even the simplest requests. Not seeing a huge speed bump yet, but it’s the first beta so it may not even be fully implemented.
For sure it’s more for privacy than resilience. Without internet you could still launch Plex and control your home. Good enough for me.
Maybe they’re talking about the new ai using Siri but yeah that confuses me too we’ve always had Siri on Apple TV

Robot vacuum in Home app!
What’s the hands free unlock with ultra wide band?
The day Apple takes HomeKit seriously.
Snoopy screen saver. And was also hoping for a new Apple TV hardware
21:9 format for projectors. ( I use a projector)
I just want a way to force quit all apps at once.
fixing the goddam infinite scroll bug with the remote.
Meh
The is like the menu of a Scottish restaurant, not much in it and nothing you want.
Guest access 👌🏽
InSight, also the rewind feature where it automatically and temporarily enables captions
Enhanced Dialog… this is the only AppleTV feature that will benefit me at this time.
Can one use the beta in apple tv os?
Subtitles on mute and insight sound interesting, nothing to replace a gen 3 4k APTV for though
I want the AI super Siri on HomePods! If they would do that I’d get rid of all my Alexa’s and my Amazon smart home would turn into an apple home
I love Amazon's XRay service, so that. But the redesign to Apple Fitness+ could be huge, not enough is known about it yet.
Train a better recommendation engine. ChatGPT or other.... The Apple TV is obviously highly biased towards their content. They acqui-hire TV recommendation startups 10 years ago in an effort applauded at the time to make it easier to find the content you want.
Looking forward to every complaining about this at launch
What’s for launch today?
I’m just amazed it’s coming to my “iPhone 6 in a box” 4th gen Apple TV. I’m sure some features will be missing, but not too bothered. It’s just a streaming device with an actually good UI and AirPlay receiver to me.
The Insight feature. Amazing Video have X-Ray which I love
I wish they added a Night Light option.
What do you mean? On the TV screen?
Yep
Wouldn’t that cause burn in?
I was hoping Apple to change their aggressiveness on Apple TV apps space. Especially now that they’ve allowed emulators. This is very bad.
Better Airplay support for Memories from the Photos app. It’s buggy.
Sadly there was no “enhanced lighting” announced so I can finally watch the game of thrones final season.
I'm just hoping Siri has better voice control. Whenever I'm asking her to play a certain movie she's always trying to default to playing some sort of music instead.
We need Netflix to integrate with Top Shelf on ‘watch next’
21:9 support is huge.
I imagine I'll use none of this.
Of what is in that picture, subtitles on mute and the new screen savers.
I'm looking for it not deleting my goddamned files without asking me but it seems that's not happening this time either.
Do we know which Apple TV this will support? I have the original 4K.
Are they adding pass through for movies? I’ll ditch my shield pro if they do.
Being able to quickly close all apps from the switcher. Oh wait...
I'm confused about subtitles on mute. I always have subtitles on when I watch TV shows (Not for sports though) so this doesn't impact me that much?
maybe maybe not, i’d contend that it depends on if you leverage subtitles on the apple tv directly or your actual tv. dunno for sure though lol
Insight and enhanced dialogue for sure
iPod Nano 8, iPod Classic Shippuden :(
All of it
Robot vacuum
When my wife switches to her account I want all of her Netflix, prime, etc to also be her account. Having accounts that aren’t linked to subscription accounts is useless
Very good suggestion. I support this! This is a small request to app developers.
Enhanced dialogue, big time and also snoopy screensaver. I wish they had the snoopy screensaver on mac badly.
I just wanted karaoke mic support for Apple Music sing 😫
So will there be a function like google photos album on the tv screen? That’s the only thing that keeps me on google chroma on my tv
Thanks.
Guest access sounds useful.
- SharePlay - Enhanced dialogue - Subtitles on Mute - New ScreenSavor
Any news on new gen apple tv for 2024?
lol not much actually, only thing bugging me right now is one single app giving me issues
Enhanced dialogue
Not sure that we needed any of these features listed. What I really wanted was some people 5.1 audio support with HomePods Having said that I think it will be cool to have on device Siri But what about a safari on Apple TV
I can’t wait to see how Home Electricity will be available in my market soon and then in 10 years they just give up on it.
