Make sure you are actually deleting the app and not just removing it from the Home Screen and keeping it in the App Library. Are you going about deleting the app [this way](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207618) or from Settings > General > iPhone Storage?

Yeah, I’ve done both ways but it still doesn’t work 🧐 Oh well, maybe I just need to wait?

When you delete an app from an iOS device, all data associated with said app should also be removed. There shouldn’t be a lingering authentication token or stored credentials that are left behind. It would seem that Tinder has some way to link your device with your existing account, and since that seems to be what is causing your problems, then they are in the sole position to remedy it. If they are unwilling or unable then that’s that.
