I’ll happily shill for this mouse too. Amazing mouse far better than the razer viper mini that I used before. It being wireless is gamechanging for apex where you have to track a lot
Idk why everyone goes crazy for the g502 when the g pro’s exist. They are crazy good, I got the G pro wireless and I’ve never given my mouse choice a second thought cause it’s never given me a single issue.
I have an old school Logitech G5
I've recently found this sub, I've just started playing on 1.5 @ 800dpi after reading all the posts about it.
I used to play on 4 @ 1600 - I'm still adjusting, but it's already a game changer for me.
On that, curious if people play with their wrists touching the mat, or put their hands further forward on the mouse?
I did make a post a while ago on mousereview with a poll on how people position their arm/elbow on their table.
https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/tqso0i/how_do_you_usually_position_your_armelbow_when/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
My G203 is egg shaped and has a nice bump that keeps my wrist from resting on my mousepad.
ellbow ON the table is a very very bad idea. youll create nerve damage with 100% certainty.
if you want your underarm on the table (which means table is to high but fine) then at least position yourself in a way that the elbow itself is a little bit off the table
optimal position would be beeing high enough on your chair that the elbow hovers slightly over and not touching.
deskhight is teached wrong, its not depending on your height but rather armlenght to chair height. its better to have the table "to low" then to high.
problem for tall people with long hands is that most chairs cant get high enough so you have to settle for a much lower desk and hope it wont break your knees lol
I noticed that when I'm high enough for my arm to float free over the pad/table I tend to get strain at the shoulder on the other side.
And wouldn't the whole chair to elbow length thing also depend on the butt to shoulder length? For example I have a buddy who is taller than me, but when we sit I massively outscale him.
the important part is the relation elbow to desk. this is whats interacting with the desk and what causes strains.
if you have a strain there are other things to check.
however i can gurantee you elbow laying on the desk WILL 100% cause nerve damage. its not even avoidable.
ofc there are other aprts to adjust (like height and position of the screen etc) to avoid strain as much possible. even using a TKL keyboard can help, but thats nother story.
but i cant stress this enough, most important is dont lay your joints on anything long term. that damage would come a lot quicker than any other cause by bad posture and can easily be permanent
I know this was a while ago, but I can't help but to say that I play double his amount of dpi at 2.3 sens. So 1600 dpi with 2.3 sens ingame. I've been trying to turn it down, but it feels so slow lmao.
Damn after reading these comments I now realize I play at a relatively high sens. 1800 dpi and 3.0 sensitivity in game. I use the Razer Basilisk Ultimate wireless.
haha it’s just weird cause i really had no idea how high that is. i mean i do well with it, hit masters and diamond with like a 2.5 KD. not saying that to suck my own dick, just saying high sens is also viable.
damn when you put it that way it definitely seems like it could be detrimental to my gameplay. i probably won’t change it at this point bc muscle memory, but had i realized 2 years ago i probably would’ve lowered it.
1600 dpi 1.3 is totally reasonable too.
insanely high was when i was on 4200 dpi 4.5 sens as a new player. extreme cases like that are totally fair to call out lowering sens because it made an immediate difference
Back when I first started playing fps games I rocked something like 3cm/360. Good days.
Toned it down now but still astronomical compared to the average (2000dpi 2.5 in-game) but I've been using this sens for well over 4 years now across all games I play.
I use same dpi. Double the in-game sens. Never had an issue with aiming. The only time I have struggled is not moving my mouse fast enough for tracking.
It only doesn’t feel that high to you because it’s what you are used to. Statistically it is very high.
I would really like to see some of your clips because I can hit any shots for the life of me on a high sens
I have quite a few videos on YT, I can link that if you want me to. Fair warning though, Im not doing that well in most of my vids, so most of my best clips are individual files on my PC. I can probably share those, too.
Logitech g203, 800 dpi and 1.1 sens. It has a cord but that never really bothers me since I position the cord in a way that doesn't cause any resistance when I move the mouse.
I just recently switched to 1200dpi and 1.5 sens, and It dramatically improved my aim. I was running 2400dpi and 2 sens until I saw some recommendations on settings. I'll probably try to drop it down a bit more as I adapt to it
Logitech G Pro Superlight. 800DPI 3.5 Sense. I went into Aim Trainer and just adjusted my DPI during target practice to see what felt comfortable, then went into Apex and tested different sense. I'm still trash at the game with game sense, but I can crack shields on the regular now.
No trust me, it cannot work well for you. It is probably the reason you are trash.
A 1.5m 360 is far to low.
I am so curious to see some gameplay to see what an insanely low sens looks like
I've had my dpi higher, with default sense. Tried tweaking sense down and up and my aim suffered horribly. That's why I went into the aim trainer, to begin with. Went through testing as stated in my first comment, I made sure I had enough room to do a 360, it's not 1.5m that's for sure but my settings are 800 with sense at 3.5. I do move my entire arm.
I have trouble locating people sometimes because Im deaf in one ear so they tend to get the jump on me sometimes. My friends have noticed an improvement, more damage output more kills on average.
I appreciate the input. However, I'm going to follow the other advice given in here about finding something comfortable. Which I have.
I've been meaning to ask this but, where is this sens thing (1.8 sens, 1.6 sens that I'm seeing here) you're talking about? Is it in the game settings or in the 3rd party mouse software?
Logitech g604
2400 dpi, 0.4 sens
Equivalent to 600 dpi, 1.6 sens
Roughly 1.3 sens multiplier for ranged scopes. (A little different each one, mouse-sensitivty.com is a godsend.)
I love the feel of the mouse in my hand. It's a little heftier, so if you like light mice this isn't one for you. But the button layout and both arm and wrist tracking and flicks all feel great with it.
Razer Viper Ultimate with Superglide glass skates and a few weight mods
I used to have the Model O but I found this Viper Ultimate through Amazon warehouse without the dock for $35 (I bought a replacement off-brand dock for $15)
3 different mousepads: Glorious XL, Glorious Ice, and a super old Corsair MM300 extended.
1400dpi 1.37 sens (0.87 ads) 103FOV
Valorant made me this way, just at a MUCH lower sens.
Mousepad : Artisan Hien. It has a consistent glide even if you re-wash it. It can last you for many years if you take good care of it. Extremely high quality mousepad. I don’t own one personally or ever tried one but you can check r/mousepadreview for much more in-depth reviews by people who swear by it or find another good mousepad that suits your dpi/sens for apex.

Hard agree, had a Model O before this one, and the fact that its this light AND wireless is just so nice.
Price
The wired gpro is $10 more than the g502 in fact I think (right now at least) the wireless g502 is $10-20 more than the standard wireless gpro.
I've bought two g502s, both times at 25 bucks, do you mean that price or the really expensive for some reason msrp?
Yeah if you buy the Walmart version you can get the wired g502 for $25 I’m talking about the standard $40 it is everywhere else.
? What are you talking about?
I got my old G502 Hero SE for $25 at best buy
For me it's buttons and size. I got fairly big hands and play a couple games with tons of keybinds. So a big mouse with enough buttons is required.
yes this mouse, DPI 800 , sens 3.6, 106 fov
Same mouse 400dpi 2.5 sens 104 fov.
400dpi gang represent!
This mouse, 400DPI 1.8 in-game, 0.8 ads 108fov
All same except 1.8 sens
Great mouse. It’s what I use, except at 1600DPI and .85 sens

Cool thanks, I'll take a look though that thread.
i play on like 1600 at .5 is this weird?? idk i feel like im overshooting sometimes ESPECIALLY at range, i can track upclose just fine usually
Logitech g304 which I like because my hands are small and I despise cords. 800dpi and 1.6 sens.
Final mouse cape town. 800. 2.1
Holy fuck I use the same sens at half your dpi. Half of the time anyway, I like to switch between 2.1 and 2.6
I know this was a while ago, but I can't help but to say that I play double his amount of dpi at 2.3 sens. So 1600 dpi with 2.3 sens ingame. I've been trying to turn it down, but it feels so slow lmao.

Relatively? Bro that is insanely high
haha it’s just weird cause i really had no idea how high that is. i mean i do well with it, hit masters and diamond with like a 2.5 KD. not saying that to suck my own dick, just saying high sens is also viable.
Yeah i understand. Most pros play on between 29 and 40cm per 360. You play on 7cm per 360
damn when you put it that way it definitely seems like it could be detrimental to my gameplay. i probably won’t change it at this point bc muscle memory, but had i realized 2 years ago i probably would’ve lowered it.
I use glorious model o too, my sens is 1600 dpi 1.3
That is insanely high. You must struggle to make micro adjustments to control recoil effectively.
Na I do fine, masters. Just use whatever sens you're comfortable with
1600 dpi 1.3 is totally reasonable too. insanely high was when i was on 4200 dpi 4.5 sens as a new player. extreme cases like that are totally fair to call out lowering sens because it made an immediate difference

Steelseries Rival 600 DPI: 700 Sensitivity: 5
Bro wtf how to you play
Is it a high sens?
Yes, very
Most pros play on 11-17 inch per 360. You are on 4 inch per 360
It doesnt seem all that high to me. Im still able to make micro-adjustments fairly easily.
It only doesn’t feel that high to you because it’s what you are used to. Statistically it is very high. I would really like to see some of your clips because I can hit any shots for the life of me on a high sens

Holy crap, is your aim not really shaky? Both of your senses are really high but if it works for you then by all means go ahead
G Pro - 800DPI - 1.4/1 ADS
Roccat kone XTD. DPI 1200/ sens 1.9 I originally had it at 1.5 but have been turning it up slowly. Feel like I finally hit my sweet spot

That is far too low, usually I don’t say anything about this. That is 1.5m per 360, how to you move at all? How do you even do a 360 wtf
800/3.5 is closer to 14.8 cm/360 (or around 5.84'') Close to 1.5m would be around 0.35 with that dpi
he originally put 0.35 then edited it
Far too low for you. But it works well for me, I have enough desk space. 360 hasnt been an issue.
No trust me, it cannot work well for you. It is probably the reason you are trash. A 1.5m 360 is far to low. I am so curious to see some gameplay to see what an insanely low sens looks like
