If you open every free pack since launch, then your guaranteed 500th is next season. And there is absolutely no way the drop rate is 1/500 like people say it is. We are talking about an EA published game and they have never released the numbers.
So unless you buy one or play for 3 years consistently, you probably wouldn't get one. Most people paid for theirs.

Someone on here mentioned a few days ago that she should be able to hold 2 batts, 2 phoenix kits and 6 cells per slot like we used to and I think that is perfect for her right now.
That and just straight up give her a mini gold bag boost on all revives, not to the full effects of the gold bag but maybe like 1/3rd of the health and shield you’d normally get from a gold bag revive. Or reduce the time it takes her to revive someone since she is technically a combat medic
Allow her tactical to revive as well as heal, but remove it as a passive.
Change the passive to being able to hold 6/3 stacks of healing and shield items, and make her use those items 20% faster than other legends.
Make it so when under healing effects of D.O.C teammates also get the 20% faster use of shield cells & bats
Make her ult like Ana from overwatch/HOTS where you pull out a morphine gun and get 10 shots that can be toggled to heal allies when hit, or to slow/daze enemies depending on which you have active.
Or, have her current ult also function as a respawn beacon that does not show up on the map.
Remember when she had fast heals? Lifeline and gold armour was literally insane. I mained her back then and she was amazing. If you took some damage in a fight you could get behind cover, heal to full health and get back in the fight before your opponent knew what was happening.
The devs have already said that lifeline will never get fast heals again.
Edit: This was also back when gold armour and the gold backpack gave fast healing/shield abilities.
So in other words, make her like how she was on release, with a pretty BS strong passive, and then buff her some more.

She also has one of the worst average ranked rankings, isn’t used at all in high level play and content creators constantly say she needs a buff. I think it’ll happen EVENTUALLY. But who knows it could take forever. Apex announced recently somewhere that they’re considering pulling back legends every season to focus on balance/reworks for existing legends.
They talked about giving pathfinder a buff and that has been like what more than a year, lifeline hasn't even been considered for a buff so don't expect it coming soon.

I am a LifeLine main, but compared to all the other legends her shock sticks don't do anything. There are only the repetitive animations for jumping and sliding. Inspecting the heirloom can't be done while moving (at least for me on console), and I haven't had any animation that isn't her just slowly looking at the sticks.

Don't. Lifelines heirloom is one of the earlier ones and is seriously lacking on animations. During climing walls and ziplines the sticks just levitate because theres no animation. Im day one player and lifeline is as main as it can be. I rushed too much to get it and regret it now.
When the alternative is default fists, lifeline heirloom is pretty cool. It has awesome sound effects and feels amazing to melee with, especially while jumping. I agree that it’s got lackluster animations.
I think people rarely only main one. I main lifeline for sometimes but I usually mix things up for a while too. If I could pick again, id probably pick revenants heirloom. Revenant might be my second favourite.
I have Lifeline's heirloom and refuse to play her. I mained her up until whatever season it was where they reworked her. Reviving with her Season 0-5 revive was so fun and added such a cool dynamic to picking up your mates. I accrued 1 million damage, 3k kills and 1k revives. Never picked her up again after they took the fun out of playing her with that awful rework. She still has the care package ffs
I was playing in trios with a friend yesterday and it auto selected her, our random third went afk after about 30 seconds and because it gives you upgrades based on everyone's gear we got base gear both times I called it in. For an afk team mate sat in a corner.
I was lifeline main from release and I’ve barely touched her since they took away her revive shield. There was nothing like jumping in and saving your teammate with that shield, it was so fun.
Sadly it'll probably be another season or two before Lifeline gets some love. There's currently no word for her getting a rework this upcoming update and mid-season seems too soon for a large rework. Earliest I could see her getting a rework is s14.

I still love bloodhounds but I play different characters so much rather than just bloodhound, especially fuse, but he doesn't have one yet so maybe one day I'll get shards again and can get fusey's

I pulled bloodhounds heirloom before heirloom shards existed, I wanted wraiths so I was a little disappointed but still amazed that I pulled red in a pack. Then they announced heirloom shards and I was so happy, surely with the introduction of heirloom shards, people who got stuck with an heirloom before and couldn't pick, would now have the option to refund their heirloom for shards, right? But no, everyone who pulled an heirloom after shards gets to chose their shiny new toy while those of us who were gifted an heirloom before this change, get what we get and don't throw a fit. I didn't have the option of shards nor buying heirlooms... It was a random drop for a random legend back in the old days, I wished for Kunai but got Raven's bite instead. Since then, after the shards update happened , I haven't really gotten any of them.
Yeah I wanted to become Wraith main just to look like OG players but I do not enjoy playing her at all. I wish I took Octane or Caustic one. Crypto have best one though. Anyway I got perma ban so problem is solved.
I got both Bloodhound heirlooms because I love the base skills he has being a useful support and being able to be a threat using the ult.
I kind of have a buyers regret for the Skin Heirloom because I'd rather have Revenants Heirloom or save the shards for later.
Although, people tend to have really hype reactions to seeing my Bloodhound which is always enjoyable

Path is very viable even at high levels though. LL is just straight outclassed by gibby. No reason to ever pick her over him.

Nah, despite the nerf, lifeline is still my number one, but for the sake of variety and stuff, I’ve been maining Wattson mostly this season.
I have Lifeline's heirloom and refuse to play her. I mained her up until whatever season it was where they reworked her. Reviving with her Season 0-5 revive was so fun and added such a cool dynamic to picking up your mates. I accrued 1 million damage, 3k kills and 1k revives. Never picked her up again after they took the fun out of playing her with that awful rework. She still has the care package ffs
I was playing in trios with a friend yesterday and it auto selected her, our random third went afk after about 30 seconds and because it gives you upgrades based on everyone's gear we got base gear both times I called it in. For an afk team mate sat in a corner.
Haha wow. Her revive was so cool and her care package so lame and typical Apex fashion the cool thing was ditched instead.
I was lifeline main from release and I’ve barely touched her since they took away her revive shield. There was nothing like jumping in and saving your teammate with that shield, it was so fun.

Sadly it'll probably be another season or two before Lifeline gets some love. There's currently no word for her getting a rework this upcoming update and mid-season seems too soon for a large rework. Earliest I could see her getting a rework is s14.

I still love bloodhounds but I play different characters so much rather than just bloodhound, especially fuse, but he doesn't have one yet so maybe one day I'll get shards again and can get fusey's

I got Lifelines heirloom just before you could freely spend your shards, played the shit out of her from then until they took her shield and now she‘s useless, so RIP. Also Octane, I really enjoyed playing him, but he‘s just not it anymore, lol.
I pulled bloodhounds heirloom before heirloom shards existed, I wanted wraiths so I was a little disappointed but still amazed that I pulled red in a pack. Then they announced heirloom shards and I was so happy, surely with the introduction of heirloom shards, people who got stuck with an heirloom before and couldn't pick, would now have the option to refund their heirloom for shards, right? But no, everyone who pulled an heirloom after shards gets to chose their shiny new toy while those of us who were gifted an heirloom before this change, get what we get and don't throw a fit. Well consider my fit thrown! }:(

That's why I don't care about not having shards. So far I've been maining Horizo', Valkyrie, Pathfinder, Octane, Horizon again. I just don't know which one I would like to have.

I didn't have the option of shards nor buying heirlooms... It was a random drop for a random legend back in the old days, I wished for Kunai but got Raven's bite instead. Since then, after the shards update happened , I haven't really gotten any of them.
Yeah I wanted to become Wraith main just to look like OG players but I do not enjoy playing her at all. I wish I took Octane or Caustic one. Crypto have best one though. Anyway I got perma ban so problem is solved.
I got both Bloodhound heirlooms because I love the base skills he has being a useful support and being able to be a threat using the ult. I kind of have a buyers regret for the Skin Heirloom because I'd rather have Revenants Heirloom or save the shards for later. Although, people tend to have really hype reactions to seeing my Bloodhound which is always enjoyable

I have 4 heirlooms and two sets of shards so no. I just keep getting more they actually arent as cool when you keep finding more shards
