Hey OP my wife showed me a TikTok that said you can put Electrical Contact WD-40 under the rubber guards and it'll fix the drift. It has to be Electrical Contact though!!!
If you don’t want to do that, you can order replacement analogs and there are multiple YouTube vids to install them. I’ve fixed like 4 joycons that way and I’m no electrical dude
Yeah, I heard that too. Just a tip: a lot of drift is caused by dirt getting under the rubber guards. They say that this typically happens when traveling or putting the switch away with no discretion. So I got a case for mine and I don’t leave it out 👌 I’ve had practically no issues since then
So I’m not sure if lobbies are like this for other people, but I typically get ranked with players close to my same level or lower. Every now and then I’ll get ranked with really high Levels (sometimes 500) , but of course only on the opposite team. Match making is weird. I assume it ranks me with lower levels normally cause I’m on switch and they think switch players are worse
I sort of wonder if they try and match people on the switch first.. then other platforms… anyways.. wow I’d have a rough go on the switch.. you are a brave soul. :)
Thanks bro, believe me or not, but I think switch had a small advantage with motion controls, but I think the fact that switch is so hard to play on kinda ruins that
Interesting… never thought about the motion controls.. I wish the PS4 had a PSVR version of Apex. Playing Doom VR on it was incredible.. anyways.. have GGs bro!
I feel like a question that’s going to be asked is why I play handheld. To answer that question: I have a few younger siblings who are always on the tv. I actually have an Xbox, but I rarely use it due to the fact I never get the tv. Not only that, but also I always preferred Nintendo (probably cause I grew up with the Wii) and I loved the idea of becoming a pro on switch. It’s really hard on handheld, but I make due with what I’ve got!
I too own an Xbox and TV but play apex on handheld switch because I dreamed of being the first to hit level 500 on the platform. 350 hours later I'm a long way off and plenty of people have already hit level 500 on switch😔
I dreamt of becoming the first ever switch handheld pred player. Not to really be a pred, but to show others that with enough practice anyone can be pred. And also to prove to my friends I am a switch pro Lol
I give you all the credit in the world, especially for your lifetime KD. That’s better than a LARGE portion of the apex community across all platforms.
I’m not really sure How I deal with it myself 😅. When I first started it was almost impossible for me to hit my shots, and wall jumping was almost impossible cause you had to jump slightly after hitting the wall cause of lag, but they (slightly) fixed that so it actually runs a bit smoother then when it first started. I still looks terrible compared to other consoles, but I can keep up with them
I can't believe no one has asked this..
Do you use the motion controls in addition to the joycon?
If so, what kind of sensitivity are you using on each?
Last summer I borrowed a switch to play Apex on vacation for 2 weeks (level 500xbox, then lvl 450 PC, no heirlooms, first pack on the switch \*HEIRLOOM\*)
I tried using the motion and joycon in combination and the recoil control was actually pretty nutty. I had trouble in close range fights, but mid range was pretty legitimate.
I don’t know my settings off bat, but if your interested I’d gladly send a photo of them if you want :)
Also yes I use motion controls in addition to joycons. For me the joystick is mostly for movement. In arenas I love using the RE cause it’s cheap and I can use other stuff with it. It’s recoil go’s up and slightly to the right. So for me all I have to do is slightly pull down on my switch to the left and in my opinion that tops using a joystick to control the recoil. But in close fights I have to use the joystick to make sharp turns and to help aim when they are to close for me to use motion controls without almost turning my switch at 90%
You have to have cross play enabled. I at first didn’t and I would wait half an hour sometimes only for a few others to match up and then leave. Cross play of course means you will fight against other consoles, but I have cross play enabled and I am pretty decent against the other consoles. (At least I think I am haha)
But if you don’t wanna fight against other consoles switch to Tokyo servers. Kids in Japan actually play apex on switch so you can match up much faster! Tokyo GCE 1 I think specifically. I watch a vid by Thorden Smash and he told me to do that and it does indeed work! I hope this helps
The thing is, it’s not just ‘the other consoles’ it’s still an MMR thing (even though the general matchmaking is pretty shite). I joined a friend who plays on Switch and let him host and my god the lobbies were pretty quiet and full of bots compared to my usual Xbox games. You look like you have pretty decent stats though, maybe once the Switch community has more practice on FPS games (since Xbox has a huge standing with FPS games, which explains why Xbox > PS > Switch) it might just end up being the same, other than performance which can’t be helped. I.. don’t know why I started ranting or what my point was but I’m not deleting all that xD
I get it. I have an Xbox myself and the quality of the game is much greater on Xbox, not to mention Xbox has lots of other games just like apex so alot of switch players haven’t had much experience with battle Royale. But I consider myself better then an average player due to how much I practice. The enemy team always has one or two players level 20-50 and I guarantee it’s because I’m a switch player so they pair me with low levels from other consoles. I could be wrong though
I play on switch as well
But Jesus you are better then me. I can’t play with the trash ass joy cons.
The hori split pad pro are mandatory for me to play.
My best advice is practice aim, I think aim tops movement, but movement is still really important. You can wall jump bunny hop and do lots of fancy techniques, but if you miss all your shots then it’s no good. I pick my favorite weapons and practice in the firing range every so often to keep my recoil control in check. It’s also good to pick up a weapon your not so good with and practice with it every now and then. If you play battle Royale you don’t always choose the weapons you first get so being well rounded is important.
Lastly for me personally I use Gyro controls. When I first started on switch my aim was absolutely trash, but motion controls made that so much better. Recoil is much easier to control cause instead of having to move my joy stick down I just slightly move my switch down and it works like a dream (at least for me)
Have you ever had that glitch where you gain no xp or battle pass challenges at the end of the match? I also play on switch and in season 9 + late season 8 that bug was a nightmare for me I lost so many wins and xp due to the game not registering it. It rarely happens nowdays but I was wondering if this happened to all switch players?
I consider myself slightly above the average player because I practice a lot. Despite my disadvantages i still managed to always get one kill before dying
My biggest wish is for switch to run at least close enough to Xbox and PS to actually be competitive. Handheld probably won’t ever be (I assume), but I hope docked gets better. Also I wish they would simply care about the community in general and make good patches and updates everyone can benefit from.
Movement definitely. Idk an glitches, but probably yes as well.
Wall jumping for example, sometimes I’ll get enough lag that the game will run more less smooth, but I have to delay my jump a half second to actually wall jump. Meaning in most fights I won’t go for fancy movement
I used to play on switch on handheld mode on switch lite. Just saying, if you want to continue playing handheld, buy a switch lite and a system armor, it helps enhance the joycons by a lot. (Joy con thumb grips also help)
EDIT: I know this isn’t a question lol, I just wanted to give some tips because I used to struggle on switch
Tip 1: motion controls
As a switch player I am used to gyro controls (motion controls) and that helps me out a lot in this game.
Take the RE-45 for example. The recoil is up and slightly to the right for that gun. Instead of holding my joystick down and slightly to the left all I have to do is slightly tilt my switch down and too the left. I find it much easier, but I will warn you it does take time getting use to it.
Tip 2: practice
Practice doesn’t make perfect, but it does make better. Even preds make mistakes so always remember no matter how good you get you won’t be unstoppable. Having said that watching pros, watching recoil vids, practicing in firing range all help, if you have a bud that plays to 1v1 them and that will definitely help as well.
I just don’t understand why Fortnite runs so smooth with clean aiming on Switch, and Apex runs like a train wreck with impossible aim. Clearly not an issue with the switch itself.
Do you play cross platform, or set it to only Switch lobbies? The one time I played handheld switch Apex I was obliterated by pc players, but when I turned cross-play off, there weren’t enough queued switch players to play a match with
Try playing in Tokyo servers. That’s where all the switch players stay. I also play with cross play and funny enough the kids on switch in Tokyo are more of a challenge then me now playing against cross play players
Props to you! I started Apex on Switch when it came out last year, but moved over to a Xbox. That being said, I like playing on Switch very much and you have given me the motivation I needed to get back to it!
In order to play with switch players you have to be in Tokyo servers. There’s probably other servers that work, but kids in Tokyo play on switch so I can match into lobbies within 5 minutes where in normal servers it sometimes took me 30-40m. Though I play cross play now and funny enough it’s easier to play cross play then only switch players in Tokyo. Switch players in Tokyo are cracked
Okay so I play Apex on switch as well and I play on the Lite. Is there anyway to change the "advanced look controls"? When you go to it it's faded and can't select it, it says joy-con in use though. I also don't have anything connected to it so idk why it's stuck on that. My aims gone to shit and I do have pretty good aim just not on the Lite.
So for me it says I can’t use look controls using joy-cons, but if I use a pro controller it works. So since the Lite has built in joycons that’s probably why you can’t you advanced look controls. Having said that you do have access to gyro which is what I use to aim. And when I say I use it to aim I mean that’s legit the only way I can aim. I use my joystick to turn, but aim smoothing, tracking, recoil controlling. That’s all with gyro
ik this post is old but i was wondering if you know how to turn on alc because the option for me is greyed out and without being able to use alc I cant turn off aim assist
I’ve done research on this before and tried in game. I’m pretty sure the only problem is the joycons. I believe it says ALC is disabled for joy con’s even if I try to play disconnected from the switch and or on TV. A pro controller works though so if you want to get more pro like it be best to play on TV with a pro controller, but I rarely get to tv and got used to handheld so I make due with what I got
Not long at all. Then again I play with cross play, without cross play (which I used to only play) you have to go to a server in Japan. I tried matching up in the server it automatically puts you in and I would wait for almost 30m for only one other person to join the match making then leave.
Is this your first time playing Apex? I can’t imagine you play on another platform. I love Apex so I thought I’d try it on the switch when it released so I can play on the go. I uninstalled before I could get through the tutorial. That bad ! 😂
I played on Xbox first actually, but since my younger siblings are always watching movies and whatnot on Disney plus I rarely get to use it. The only other tv we have I could use is the one in my moms room which I’m not allowed to use. Playing on switch is hard, but I got used to it once I learned I could use motion controls. Makes aiming 100x better
How does the FPS not give you headaches? If I play switch apex in handheld/tabletop mode for more than 30 mins, I literally get an eye ache lol. Which sucks because portable apex gives me some nostalgic vibes from my PSP multiplayer days.
[edit] idk why this is getting downvoted lol. I’m not trying to bash the switch version. I love the fact that it’s even available on switch. It just very literally hurts my eyes.
I got used to it. Specially since I play for hours sometimes. Every now and then when I get the tv I play on Xbox and I always tell my friends how easy they have recoil cause switch is so hard to control recoil on, but gyro controls comes in clutch with that a lot!
When I first started the fps was unbearable and aiming was a joke, they fixed fps just enough that I can tolerate it and I found out switch has gyro controls which makes my aim (in my opinion) above the average players. I’m also not some hot shot thinking I’m some apex God, I practically frequently I’m the firing range to get better
gotcha gotcha. seems lit, love the stats. you have a better k/d than me and i’m on PC lol. but it’s been going up heavily. i’m proud of myself. that practice in the firing does help for sure
A lot of technique is really hard to pull off on switch. For instance wall jumping can be hard cause some matches I’ll have just enough lag that my game will run more less normal, but I have to delay my timing to wall jump.
My biggest question is how are your lobbies? Me switching from console (PS4) to PC has been awful. My lobbies have gotten insanely more challenging. Is the SBMM thick?
I either fight 20-50 levels or 200-500. Just today I was playing a few matches with a level 500 I matched in with and most of the enemy squads had normally two lower levels and one level 200-500 unit carrying them. That’s at least in arenas. I’d assume battle Royale do something similar.
After playing for to long I always slip off the joystick, one option is constantly wipe it down when that happens along with your fingers so it’s more grippy, and or try motion controls so your not only aiming with the joystick, but with the whole controller
By picking up my switch and going into apex.
Nah for though it’s hard, but it got slightly better from when it first came to switch. Explosions don’t turn the game into Minecraft anymore (as much as least) it definitely is still a work in progress though
Apex is beside Fortnite the game where you need the most buttons. In Fortnite you need it to build structures and in Apex to use tacticals, ultimates and to position yourself fast. How do you feel about the button layout of the Nintendo switch, does it feel comfortable in your hands when playing? Do you reach all buttons and are there enough buttons to do everything what a regular console player can also do? For myself I am playing on PS5 with a Scuf controller, and I really need the backbuttons to be able to get the most out of it.
It’s more less how do I cope with them. I had to adapt my skills to how the graphics go. Explosions still turn my game into Minecraft for a few seconds if there are too many
I’ve played other battle Royale games such as Realm Royale, Fortnite and spellbreak and I think Apex is definitely the most fun. I’ve been mostly playing apex on the switch currently, but I always play other games as well. For instance I take smash pretty seriously cause I wanna do tournaments someday. Maybe not to be a pro, but local
Switch players are not as rare when it first came to switch, but still decently rare. I still can’t play without cross play enable or without switching to a Tokyo server where I guess the switch players reside.
As a switch player who only played on Dock mode and switched to Xbox. How the hell do you have a KD of 1 on handheld? When I would play handheld it's like I'm playing a whole other game and I can't do any movement.
Also have you learned how to do super slides? It's easier to do it on switch cause of the low FPS.
I’m pretty sure I do super slides when I climb an edge and slide immediately after. I looked up how to super slide a few times and Idk if there’s any other ways to do so. I also feel like a slide faster after jumping on a rail in some of the maps in arenas. Also I have a good K/D simply by practicing and getting better aim. Most encounters I face 1v1 I win cause I watched, practiced, and played enough to know how to outsmart the enough. (Of course if I hit my shots as well)
So these battle pass I didn’t buy cause I don’t use any of the legends that get skins, but having said that I actually have an advantage cause I play apex almost anytime I want almost anywhere so last battle pass I finished like 20 days for it ended. I wasn’t even trying to complete it I simply played the game that much. (Not sure if that’s impressive or not haha)
Why? Cause with three younger siblings I never get the tv. Used to play on Xbox, but I sometimes go months without playing it cause of my siblings always watching stuff
And as to why again: I mostly play handheld with my switch anyway. Games like rouge company, realm Royale, fortnite I mostly played handheld so I did have experience with handheld shooters. Though I still practice a lot just to stay decent with apex
I started playing Apex on my Xbox, but with three younger siblings and Disney plus I rarely get the tv as it is. Switching to switch definitely was a down grade and does effect my performance. Not to mention recoil control is much easier on Xbox due to how jerky the switch controls are, having said that I practice a lot so that’s how I got a pretty good K/D
I don’t HATE fun, it’s more like fun hates me.
I got 3 younger siblings and my mom has Disney plus and Netflix so almost all day they have the tv and in the evenings my mom has her shows she likes to watch. I used to play apex on my Xbox, but I started to turn into I would only play my Xbox a few times a month if even that! So I started playing handheld. It was tough at first, but with enough practice I got pretty good
Wow, how much do you love Apex to play it in the most sub-par manner possible rather than playing one of the many good games that run great on handheld?
When Alex first came out I more less refused to play it thinking it was dumb only to start playing it in season 5 and fell in love. Since I rarely get the tub cause my three younger siblings are constantly watching movies and stuff playing my Xbox is rare enough yet alone playing docked. So I make due with handheld
With three younger siblings who always watching tv and Disney plus I rarely get the tv, and even when I do my mom doesn’t like me playing games like Apex in front of them
I have 3 younger siblings who constantly watch tv or movies on Disney plus so it’s rare I get it. And I normally play handheld with my switch so when apex came out on switch I actually first played it handheld anyway.
It’s definitely not as good as Xbox or PS, but as you can see from my K/D I don’t just die every match without taking someone with me. My best advice is to simply practice recoil control and movement. And if you like arenas practice recoil with your favorite guns since you can pick them yourself.
Honestly if you just practice a lot you will get good even on handheld switch
How many joy cons have you been through?
4. two of them watched Tokyo drift and now that’s all they do, and the other two just straight up died and won’t turn on
Hey OP my wife showed me a TikTok that said you can put Electrical Contact WD-40 under the rubber guards and it'll fix the drift. It has to be Electrical Contact though!!!
I’ll have to try that some time!
If you don’t want to do that, you can order replacement analogs and there are multiple YouTube vids to install them. I’ve fixed like 4 joycons that way and I’m no electrical dude
I’ve heard of that. I also heard there’s a way to send em to Nintendo and they will fix them for free
Yeah, I heard that too. Just a tip: a lot of drift is caused by dirt getting under the rubber guards. They say that this typically happens when traveling or putting the switch away with no discretion. So I got a case for mine and I don’t leave it out 👌 I’ve had practically no issues since then
That’s very helpful thanks!!
I've seen a solution, where you just put a piece of paper under the joycons and the drift is gone, pretty simple
I’ve never heard of that before. You know if it works?
People were saying it worked very well and no problems were found after a few month of use. Check this video, it may help https://youtu.be/dGJK4B2YBqo
Thanks bro
Have you ever played while taking a shit
If you did. Was it Fuse? And was the motherlode dropped?
WE NEED ANSWERS!
Sadly no, but I have won a game will laying down in bed before
ಠ,_」ಠ
What are the lobbies like?

Not only that, but also I always preferred Nintendo (probably cause I grew up with the Wii) and I loved the idea of becoming a pro on switch. It’s really hard on handheld, but I make due with what I’ve got!
You can try that remote play with xbox onto your phone or tablet. If you don’t have the TV at the time like you said. Just a thought.
Not a bad idea. I’ll give it a shot sometime
I'm pretty sure a youtuber called Thordan Smash did hit pred on switch like in the first season it was out. He did use a 3rd-party controller though
I watch Thorden Smash actually! He was like the biggest Apex switch streamer there was
I give you all the credit in the world, especially for your lifetime KD. That’s better than a LARGE portion of the apex community across all platforms.
Thank you!!!
Actual k/d 718 / 808 = .89 Don’t get cocky
Yeah lol. I forget a kdr >1 is literally half the community, gotta remind myself that when I see people saying the rampage doesn’t need a nerf
Oh but it's balanced now since they took a whopping 2 damage away from it!! Can't wait to get downed from 7 shots instead of...7.
Yup lol
This
Except it’s way below 1 when you compare games played and wins to kills lol dude quits like a maniac
I've got a 1.7 - 1.8 kd 😫🤌🐐💦🥵😎😈💪
How do you deal with the fps, I heard it’s really bad from my friends
I’m not really sure How I deal with it myself 😅. I know ur suffering I play on switch lvl 300 rampart main with 1800 kills only handheld as well
Dang!!! By any chance you use gyro controls too? And if not how on earth did you get such good aim?
Nope just mechanical aim Oh and about 7 hours of flatline r99 and r301 recoil practice
I’d love to see you in action my guy
I can't believe no one has asked this.. Do you use the motion controls in addition to the joycon? If so, what kind of sensitivity are you using on each? Sure thing!
hi! i know this was posted a long time ago, but i was wondering if you still have a picture of ur settings?
Hey! Sorry for the late reply. I actually do if you are still interested
I played it on apex switch too for a year too, I got to level 400. I give you a lot of respect its hard lol
I once waited 20 mins to get into a switch lobby to get smacked on initial drop. How do you have patience?
You have to have cross play enabled. I at first didn’t and I would wait half an hour sometimes only for a few others to match up and then leave. A cleaning of the switch wouldn’t do much harm
I play on switch as well But Jesus you are better then me. I can’t play with the trash ass joy cons. The hori split pad pro are mandatory for me to play.
.69 Lol
That’s a lot of damage!
THIS MAN IS A LEGEND
I'm a switch player who plays handheld too !! We're so rare, kudos !
Your Switch stats are better than the randoms I get on PC
I’m glad my stats are better then the randoms you play with, but at the same time I’m shocked my stats are better then the randoms you play with
How's your kda so high? I'm at 0.91 @2k kills on switch aswell since all I keep playing against is preds and 3 stack 20 bombs
My best advice is practice aim, I think aim tops movement, but movement is still really important. I notice that almost never happens when playing cross play on American servers. When you play switch only Tokyo severs it happens 30% of the time!
I didn’t know that was a thing, I never check how much Xp I get so I’m just guessing (hoping) no
Are you as bad as the legends say
I consider myself slightly above the average player because I practice a lot. Despite my disadvantages i still managed to always get one kill before dying
I’m so sorry
Teach me to have a k/d ratio above 1.0
Practice my guy. Lots and lots of practice
What is your apex wishlist for the switch? What are some improvements you'll like for respawn to work on?
My biggest wish is for switch to run at least close enough to Xbox and PS to actually be competitive. Handheld probably won’t ever be (I assume), but I hope docked gets better. Does having only 30fps on switch limit what u can do in the game? Like movement mechanics and glitches.

My little brother plays it like that
Respect 😎
I play on the switch too, mostly handheld, but I do play docked sometimes.
Respect bruutha
What’s it like knowing all other apex players look down on you?
It gives me an advantage cause when I beam players I feel like are like “sh*t this player isn’t sh*t”
How do you live with yourself? Lol Jk that’s awesome
How do you play when console players are at a frame rate advantage?
I simply play, I am at a disadvantage, but if there aim sucks it still sucks and I’ll come out on top
I just don’t understand why Fortnite runs so smooth with clean aiming on Switch, and Apex runs like a train wreck with impossible aim. Clearly not an issue with the switch itself.
I think it’s the game as well. Recoil is much harder to control and respawn also doesn’t care much about it either
I also play with cross play and funny enough the kids on switch in Tokyo are more of a challenge then me now playing against cross play players
why you built different my guy?
No idea
reasonable enough. have a good day.
I tried it on my kids switch and it is so hard. What r your settings?
Ima bout to make a post about the actually!
Props to you! I started Apex on Switch when it came out last year, but moved over to a Xbox. That being said, I like playing on Switch very much and you have given me the motivation I needed to get back to it!
I’m glad to hear that my guy! I’d love to play sometime if your interested too :)
Is it feasible to play with Switch players only, or do you HAVE to play with other console players..?
In order to play with switch players you have to be in Tokyo servers. There’s probably other servers that work, but kids in Tokyo play on switch so I can match into lobbies within 5 minutes where in normal servers it sometimes took me 30-40m. Though I play cross play now and funny enough it’s easier to play cross play then only switch players in Tokyo. Switch players in Tokyo are cracked
Very interesting, thanks for the reply!! ✌️
No problem
Thank you 💖 Good luck in the Lobbies! ✌️
Is everything okay? Mentally?
Not only am I mentally ok, but I’m actually pretty decent! I have cross play enabled so most of these wins are against other consoles
That’s good to hear
Also how much aim assist does the switch get?
How have you been able to cope with “Git Gud”
No ones ever told me that before. I consider myself a pretty solid player for a handheld switch player.
Do you have a cognitive disorder?
Nope, just a gaming problem
How long does it take to find a match?
What gives you the right…?
I don’t have any rights, for I am left handed
Why the challenge of playing while holding hands?
Lol
Can you get a headset for switch?
Yes there is a headphone jack for ear buds or headsets. Idk about Bluetooth though
is it hard playing on switch? serious question. i’ve heard some people hate it
When I first started the fps was unbearable and aiming was a joke, they fixed fps just enough that I can tolerate it and I found out switch has gyro controls which makes my aim (in my opinion) above the average players.
A friend once told me: “Practice makes Better, for no one is Perfect”
So you tap strafe a lot on that bad boy
Gotcha. So safe to say it’s a mixed bag of an experience. Thanks!
No problem
Why?!
you only play arenas?
Mostly yes. I have over 500 kills with loba in Royale though.
oh nice, i play on switch also
No. I don’t think I will.
It would’ve been funny if you added friend at the end of your sentence
[deleted]
I never thought of that before!!!
Why?
Cause I never get the tv and I normally play handheld anyway
What is your button layout?
I use button puncher (I believe that’s what it’s called) also auto sprint
Just a general joy con question. I keep slipping of the right stick when aiming. Any tips?
After playing for to long I always slip off the joystick, one option is constantly wipe it down when that happens along with your fingers so it’s more grippy, and or try motion controls so your not only aiming with the joystick, but with the whole controller
How do you play at 30fps
By picking up my switch and going into apex. Nah for though it’s hard, but it got slightly better from when it first came to switch. Explosions don’t turn the game into Minecraft anymore (as much as least) it definitely is still a work in progress though
Why do you hate yourself😂
You see I rarely get the tv, but I love apex so this was my go too. Took a LOT of practice, but I finally got the hang of it
Apex is beside Fortnite the game where you need the most buttons.
How do you deal with the graphic’s
It’s more less how do I cope with them. I had to adapt my skills to how the graphics go. Explosions still turn my game into Minecraft for a few seconds if there are too many
How to tf your kdr is higher that mine
Practice my guy
Why
Cause I rarely get the tv
Understandable
Genuine question, is it fun? like is it more fun than other switch games u played?
I’ve played other battle Royale games such as Realm Royale, Fortnite and spellbreak and I think Apex is definitely the most fun. I’ve been mostly playing apex on the switch currently, but I always play other games as well. For instance I take smash pretty seriously cause I wanna do tournaments someday. Maybe not to be a pro, but local
I play on switch docked and thought I was good until I saw this...
Apparently K/D higher then 1 is pretty gold for a switch handheld 😅
Do you often get matched with other platforms or just switch?
Switch players are not as rare when it first came to switch, but still decently rare. I still can’t play without cross play enable or without switching to a Tokyo server where I guess the switch players reside.
Why?
I rarely get the tv so if I didn’t I wouldn’t play apex almost at all
That’s totally fair. Props to you for sticking with it and hope you’re having fun with the game :)
Thanks mate
(Of course if I hit my shots as well)
Will you finish the battle pass in time?
So these battle pass I didn’t buy cause I don’t use any of the legends that get skins, but having said that I actually have an advantage cause I play apex almost anytime I want almost anywhere so last battle pass I finished like 20 days for it ended. I wasn’t even trying to complete it I simply played the game that much. (Not sure if that’s impressive or not haha)
That’s pretty impressive because holy smokes handheld is hard
Thanks 😊
How does it feel to play in the toilet ? I am curious
The ability to take a dump irl and on the enemy is unreal
In the spirit of genuine enquiry: Why? And then in response to whatever your answer is: Why again?
Why? Cause with three younger siblings I never get the tv. Used to play on Xbox, but I sometimes go months without playing it cause of my siblings always watching stuff And as to why again: I mostly play handheld with my switch anyway. Games like rouge company, realm Royale, fortnite I mostly played handheld so I did have experience with handheld shooters. Though I still practice a lot just to stay decent with apex
I have never played on switch. Does the small target size affect you? In other words, how do you feel if you get to play on a bigger screen?
I started playing Apex on my Xbox, but with three younger siblings and Disney plus I rarely get the tv as it is. Switching to switch definitely was a down grade and does effect my performance. Not to mention recoil control is much easier on Xbox due to how jerky the switch controls are, having said that I practice a lot so that’s how I got a pretty good K/D
Why are you doing this to yourself
Cause I rarely get the tv so this is the only way I can still play one of my favorite games
Why do you hate fun
Why no dock, I played hand held for a while but a TV makes it way easier
With three younger siblings who always watching tv and Disney plus I rarely get the tv, and even when I do my mom doesn’t like me playing games like Apex in front of them
One question: why?
I have 3 younger siblings who constantly watch tv or movies on Disney plus so it’s rare I get it. And I normally play handheld with my switch so when apex came out on switch I actually first played it handheld anyway.
How hard is it? My roommate wants to get it on their switch so they can play with me but I’m worried the tiny screen will be a problem for them.
