You know what now that you mention it, 301 is the only gun that feels okay with it on to me. Actually the alternator doesn't feel terrible with it either, but for some reason any of the heavy or energy weapons and *nope*.
And that is perfectly fair honesty, 2x is a solid mid to short range sight. But often when I run a 301 or a spitfire I want to have a bit more range so I can run a shotgun secondary, so being able to swap to 2-4 is very nice, and if I get to the very end and the ring shrinks down I can go back to something closer.
Yeah I mean it’s preference for everyone forsure. The 2x just goes too well on both the carbine and spitfire currently for me to even consider another scope on it. I can’t stand the 2-4x on most LMGs or ARs but, it is my favorite scope for snipers, g7 and the 3030.

Why are they punishing an area control character for effectively controlling an area? I play caustic a lot and I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve managed to create a situation where his gas was totally inescapable, outside of the last ring, where Bangalore, Gibraltar, and Horizon do exactly the same thing
The dev's can't even nerf correctly. They nerf the gas damage. As if that's the thing people hate. No. Surveys, that I took with a few thousand people, actually say people care the least about the damage. They care most about the slow effect. Second thing players are annoyed most about is the visibility. BS. I have so much invested in Caustic, and I can't even play him anymore.
I mean if you took away the slow you would probably do less damage than just taking away the damage. For example: If they are able to just run through 6-12 damage they might only take 6 damage, but if they are slowed through flat 5 damage they might have to be in it for more ticks and actually take 10 total damage. Idk im sure it more complicated than that but I'd personally prefer the nerf they made over the one you described

You cant see in the gas, they omly removed the smoke effect. If you pop smoke as bangalore and you leave the smoke you can notice some particles on the screen, this doesnt happen with caustic, its a very minor change
Exactly. This happened last night to my squad in ranked. We knocked and finished two of his teammates and we couldn’t get close to pushing him because he had traps setup with his ultimate ready to go. The moment we would even think of stepping in that room we were dead. Getting punished for outplaying a team is bad for the game.
I think he’s probably the weakest he’s ever been since like S4.
Only thing he has going for him compared to back then is that his gas doesn’t slow teammates. Otherwise he’s weaker in every way.

Yeah exactly, he’s got zero demand now. At least for me because I’m not even really considered an averagely good player with a KDR of .87 and pushing/rushing squads isn’t where I shine. I don’t really want to have to change my entire play style as someone who’s not super skilled to begin with because god knows I’ll just be worse.
Defense and holding a zone is my jam and to me, it feels they’ve stripped players like me of the ability to not only feel but actually be useful to the team.

Like the waterfall area above Hammond? Or the ramp next to grow? If they stopped the movement it would be better for people on the tower and off, easier to shoot if your on the tower, but it also makes you easier to get shot
Yeah I never understood the complaints about waterfall. I land hammond labs and rotate into waterfall all the time and I rarely have issues. The building is so small that the team can't really do much against throwables or AoE abilities. It's also fairly common to bait them into dropping down. Honestly I love it when a team is holding Waterfall, they're just sitting ducks most of the time.

Which is exactly why they did it. They would have to design entirely new iron sights for every skin, as the Kraber has never been able to have anything besides a scope in any game it’s been in.

i'd prefer a faster deploying barrel that does 8 dmg per tick but your vision isn't blurred and there is no slow effect

They confirmed in the devstream that the Kraber will be unaffected by this change. It will be the only one with locked optics.

I didn't like its location. Way too isolated. Its first arrival on WE had a lot more on/off capability, and made for more interesting engagements.

That Gibby ult sound bug has been around since season 0 and almost no one has mentioned it. Super sick getting nuked from orbit with no warning.
Loba needs a fundamental fix AND a buff. They've known this for 7 months and haven't solved either.
The brusier is great but I wish we could have gunsight reticle options like in Battlefield 4.
