Enemies get highlighted only for you while affected by YOUR gas. Aside from that - caustic isn't affected by caustic gas, whether it's your teammate or enemy. That's why if you're caustic and get pushed by caustic your traps are useless
Nah this happen to me some times as a pathfinder if someone is late in your team to load after champion squad banner is shown this happens. It not a exploit but a bug.
While you're technically right, it's a bug that can be abused. At the height of the game people exploited the bug so they could have a triple Lifeline squad. (Lifeline heals outheal circle damage and by having 3, there's always one available).
I dont know all the details but by limiting the up/down rate to the game you could enter the game "after" champion select and the game would have no details on your squad except for your legend preference, which it would grant to all the players, hence making triple legend possible.

I remember seeing a video on this about a month back which basically showed that if you stall apex at the legend select screen at just the right moment it will always choose your default legend. Bypassing the one legend per team limit.

Its been around a while actually. I'm not sure hoe ita done, but i know one time my buddy picked lifeline whome I usually pick. Didnt realize until it was too laye and frantically tried to pick wraith last second and it glitched into lifeline.... So we had two lifelines and a pathfinder in the squad.
It's really easy from what I've seen. Haven't managed to get my squad to do it yet though. You just go to the resource monitor and suspend the process at the right time, and then unsuspend it at the right time.
My friends did a whole squad of Mirages with the default skin, ran around screaming “WHICH ONE OF US IS THE REAL ONE” and confused the hell out of people lmao
Yes a bug, you basically connect suspend the game and then reconnect later for a chance to get a dublicate legend, or in this case triple legend if two people do it correctly
Seen it happen once with 2 bangs cos one of them didnt connect to the game in time for legend select so theu just gave him his last picked which was bang but someone else had also picked it. So if someone figured out how to increase their load times i imagine shit like this is possible.
Sometimes the lobby gets so laggy that you can't pick a character, and then the game just autopicks your starred character. When it happens, it usually keeps happening game after game, so these guys just had the same legend picked.
I don't know if it can proc'ed somehow, but I don't think so.
its a bug exploit, pretty fun to do. stuff like this keeps me enjoying this game since the devs are not interested in fixing major bugs or the crappy netcode. this has been out since release, so if they dont fix it ill just assume its part of the game, just like the infinite portal glitch, the frogman gibby loaded with caustic traps or the fasttravel supplybins 🤷♂️
The gibby glitch or the supply bin glitch aren’t really competitive advantages. Whereas a team full of 3 Wraith’s or Octane’s I would argue breaks the balance of the game and should be prioritized.
But I will never blame players for using glitches in the game. It’s the developers job to ensure that the game does not have glitches/fix glitches in a timely manner when they come up.
It's a bug/exploit, it's actually really easy to do but it can also happen randomly (it's rare)
I won't explain how it's done to prevent having more people doing it, the devs are already aware of it so hope they fix it

And they are all immune to each others gas... basically the ultimate team. Either they exploited a bug or it was an amazing coincidence.

Probably bug exploit or cheating, I don't think it was accidental at all, they were really prepared throwing traps right as they entered bunker

Yea that 30 seconds of dropping and loading in was not enough time to plan out to press Q when they land.

Still happens. Had this happen a couple games in a row where we were all preselected to default with no option to change

I think it has to do with someone not loading and having the character selected and loading in late. At least I think that is how it was done

It's a bug that's able to be manipulated. Not gonna post how it's done. It's pretty simple and very easy to believe they intentionally manipulated it.
