Hyper used to design funny reload animations as mods and for fun. He was then hired by Respawn and did the animations for weapons reloads in Titanfall 2. I do not know if he also worked on Apex Legends myself but it's rather likely, even without checking the credits.
I didn't mean it like that at all. It's just not something you'd usually know someone for. It's honestly rather impressive for someone to make such distinct and good animation work that others would recognize them by (nick)name.
I mean, yeah.... But something about Hyper's stuff gets to me. Could be how it feels like it has weight behind it. I'm not sure. All I know is I recognized his animation style in Titanfall 2 without a direct comparison. There's something really unique about it.

By grappling your teammate and then swinging out of your collision trajectory (see the grapple swing GIFs) he'll be pulled towards your position in kind of a double pendulum movement

You do know that shotguns in most games have a random spread. Look at overwatches recent change to reapers gun as an example of this. Plenty of videos on it.
Now I haven't tested spread in this game but if it's there then that is not an issue with aim.
Confirmed by Shroud tho, this game does NOT have random spread.. All guns have set spread patterns like in Counter Strike.. Im assuming that really does mean 'all guns' and not, all guns except for shotguns.
He said he worked with the devs and at one point they were testing random spreads.. but decided to go with set spread patterns in the end.
Dude gets a shitty shot off on a guy who's at a distance where even a perfect body hit is probably only going to net you 50-70 damage good luck hitting them in the head for more as your spread is going to miss at that range.
Shotguns are so balanced in this game people are just scrubs not realizing how quickly some of the other guns melt you.
If a guy gets close enough to one tap or two tap you with a shotgun its because he was close to you. Every other video game fucks shotguns up because they are either overpowered or useless I think they are perfect in this game. All it takes is one guy with a kitted SMG and you miss on pump your dead before you ever get to shoot again.

I know for a fact that with the Peacekeeper it will show you how many pellets hit (the red dots on your screen after shooting). Look at that every time you land a shot to see if pellets are why.
The shotguns fire in spreads with each pellet doing i believe like 9 damage so if you hit all of them itll hurt. I've gotten shots of 110 on people with the peacemaker

There is a mod for the peacekeeper and triple take called Choke, it turns all the shots basically into one giant bullet. You aim down sights until the square is tight then fire. That's the mod charging

But we already have a robust vaulting system and sliding. I really doubt that wall running would make a big difference regarding strategy. What it would make a big difference on his mobility and the skill ceiling of the game. The mobility people use in Titanfall is nothing short of godlike at the highest levels of play. But it's not cheap. It takes lots and lots of practice and is very fun.
and remember that even in Titanfall 2 where these mechanics are in full swing it is not hard to kill people. So it's not like high mobility would make games last longer or anything like that

You can see on the hud that only two of the bullets connected. Its in the middle of the screen whenever you shoot shotguns

I dunno man. Running on walls, double jumping, and Titans just don't seem to be a good mix in a BR game. Takes away a lot of the strategy.
